CatyO- You are in my thoughts hunny! Fingers crossed that next week brings better news... We will all be praying that it is simply a lab error or something

Joespratt- Best of luck with the DHEA.
Beau- Wow lady you are doing well holding out till your BT on Tuesday! Is AF now officially overdue?
AFM- A few mixed emotions going on at the moment... The lab called after lunch yesterday with an update on our embryos. First part was great news. Initially we were told that only 6 of our 10 embryos fertilised but when they called yesterday they said we actually have 7! Apparently there was one that they were having trouble getting a clear view of under the microscope so they weren't 100% sure if it had fertilised. They put it back into the incubator for another 24 hours and checked it yesterday and said it had fertilised and progressed.. So we have 7 embies! However this is the part that worries me.. Yesterday (at day 2) we had the following..
4x 2 cell
1x 4 cell
1x 5 cell
1x 8 cell
I have read on the internet that they should be at a 4 cell stage on day 2.. So does that mean the 4x 2 cell are not going to be viable? And what is with the 5 cell.. Sorry if this seems like a dumb question but I thought embryos have an even number of cellsHELP
