    Congratulations Hummingbird!
Jasmine & Epayne: from the 4 eggs l had, 3 fertilised, 1 was transfered and from the 2 embryos left, only one was frozen.
Im feeling good, just a bit bloated.
I had the second Pregnyl today, was wondering if that was it? No more drugs?

CatyO - the cycles I have done with pregnyl I have always had to have 4 shots. One day of transfer then every third day. One cycle I had my bt brought forward a day but would advise against that as I had a positive result but it was residue from the pregnyl shot.

CatyO, I do 3 booster shots - 3, 6 and 10dpo - for my IUI cycles. I've also done 3 booster shots with my last 3 IVF cycles (not always the same days though).

    Thanks CatyO.
On cycles where I used pregnyl rather than the progesterone pessaries I always had 3 shots, different docs always do different things but if it worries you I would check.
I hope you're feeling ok and don't need that frozen one xx

MissB- Glad to hear you are getting some niggly pains! I wouldn't worry too much about your weight.. I was given the 150unit dose too and I'm only 48kg. My FS told me that it is fine. When do you have your first follie scan?

CatyO- Well done on ending up with an emby in the freezer! 2 suitable out of 4 is great!! My clinic does progesterone (Crinone) or 3 booster shots.. Maybe give your clinic a call if your not sure if that's it??

AFM- I have full on AF now and really bad AF cramps
So devistated! I am supposed to be going for my first follie scan tomorrow but obviously that won't be happening! My clinic was closed yesterday due to the public holiday so I am very keen to call them as soon as they open this morning and get some answers.. I'm so scared this cycle is going to be cancelled

Jasmine, let us know what the clinic says. FWIW, my FS always does a scan at CD2 in any treatment cycle and my AF is always super heavy on CD2, so having AF doesn't necessarily rule out a scan. It just depends on your Dr. My first two Drs never did one during AF, but our new one did the very first time I saw him (just happened to have my first appt on CD2). I'm expecting to have a CD2 scan again later this week to kick off our next IUI cycle...

Juniper- Thanks! I called the FS and was told I am still to come in for my scan tomorrow. Was feeling really yuk about having a scan during AF so thanks for comforting me that I'm not the only one! Fx that you won't be needing your next iui cycle Xx

AFM- So I'm still going for my scan tomorrow! FS said that despite the bleeding the FSH will still be working my ovaries and so a follie scan is still in order. He said that due to the bleeding I may take longer on FSH to stim the ovaries but that would be a good thing as it will give my lining time to 'build up' again.
He said my biggest concern for this cycle is going to be my lining being too thin as I have now lost it a week into the cycle. They will give me all the meds they can to try and build it up in time but said there is a good chance that I will just be doing the EPU and then freezing any embies for use in future FET cycles! I'm still a bit bummed as I really think the odds of succes are better in a 'fresh' cycle so will be praying & praying that my lining will be thick enough
Started Orgalutran today (geeze that needle hurt lol), it's my first time using it as with my last ivf cycle I was on Synarel spray..

Jasmine, if your lining is too thin this cycle you'll definitely have a better chance with a FET later! There's an emerging school of thought that FETs are better because the body is less stressed after having a rest between EPU and ET. It's an especially good option for women with immune infertility issues. It's a slightly risky strategy for someone like me who only gets 2-3 viable embryos (because not all embryos survive the thaw), but it's a good option if you have more embryos to work with.
