n2l, I'm just looking at my iperiod app - the first down reg cycle went as follows....

19 sep 11 = CD6 (possibly CD5 as I think AF came in the afternoon, but I still put it in my app as CD1... anyway...) = started pill
3 jan 12 = CD21 = started synarel
9 jan 12 = CD27 = stopped pill (continue synarel)
14 jan 12 = CD32 withdrawal bleed (but I call it CD1 again, as it's like a full AF for me...)
16 jan 12 = CD3 = Down Regulation scan
20 jan 12 = CD7 = 2nd DR scan = started Puregon (continue synarel)
27 jan 12 = CD14 = stimulation scan
30 jan 12 = CD17 = stimulation scan
31 jan 12 = CD18 = trigger
2 feb 12 = CD20 = OPU
4 feb 12 = CD22 = ET (this was the cycle that gave me 3 embryos - nothing stuck though...)

2nd down reg went as follows....

3 june 12 = CD5 = started pill
20 june 12 = CD20 = started synarel
26 june 12 = CD28 = stopped pill (continue synarel)
1 july 12 = CD33 withdrawal bleed (again I call this CD1 again)
2 july 12 = Down regulation scan
3 july 12 = CD3 = started Puregon (continue synarel)
10 july 12 = CD10 = stimulation scan
12 july 12 = CD12 = stimulation scan
15 july 12 = CD15 = trigger
17 july 12 = CD17 = OPU
19 july 12 = ET

My antagonist cycle in October was first scan was CD8, again on CD10, CD13, CD15, CD17 (had to increase the meds each time to boost the little follicles ) this was 5 days of jabbing before the scan.

The current cycle I am in, scan was on CD8, which was (again) after 5 days of meds (in this case clomid, and puregon). I have to start the orgalutran tomorrow as well... not looking forward to that one, it hurts more

so... back to your question (which I probably could have answered in a sentence, but it was interesting to process each cycle this way anyway..!) scans were after 8 days of jabbing both times sounds like you are on track to me.... ..... jeez..... I could have just counted and saved you all having TMI, sorry!!

No wonder Down reg feels like it takes forever...! it does!!! I just checked the MIVF booklet that has the two diagrams about how the cycles usually look, and the scans are on different days following stim drugs....

the antagonist is much quicker, and I certainly feel like things are happening more... but I think I was less emotional on the Down reg - this time I am just a blubbering mess over little things! My poor brothers both copped it today! one over the phone (where I didn't know what he wanted me to do about an impossible situation with my dad) and the other one (17 year old!) after the phone call where I just couldn't stop crying and leant into his shoulders and just hugged him and cried.... the poor thing, he won't know what was going on!!! ( still he was pretty gorgeous and lovely and later on when I apologised for being a sook he said "it's okay we all need to be a sook sometimes"...

anyway... long story short..... N2L, yes.... the stim drugs are taken for longer on down reg.... .... yes.... in real life I do go on a bit..... sorry girls, I hope it was helpful, I'm going to leave it all in as it was useful processing information anyway, and it's kinda amusing to follow my thought processes, and I have to submit you all to the pain as well...

I'm going to go to bed, and meditate on my little ovaries for a while love you all xoxo
