Just a reminder to all: all LTers love seeing a fellow LTer achieve that longed-for BFP, and we all find hope in one of our own having success in this difficult journey. But please remember that there are those who cycled with you who may not have received good news at the end of their cycle. Please do not post baby/child/pg tickers or pg related signatures (eg blinking BFP icons) etc in this forum out of respect for them.

Hi Girls, Thanks for welcoming me here!
It's great to have all your support! I'm just trying to understand each part of the cycle each of you are...
Misty77, How exciting!! I am actually not sure about your question... but I remember the nurse telling me after my last EPU that I had to keep fluids up because they extract a lot of liquid from each follicle...

Me: I've been on FSH for the last 5 days and today started to feel very very bloated! Hopefully will have few good eggs this time!

    I have my for everyone!

    Hi all

I had an ultrasound today and have 10 nice follies. I'm triggerred tonight (1:30am! - poor hubby will have to be woken to give it to me) and have EC on Wednesday. This is the point where I get nervous, but fingers crossed I'll be better than last time.

At the risk of being that annoying person constantly asking questions -I was told today that my "levels were quite high" and to make sure I drink lots of water. As I had doorbells ringing and dogs barking I didnt ask any more about this. But of course now I'm worrying about it. Any clues as to what exactly this refers to (I'm on puregon and syneryl)?

Miss K I hope your surgey was a success! Will look forward to updates.
Where is everyone else up to? I hope everyone is well
Spring and Boc - nice jokes but Lionfish made me laugh harder by getting Bocs joke mixed up!

Misty Thanks hunny! Drink lots of water to prevent OHSS thats what they may mean I could be wrong so don't quote me on it and also have alot of foods high in protein, Though thats what they said to me after I was injecting FSH and had high hormone levels xo Oh and 10 follicles how good!!

Misty, I believe they are referring to the number of follies you have. They have you drink lots of water to reduce the risk of OHSS (ovarian hyper stimulation syndrome). This is when your little belly swells up full of liquid, you are putting on weight, you have strong pain in the abdominal area , quickly and you become dehydrated. Another symtom is that you are not passing urine. This often happens when you produce lots of follies. Severe cases require hospitalisation, but this is quite rare. I should know, I was hospitalised twice in one cycle last year. If you get a chance, ask FS for some info on it. They will have some handy that can explain it better than I can. I hope I haven't startled you, severe cases are very rare, normally when you have 20, 30 or even more follies. Good luck sweets!

Thanks girls for the replies. It is so nice to know you're all out there.
Spring- I just realised from your signature that you had two embies transferred recently, best of luck!
    Keep up the updates all!

    Smile Hello

    Hi all,

I was given this thread on a blog. I am looking forward to chatting to people that are in the same boat. I am on my first cycle of IVF(ICSI). I finish my pill next week and am on Synarel at the moment. I am looking forward to my scan on the 1/July. Then i will know when to start my injections. Just wishing for a little miracle at the end.

    Hopes....
