    Hello everyone,

It's been two years...more like 3 I think...since I was last here in the LTTTC forums. I had an absolute disaster with my last cycle, ended up in hospital after the transfer with excessive bleeding which was very traumatic at the time. No surprise it was a BFN. Since then I've had an embryo in storage and haven't even had the courage to do a pap smear, never mind think about doing another transfer. BUT life is good! I'm probably the happiest I've been in a long long time. So why am I here?

...my period was due on 26 Feb and hasn't appeared yet. I'm feeling so nauseous, tired, hot, peeing lots, (but I do have lovely shiny hair and skin ?!) and well the thing is I'm too scared to test. I just can't bring myself to do it. It's about 5 1/2 weeks since my last period started.

So I'm here because I know you'll understand. I've had something like 10? 11? IVF transfers and 5 full cycles and a miscarriage that was devastating. What to do? I just rang my lovely GP who encouraged me to do a home test and also suggested if I wait a week she'll do it for me (no appointments until then). What if its negative? What if its positive? I've been told I have a 50% chance of miscarriage. It's doing my head in!

Just when you think the journey is over!

good luck to everyone waiting and congrats Krikkit - best of luck for your pregnancy. Beau30 I've been getting stupid night sweats - I didn't know that was progesterone related!

Hi Alice. Did you mean AF was due 26 March or is she really over a month late? Sounds like some good reasons to test and put yourself out of your misery. As kbudgie said, what will be, will be. At least if you test you can stop guessing... That's just me though; I can also understand not wanting to test. I only used HPTs with 2 of my BFPs and I ended up with a m/c; never used a HPT with my other BFP and had a successful pg. It was just coincidence, but you can't help but become a little superstitious when you've dealt with so much disappointment during LTTTC.

If you are pg, I hope you have a safe and healthy 9 months.

Early morning family outing to the clinic for us this morning to drop in DH's sample for testing. The bill hurt a bit though (just under $550). It would be nice to get good news for a change, but I'm very worried that it will be more bad news...

Woke up this morning feeling nauseated again but then spent the entire outing feeling like AF was about to start (due tomorrow), so my body seems determined to play games with my mind...
