Good luck for fertilisation rates myturn & n2l.
Myturn I had bleeding for a day or so after epu - I was given panadiene forte for the pain too. I did have 19 eggs collected but was actually feeling so much better once they were out & was able to eat again as wasn't bloated so was a happy girl. Didn't take any more than a day of pain killers.

My bt results were inconclusive as i have very small amount of hcg in my system but low progesterone (near baseline) so need another bt Friday. Doesn't look good for me - I know it's only my second cycle but when there is apparently nothing wrong with me I thought this one would work. Sorry I know many of you girls have been doing ivf a lot longer & still no luck - I am just winging. I don't know how you keep doing it - I admire you all. I just hope af hurries up now so next cycle can get under way. Needs to come by Monday at the latest otherwise we will be taking a break.

beau we are in the same boat. nothing wrong but 2 years on and still not preg ago i understand how you would be feeling expecting it would work. hope you can go again soon xx

Sorry to anyone i've missed - it's so hard to keep up! AFM nothing new to report. Just waiting for "O" now should be another week or so. Appt with FS on 19th Dec due to start the pill as of next CD1 ready for next IVF cycle. FX I don't need it and I fall pregnant naturally. Who knows - the endo has been removed and with DH's low count it only takes 1 to do the job!

Afm i was at the clinic for bloods this morning and I fainted. The girls at fertility north were marvellous. Im not allowed to drive in case it happens again and ive been having bad dizzy spells. Doctor checked me over and gave me some panadiene forte and some anti sickness anti dizziness pills. Feeling strong swirling waves of nausea today anf have a constant dull ache behind my eyes. Hopefully ill feel better after a good rest.

Rai - thanks for thinking of me

Juniper - I have to agree with Rai, a second opinion never hurts, every doctor has different opinions at views and depending on how up to date they are depends on what they will try. Ours is determined to never to the same...of it didn't work change something and see if you get better results.
As for advice on doing OI or ivf, I was the opposite dh wanted to go to ivf and I wanted to try OI for a while, after 5 IUI and then changing specialist we found that after our first ivf and the limited follicles that it may have been all wasted as we may not have had eggs in them. So for us I wish we had have gone to ivf earlier but you have to do what feels right for you. It's one of those things that we really can't get a definite answer on.
On the upside I am glad your ankle is getting a bit better xo

Curtsy girl - glad to hear your bloods are doing what they should an that little one is staying stuck.

Well I am now officially PUPO with 2 x day2 embryo's. I would be happy with one but would love both to stick and get twinnies :-). We will know if the other 3 make it to freeze, they are quite fragmented and not quite dividing as they should so we will see.

The ones they transferred were a tiny bit fragmented, one was a 4 cell, the other was a 5 when we got there and turned into a 6 just before transfer. They also used embryo glue so i am hoping it helps them stick. BT is 24th December.

I'm feeling a bit sore tonight - tight stomach area suspect mild OHSS rearing its ugly head... But time will tell. Anyway. It could be the big dinner I had..

My ovaries and abdomen are still sore and feel full and bloated every time I eat even if it is something small. Question- is this anything tone concerned about? I just feel different to last few times after epu and don't seem to be feeling back to normal as quick.

I often found I still felt bloated a couple of days after EPU, maybe as much as 4 days. I think a couple of times I was bordering on some mild OHSS, but it always eased on its own. I wouldn't worry unless it becomes very painful or you get shortness of breath or you stop peeing. In the meantime, keep up your fluids (water/gatorade) and protein intake!

This question might be one for FS but someone might know... Since AF finished earlier this week I've been having hot flushes and night sweats. Very strange considering I'm not on any medications at the moment but I was on Zoladex for 6 months until August this year then followed by the pill for almost 3 months and synarel for almost 2 months which just stopped about 2 weeks ago. The only time I had these side effects was when I was on Zoladex for endo.

thanks Ker - my advice is drink lots of gatorade enjoy the forced rest.

I'm still a bit bloated, but it's not as bad as last time, so I think things are okay.

just had a call from my FS, and apparently 6 embryos from the 9 eggs, and 2 okay for transfer, but one of those will not freeze, so he is advising to put two in!! yay, I get to put two in

I'm cross that there's nothing left, but mostly I'm just excited that we get to try two.... I know that there's an increased risk of problems with twins, but I'd love to have twins. Can't help myself but feel excited.... told myself not to get too excited about this one, but as the due date will be my mums birthday, I can't help but think there's a chance....

ah, all the protective shields have disappeared now!

n2l - hope things are going well with your little blobs

ahhh... the TWW is going to be SOOOOO long this time!!! and I will be doing NO exercise, and going to TRY no chocolate as well I'm assuming White Chocolate is caffeine free though

Just a quick one. I have four fertilised. Bit disappointed But what can you do??! Have to ring this arvo to see how they are going.

I have a five day transfer - all going well. So Monday is the day. Finding it very hard to muster up any positivity at all.

Still sore and tender from lap.

My turn - I can't get over how similar our cycles have been, a day apart and 2 embryos transferred for both of us. How funny would it be if we both fell pregnant with twins lol.
I forgot to say the other day that I read your post about still trying to get to brissy to meet, that would be so good and can't wait xo

N2l - sorry you are still feeling yuk from your lap, can't wait for you to join us in tww. Hopefully the ones that are fertilized are doing great and you didn't need the others anyway xo. Rest up and look forwards to your transfer on Monday

I am sitting here thinking how long this wait is going to be, I am excited to think after all these months of having a break that we now have a really good chance.....please let it work!!!
