Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception Nov-Dec 2012

Emma I am so sorry you lost some more. I think it depends on the clinics and what they think is best at the time depending on each individual circumstance. I am hoping you won't be needing the ones in the freezer. I agree with Amy jellybean don't be to hard on yourself. I ask my clinic everything so I can understand the divisions they make.
Maybe have a chat to them and they might be able to explain why they wanted them to go past day 2/3.
Sending you a big hug xo

Emma that actually sounds pretty good by my FS standards!! He said that you might et about 10 - 12 eggs in the first place, and 8 might fertilise and then you'd get two or three embryos that were okay for transfer!! So far, I have only had one cycle where there were leftovers, so you're doing pretty well to get three to day 5! I know it doesn't change how you feel right now, and maybe you've had more in the past (I can't recall your previous hauls!), but it reality that sounds like great numbers xox

N2L -lap OPU sounds annoying!!! Hopefully you don't have to do that, but if it brings in a bigger load then - well, I guess it's just another in the long line of sacrifices you have to make for the little blobs Hope you feel better soon - glad there's no OHSS signs.... I'm all good here too... just really sore belly - but makes sense with 8 follicles at 2cm diameter in each ovary!!!

Kerbear - hope you are feeling okay about everything I assume that if they get everything and suck it all out you'll be right and avoid the OHSS.... it feels pretty crappy, but I got the signs after EPU - the next day my belly up higher - right under ( . )( . )'s was very tight and sore - then just got worse because of the pregnyl... needless to say I have avoided the pregnyl this time - back to the crinone for me!!!

Jo - yeah my nurse told me when I had my BFP that anything over 30 was great - at the time I was 720!!!! so looks like you are lined up for a successful month - all going well!!

kbudgie - sorry it wasn't the news you wanted, I hope the FS has a good plan for you x

AFM - trigger done... I'm first on the list for Wednesday EPU, so we have to get there at 7am!!! painful! Now at least that they are doing all the procedures at the Mt Waverley site, I at least don't have to go into the city to get it done - which is much better
Going to ignore all the dramas happening with my dad this week and just focus on me and DH.... (well, at least I'll try!)

Hope everyone else is going okay
