Good for you seeing the positive in this and im sure your life will be much happier with out thoese people in it - i have too worked at a 'difficult place with difficult people' and although still working for the same company, just changed areas, feel so much happier. i still have to see some old work people at staff social, meeting ect but they are all OK to me !!WTF at while they were very surprised i was appointed 2IC wished me well, but then again maybe they thought i would use my position to expose them. Guess what they are slowely dropping off on their own( and i dont mean they are dying) Just leaving to do other things, which is good for them as i feel they needed it, sure they may have needed a bit of a guide in that direction but i hope they will see that it is to better them. I hope that they start to listen though. Its always the same the ones that need to go to the training dont put their hand up hey

Lou..did I tell you I didn't have my phonecall with Dr Sacks yesterday? They said it was free then decided $100 should cover it and I can't claim from medicare..so I thought I'd wait for D&C test results from FS on 4th July and see what other tests he will do then talk to Dr Sacks after that...if that makes any sense?????

Ellie - that makes perfect sense - it's kinda hard knowing whether to fork out $100 for a phone consult with a specialist if you don't have all of your results in front of you - it might be that something shows up in your test results on the 4th - and if not, you know what you're looking at if and when you decide to contact dr sacks

    hope you're feeling better hun

    lupus anticoaulant
Has anyone had problems with this one?
I have just gotten my third BT request for this test, so I'm assuming something odd has come up on the first two...

    hi bec

i've not had any issues with this one (pretty sure i haven't been tested!) - but doing a quick google search, i found this

Antinuclear Antibody Test (ANA) -- This test identifies certain autoantibodies typically present in the blood of people with lupus. Most people with lupus test positive for ANA. However, a positive ANA result can occur due to infections and other rheumatic or immune diseases. In addition, healthy people without lupus also can test positive.
is it possible you've tested positive and your doc is doing follow up tests to check whether there is a possibility of lupus (which is really difficult to diagnose) or whether you had the antibiodies due to other factors - if the first two tests were inconsistent results, they may be testing a third time to check the result again... perhaps their monitoring your immune responses... i'm just guessing, but it's something to consider - i doubt they'd be testing specifically for lupus, more to look at your immune antibodies in general...

if you're concerned, i'd ask your doctor directly why they're testing you again for this - can't hurt to ask! goodluck hun!

Just a quickie as I'm not feeling too well today.
Still waiting for AF, currently on CD31 of normally a 27-28 day cycle. Did a HPT this morning and got a BFN. Still feel very ordinary though. For about 4 days or so now I had have this hunger/nausea thing going on and it's always one or the other. I've been having cramps this whole time too. So frustrated. I just want a BFP, or to start the pill for my down reg cycle. Why does this have to be so hard all the time.
Sorry, having a poor me day today I think!

Megan - i can so understand the "poor me" day hun - you're allowed those!! don't feel bad about it - i think i'd be worried if we didn't all have those days every now and again.

so sorry you got a BFN hun - it's hard when things start looking ok and then you get your hopes dashed - but don't lose hope hun - some HPT's aren't super sensitive, some people don't get positive HPT's til much later - until AF shows up, there's no guarantee that result is accurate.... still want to send the bugest of hugs to you anyway - i can understand how hard it is to be in limbo land, and just wanted to let you know i'm thinking of you. take care

    Hi Megan
Sorry you're not feeling great...do you know when you ovulated? Could it be that it was a bit later and the HPT wouldn't work yet? I'm always looking for the chance it could be BFP!!!!Can you call your clinic and have a BT? Give you an idea where you're at? Hang in there...hope you get your answer soon xxx

Thanks girls I tried to go and have a bit of a nana nap, but obviously there are too many things running through my head at the moment.
Ellie, I wish I knew when I O'd, but I have no idea. On a "normal" cycle I usually O between days 16-18 and have a shorter LP of 10-11 days. So, if I'm not pg then I must have O'd after CD20 this time.
I'm going to have to find my thermometer....I think it's still in one of our unpacked boxes somewhere!
I'll wait until around Wednesday, and if still nothing will contact my nurse and see what she has to say.

Megan, I do have to say that it does sound very promising... the hunger/nausea thing and the fatigue... all you have to do is add extreme sensitivity to smells and horrendously sore boobs and you have me in the last few days of the TWW after my FET. Possibly some more hope for you, too - I never got a positive on a pee stick. At least not anything that I'd call a real positive... I'm sure it would show up now, but I've decided they are evil and should be avoided at all costs. I'm going to be turning myself into a pretzel for both you and BG this next week.

    Been a while..

I have been reading daily but have only just got my butt into gear to write so hi to everyone.

Last weekend was a bit of a mess as I had to take one of my ****atiels to the vet...to cut a long story short we thought it was a "he" turned out to be a "she" & she had an egg causing her heaps of pain & making her sick so she had to go under anaesthetic to have it removed. It was that or put her down and as sad as it sounds they are part of the family. She pulled through & is slowly getting back to normal.

So weird that DH & I are going through the infertility thing & here my bird has an egg she doesn't need!!!I laugh about it now but I was a mess on Sunday!

Ellie..sorry to hear about the Strep B...sounds uncomfortable, hope it clears up quickly for you. Just what you didn't need!BTW I would be fuming if the ppl at my work did that.
I'm with BG - don't think they'd want to mess with the girls from BB!

Megan - sorry to hear you got a BFN...sending lots of your way. We all have poor me days so no need to apologise. Heck I sometimes have poor me weeks!

DH & I are off to see new FS tomorrow. Feel a bit weird as not sure what I will think of FS. Hoping if I have all copies of results & ultrasound showing PCOS that he wil support us trying IUI or IVF. FIngers crossed. I keep thinking of what a great Chrissie present it will be to have it finally happen.

Will keep you posted with how we go...

Have a good night everyone...shame the weekend is ova

Yes BW, don't go twisting yourself in knots if caterpillar isn't comfortable! lol

Had a nana nap a little while ago. Lasted all of about 15 minutes, but I made myself lay there for an hour.
The nausea is still hanging around, but is coming in waves every 5-10 minutes. Luckily dinner is just a quick pasta dish tonight that takes just after 5 minutes to cook. So, as soon as the next hunger wave hits, DH is going to put it on and feed me! lol I've only had toast, a banana and two cups of tea all day. I just wish I knew what I felt like eating!
