Mrs P - sorry it might be a BFN - I really hope your wrong though and tommorrow u get a suprise. I know how hard it is - all the stress. Hang in there, thinking of you. x

Emerald Star - I keep forgetting the dates but yes I do have a schedule. My nurse is away on hols though so I havent heard from her which makes it hard. I just have a whole heap of paperwork to read at the moment. I have my meds appointment on the 8th July and persume I start the nasal spray soon after that, then injections and egg pick up I think around the 27th July. I suppose I'll be more clear on it all after the 8th.
Im at work at the moment so can't look it up.
I hope you get an awesome b'day present!!

Mitf - that would be great with all 3 of us doing our first IVF together. Its great having others to talk about it with who know what you are going through. And yes hopefully because there is 3 of us it will be very lucky and we'll all get BFP's!!
    Goodluck with your up-coming appointment.

    Hey everyone.

Mrs P - how did your blood test go today?

mitf - What were your lap results?

AF arrived for me on Thursday night, so BFN... I did a blood test on Friday - I have read that you could have an early miscarriage, and I wondered if maybe we were actually pregnant...

We're doing another cycle of IUI, and then I think we'll go onto IVF, but I am scared as I don't really know what it entails, and what to expect.

Hi girls - confirmed BFN. So I have to wait for a month then the clinic has rec'd we go for another full stim cycle as we only have one frostie, and if it doesn't thaw then I'd still have to have another month break etc.

Does every one else have to have a one month break? Wasn't sure if that was common or not. Apparently they are expecting that I will have a bleed shortly, but I'm not sure it will happen since I don't normally get AF unassisted. So that's all a bit confusing.

I guess we're lucky to have made it to get something to transfer in our first cycle, but it's still pretty hard to take. Am going to really have to psych myself up to another stim cycle so soon.

Sorry no personals today - need to have a few BB free days I think and then hopefully be back with a postive attitude.

MrsP, Sorry to hear you go the BFN you expected. I've done back-to-back stim cycles this year. I did IVF#2 in March. AF started 3 April (day after BFN) and I started synarel again at 7dpo that cycle (6 May - long cycle due to delayed O). I just had to go in at 7dpo for a progesterone test to confirm I had O'd.

    Hi girls,

Mitf - thanks for the luck! right back at ya!! Also you're right an early birthady present would be good too.....you don't know how much i'm praying for us.

Loops12 - Sounds like you are on a different protocol to me...but our goals are the same! It will be interesting to read what we are experiencing with all the different protocols between you me and Mitf. I can't wait to get started on this journey now that i know i can share this with you guys....

babytruj - hi! good luck with your journey and keep us posted. When will you start your next IUI? Maybe you will be on your 2WW with us in July?

Love you girls and all your support for everyone is amazing!!!

    Everyone else in the 2WW

Mrs P - so sorry to hear about your BFN. I hope you are doing ok xo

Emerald Star - hanging out till Wednesday when I will finally have a set plan. I don't think it matters which protocol we are on. As you say the goal is the same and while the treatments may be a little different, they are essentially the same.

Babytruj - waiting till Wednesday to find out my full results and next steps. I have had a couple of goes at IUIs and was a bit nervous at the though of IVF.... but we have now come to terms with it, because essentially we really want to start a family and we are willing to do what ever it takes.....I am now actually really looking forward to it and the promise it holds. Besides it can't be that bad thousands of women are willing to undergo it every year. Good luck with your treatment, if and when you are ready to head to IVF, I am sure everything will fall in to place for you.

    Hi girls!!!

We moved house and I just got back on the internet today.

We have our first natural FET tomorrow. I suffer from blood clots, and so tried taking aspirin to assist things. Turns out I am allergic to aspirin. So fingers crossed no clots or this FET. Has anyone heard of alternatives to aspirin for clotting? I read somewhere about Apple Cider Vinegar, but prob too late to begin taking that for this FET.

    Come on little blastie stick!!!!

Hope you are all well and will be back in here for personals shortly.

MrsP, looks like I'll be joining you for another stim cycle too. We're keeping our one snowbaby on ice. I'm taking the next cycle off and aiming for EPU in either July or August.

Mrs P and Juniper: huge hugs to you both. Sorry you didn't get the result you were hoping for.

AFM: AF arrived yesterday.....i now have a month off before we look at defrosting the little ones! DH and I had a long chat to FS the other day and have decided to only transfer 1. We've got a nurses appt for July 1 to tell us all about frozen emby transfers and then it's a bit more waiting until next AF arrives! pfffffft just do it now already!!!!!!!!!!

Mindhugs - It may be a little late for this cycle but your FS should be able to prescribe Clexane which is a drug they use for people at risk of Deep Vein Thrombosis which is pretty much a clotting problem.. Do a search on Belly Belly and a reckon you'll find some interesting info.. Good luck...

And Good luck to everyone else cycling at the moment..

    So CD 10 today.

I have gone from 100iu of puregon upto 150iu then a huge jump upto 225iu everyday

I have also started orgalutran 0.5ml everyday and pregnal 0.1ml every second day.

nothing much seems to be happening.

I had 10 follies (5 on each side)

with only 3 growing over 1cm.

I see the embryologist on Friday so they can make a decision on when to do pick up.

Also, is it normal to have EWCM right now?

Hope everyone is doing ok! and baby dust to all xxxx

    Hi Ladies,

I had my FS appointment this arvo and things are looking promising. Got the results (and some pretty cool pictures) from my Lap. I will definitely be moving ahead with IVF next cycle, (down regulation) so will start synarel later this cycle. DH & I are just happy that things are moving and have something positive to look forward to!

Anyway I hope everyone is well and good luck to those undergoing treatment at the mo.

    Hey everyone

Thanks for always being here. Sorry I don't write too often.

Emerald Star – I went for a scan today (day 8) but no dominant follies, although one on the right looks bigger (and that is useless to me as no fallopian tube on right) so they have suggested another scan on Monday to see which side is dominant to see if it is worth getting a Gonal F injection to stimulate the follies, and go ahead with IUI. So, depending on follies, it could be any day next week.

Mitf – thanks. I guess I just worry a lot about everything, and the thought of daily injections scares me, and also what if the doc doesn’t do it all properly to make you come back again, and pay thousands of dollars every time… Why can’t it just work first time? And why can’t we all just fall pregnant. It’s so unfair! Great news on the promising results

Midhugs – my friend has suggested something called Diabecin. It is more for diabetics, but is supposed to be good to help thin the blood. Speak to your doc about it – or try cinnamon based things, as cinnamon is supposed to be good for that as well

Has anyone done acupuncture? And do you continue it during your FS treatment (IUI / IVF?) I did it last cycle, and I guess there is no way to say it helped, but I had 2 good sized follies on Day 8, but I was too scared to continue with it after the IUI…

Babytruj - thanks for the med advice. I've been having weekly acupuncture for over a year now and also had it either side of my TF this week. It's done wonders for my cycle, so I can't say enough good things about it.

Lil MHC - also thank you for your advice on Clexane. If this TF amounts to nothing I will most def be pursuing some alt drugs to aspirin.

INJECTION TIP - for all of those girls currently injecting themselves as part of their IVF stim cycles, I found that one of those freezer bricks that are used in esky's is great to numb the injection site - particularly for Ovidrel or whatever booster shot you are given. It works, so try it. The booster tends to be quite thick and can hurt a bit otherwise.

Have a good weekend girls. I'm on the TWW. My BT is 29 June.
