Kel, I'm sorry to hear it was BFN. There are a lot of things that can potentially prevent the embryo's success - embryo quality, clotting issues and immune issues are probably the main ones. In our case, it was primarily quality issues with some possible immune issues playing a less significant role...

Glorious, I'm so terribly sorry to hear you're in this situation! I hope it's all a false alarm and you get a clean bill of health. If it is cancer, then I hope they can defeat it quickly and easily.

Sarah, darker is darker. These early weeks are always stressful...

Kel, I'm so sorry sweetie I started off great with IVF (falling pg with each transfer, three times) then it all came crashing down. Out of the 3 pg, I have one DS here on earth, I am blessed and I'm very thankful for that. I just want a sibling for him. The last 2 transfers, BFN. The first one admittedly was a pretty poor looking embie (grade D from memory) but this last one was a 'picture perfect' one, grade A, no fragmentation, just perfect. Still, a BFN. I am about to have another FET with one of my last 2 embies, and I can't help but feel a bit flat.

Glorious, I'm also sorry to hear you're in this situation . I pray that all ends well for you hun, everything is tightly crossed x

Sarah, hang in there lovely, I really hope to see you graduate this time

    Hello to everyone else

AFM, plodding along, I think I'll have a scan/BT next week to pinpoint ovulation and see when transfer will be. Should be more excited.....but

    Thanks juniper & missb xo
Took another test this morning and it's lighter :-( .
    Gearing up for the worst.
This was our last ivf attempt.
The one frosty left I feel will be wasted on me! Broken inside and out.
Sorry I'm not so sunny xoxo

Just a quick update from me as a bit out of it on painkillers...

Had the lap on Tuesday. No endo but lots of scarring and adhesions. My left tube was removed and sent for biopsy as it was "abnormal" - very inflamed and enlarged. It was completely stuck to the side of my uterus. There was also a lesion in my bladder which was removed and is being biopsied.

I came home last night after spending the night in complex care. I am very sore and tired and a bit upset.

    Hi Ladies,

Firstly Glorious so very sorry to hear about the possibility of cancer, I hope they are wrong and it's something else a lot less serious.
Wishing you all the best of luck, surround yourself with supportive positive people x

Sarah oh hun that just sucks I'm still hoping you get your BFP, as they says it's not over till the fat lady sings

N2L wow you have been through a lot with your surgery, wishing you a speedy recovery and hope you get some good news from the biopsies
    take it easy x

Everyone else all the best with wherever you are at thinking of you all, I'm praying we see some good news soon on the forum

    Last try

My thoughts are with you all- Glorious best of luck with the tests, N2L and Kel82 I'm sorry this is so hard for you too.
I have my ultrasound tomorrow to see if I have grown any follicles for an OPU.
This is our final try... our last cycle was meant to be our final but I ended up in emergency dept. then in surgery for another lap and hysteroscopy- ruptured endometrial cyst and they found another cyst and more endo.
This surgeon rated my chances as 'very slim'.
DH and I agreed that that cycle did not count so fingers crossed for this one.
Not really holding out much hope anymore- this is IVF cycle 10, no pg, no frosties- can't seem to get many follicles. We've created 8 embies from the 10 cycles but they just fragment
I'm kind of looking forward to getting off this rollercoaster by Christmas- God knows I need a drink!
