I'm sorry to hear that Juniper. I will continue to stalk as I know a BFP will arrive sometime.

    Hi ladies

I am back from overseas. It was so good to get away. Time with my husband was great but now we are home reality has set in again that I should be 12 weeks pregnant but instead my bhcg isn't even back to baseline 4 weeks since d&c. I have tried to make appointment with the psych at the clinic but can't get in for just over a fortnight. Grr. I need it now not in another two weeks. Anyway enough about me. Looks like it will be may before we can start thinking about doing another fet - once my body behaves.

    Sorry for my rant.

Me4ever - congrats babe! Hope this one stays around for you!

Juniper - I'm so sorry - bfn suck so much Sorry I've never had to take supplements.

Ill try catch up on everyone else soon.

Kel, I'd count back to 5 days before your ET (ie Friday - 1/3/13) and call that O day, then calculate the pg from there (you can find calculators that use O day online). O day is considered to be 2w0d pg, so you would be 2w5d today. An OB will almost always use a LMP (they have this single-minded fixation that everyone has a 28 day cycle, no matter how many of us don't), but I always just said we did IVF so my LMP was irrelevant and my due date is "_ /_ /_". When people argued with me, I gave them an "adjusted LMP" that matched the due date, not the real (irrelevant) LMP. By LMP, you would be 3w4d today, so you can see there is a 6-day discrepancy! If you went to a scan and they used your LMP to date the pg, you'd have them freaking out that you were measuring a week behind when you were actually measuring right on track! That's why I always date by O instead of LMP.

    Thanks again ladies.

    3 fails daunting road ahead

    Hi
New here and will need to learn all the abbreviations but looking forward to sharing with you all.

I'm 40 hence the tag name, my partner and I have had 3 failed ivf cycles and have issues with embryo quality, we've been on this roller coaster for over a year now.

Saw my Dr on Tuesday and going to try a new approach. He suggested doing a few ivf cycles to try and get a few good quality embies. Then genetic test the ones that make it to 5 day blasts, if there any goodies we'll freeze them and then for the really fun stuff(not) 6 months on zoladex to prep my insides cause I have adnomyosis and mild endo.

Anyone else out there done anything like this? I did 6 weeks on Lucren last cycle and that was horrible

    Anyway that's me!

    Hugs to all x
