Rai, WOW they are great looking numbers honey! Yay for moving to BFP section on the listy Xx

Glorious, Well done on all 5 eggs fertilizing. Fingers crossed they continue to progress nicely Xx

Bunny, How are you going? Are you tempted to POAS yet?

AFM, The clinic just called and had a chat to me about whether we would like to transfer just one or both our embryos this cycle. They are recommending that if they can get my lining good enough for a transfer that we use both our blasts. They said it would take our chance of success from 39% to 57%... But obviously with that also comes the risks of twins. All that said of our two embryos one is a 'good' day 5 blast.. The other was a slower progressing embryo frozen at day 6. So maybe it's not worth just transferring one and then potentially have to go through another cycle again with only a lower grade embryo??
Any thoughts ladies... I never really thought about how hard this decision could be...

    Rai, congrats!

Joe, just me and my messed up sleep patterns... I posted that just before going to bed...

Jasmine, it all depends on whether the risk of twins is acceptable to you. If you really don't want twins, you're better off using just the one. The fact that the slower one was good enough to freeze says a lot, so I wouldn't give up on it just yet!

Jasmine, I agree with Juniper. Either or both could give you your BFP! GL with whatever you decide No POAS as I onw did my last Pregnyl shot last Saturday gone so would probably give me a false positive. So I'm going to hang on. Think my test will be next Saturday. This wk better not drag!!

Jasmine i would be more worried about higher order multiples then twins, with one embryo twins is still a possibility. for me i have always said coping with twins i could do as i have 2 breasts and 2 hands, any more and i need another person But that is a decision only you and your DP can make.

I haven't heard yet... eagerly waiting news. they had close to record EPU's yesterday with 24(28 being their one day record) so i am guessing their embryology unit is busy I am glad that they will text me and then i can look at them online we are taking the kids to the drive in tonight hopefully to celebrate.

I had to explain to DH the process again this morning as he had thought that when i said last night they had all been fertilised that i meant they were just ready for it, so he is happy his swimmers did the job of getting through

the news is in all have been fertilised normally.... i had kind of guessed that by last night but obviously that wasn't what it meant. Pictures are not up yet (not exactly sure when they put them up.

Bunnyfeet our clinic are right into using online info so it is nice to access all the info as many times as i want/need

    Hi ladies

Sorry been out of the loop for a while.
Juniper - so sorry last cycle of iui didn't work for you again. What's next?

Jasmine - omg bleeding so early after transfer - that sux! I had that happen my first ivf cycle & dr had no reason for me either. I would personally only put one embryo back as twos are high risk pregnancy. Usually they are born 8 weeks early and there is high risk of one or both having complications including cp. My dr has advised us against it. He did say if I was over 40 or had poor quality embryos or 3 day embryos I could.

Rai - congrats Hun! Fantastic news.

Bunny feet - hope this week goes quickly for you & a Bfp is coming your way

Glorious - gl with your 5 embies growing up nice & strong for Friday.

    Hi to everyone else.

Afm - saw dr last week & have been told we will get pregnant we just have to keep trying! I am allowed to do natural fet cycle again as that's how I got my Bfp. Had scan Wednesday & my lining was 7 so was very happy. Had another scan Friday & it had got thinner again down to 6.3. Grr! Was told I had already ovulated but to take trigger just in case & start progynova sat. So I have done that & am praying my lining has decided to get thicker again. Having scan tomorrow morning & if lining is 7 or above I can have transfer tomorrow afternoon. If not another cancelled cycle. I spoke to my dr about having 2 put back in but he strongly advised against it. Think ill put one for the next 2 cycles then the last 2 can go in together (hopefully we don't need to use them all).

Rai, congrats honey, great looking numbers!

Beau, GL with your scan tomorrow, hopefully you can have your transfer

Glorious, yay for all eggies fertilising nicely!

Jasmine, my FS was always against having 2 embryos transferred due to the possibility of multiple pg. Personally, I would be scared to transfer 2 as I would be freaking out in case both of them took. With my first pg, I had a 5 day old blastie transferred and it took. With my second FET, the embryo was a 6 day old embryo, and on day 5 it wasn't doing much (I think it arrested) but started diving again on day 6 and it was frozen. That's my 3 year old DS. So even if the second embie you'll be putting in isn't fantastic, it can still take, so you could end up with twins. For me personally, I don't think I could cope with twins after my singleton pg, so I couldn't have 2 put back in. But it's a very personal choice, so GL with that decision.

Emma, good to see you back in the game!! GL sweetie

Hello to everyone else, sorry that's as far as I can read the posts.

AFM, just plodding along, this cycle seems to be taking forever. Mid August can't come quickly enough....

Rai-Congratulations! I am very happy to hear this good news.

Glorious- It is great, five embryos are fertilised.

Jasmine- My FS said it only increases about 5% chance for making pregnancy by putting 2 embryos in. If you are really worried for having twins, maybe just put one and like Juniper said don't give up on the day 6 one and Miss. B has experience for a day 6 embryo making pregnancy.

I went to see Dr. Shlomi Barak yesterday for second appinion, he gave me some test to do such as chlamydia, gomorrhoea, ureaplasma and mycoplasma and suggest me to do Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopy as well. Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopy are expensive ( It is about $3000 in total). I don't know I need it or not. If I do that, how long I have to rest before I start the other cycle for IVF. Does anyone give me any idea for this? Thanks
