Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception Nov - Dec 2013
Thanks Positively, GL with your test next Friday, I'll have my fingers and toes crossed for you. 4 years is a long time, I hope this is it for you :) TWW sucks :( This a natural FET cycle for me, and although I am not supposed to be taking anything, I am going to use the crinone gel as it will help me to feel like I am doing something useful. I do hate the side effects though...

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception Nov - Dec 2013
Had my transfer today ladies, 7 cell embie, thawed out 100% which was good, I'm glad I still have one on ice and they didn't have to thaw the two. Now the dreaded 2ww begins.
Juniper, could you slot me into the 2WW, thanks hun :)
I was a bit peeved off as I planned to use the crinone gel as a piece of mind, but I wasn't sure when to start, so I managed to ask my FS (who coincidently did my transfer, first time ever :o) and he said that if I start using it, I might have to keep using it to 12-13 weeks :o. I've only ever used the crinone on my fresh cycles, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to use it with this FET and even my nurse said I could if I wanted to, but she never mentioned that I'd have to possibly keep using it for several weeks. Any advice ladies? What would you do? The FS suggested that I check my progesterone on Monday and if it's on the low side I can use the crinone, but he said that because I have a regular 29 day cycle I should be OK....

Lol, I thought the same thing too. We'd better just get a few more from this group in August!
Truth be told, our last BFP (mm/c) was due 30 July so I was in both the July and August due date groups on FF, so it's kind of hard being in an August group again... But, regardless, whether this lasts 2 days, 2 weeks, 2 months or 8 months, I've joined the August bellybuddies group!
One day at a time...

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception Nov - Dec 2013
Congrats juniper!!! Omg!!!
Miss B use the crinone!!! I used it in my natural cycle just because I had leftovers from my ivf cycle and once I got my bt results my fs put me on pessaries til 12 weeks and I weaned off them slowly by 14 weeks. I think (again just my non dr head) but as we get older a bit of progesterone help can't help and may just create some extra stickiness.
Exciting in here ladies xx

I'm on CD 6 today.
My df is home to dtd and will be for some time so this is good!
I've finally decided to try another fs as I think we are going in circles and maybe a freash approach/ perspective may help.( but I do like my fs!)
Trying hard not to give up!
My new one is very competent in endo surgeries and reccurent miscariages ect hope he can help.
Once upon a time I never dreamed I myself would need such help!
Good luck girlies :-),xox

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception Nov - Dec 2013
Miss.B, sorry I missed your post yesterday. I don't know if it helps, but even with my fresh IVF (DD), I was only on progesterone until 6wks. I know most women stay on it until 10-12 weeks, but my progesterone levels were high, so my FS believed there was no need to continue. Whilst there's certainly an inconvenience to using crinone, there's no harm in having extra progesterone.
Sarah, GL with the new FS! That was what finally gave us success with IVF - after 2 years with our first FS and nothing but BFNs (aside from one natural conception, which was a chem pg), we changed to our second one. Our second FS did my first lap, diagnosed and treated my endo and then did just 1 IVF to give us DD. It was less than 4 months from the first appt to the BFP.
Thank you so much to all of you for your messages yesterday. It all feels so unreal that, by the end of the day, I was wondering if I had imagined it all (including everyone's messages). It still feels unreal... Not sure how I'm going to hold it together at work today - I keep crying...
For those who like to see HPTs, one last pic: http://i350.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps2214ec62.jpg
I think there's a PG after LTTTC group, isn't there? I think maybe I should take my "freak out" over there rather than risk upsetting anyone here who might be having a bad day. I'll keep checking in here and doing the list for now though, at least until I get some b/t run (hopefully later this week)...

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception Nov - Dec 2013
Ok Ladies hope this isn't too much info.......just been to the loo and wiped down there and toilet paper was a pinky colour did this 3 times and each time the same, this did happen last night but I dismissed it.
Has this happened to anyone? is this what they call implantation bleeding? if not what could it be? bt as you know isn't till Friday
-
Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception Nov - Dec 2013
Positively, I had the same after my IVF that gave us DD. I had pink when I wiped at 14dpo (12dp2dt) and brown the next day. I thought it was the start of AF (hadn't POAS), so was shocked when the b/t at 16dpo was BFP!

I'm only 10dpo so could it be the same thing so much earlier? hoping and praying it is x

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception Nov - Dec 2013
If it stays pink (or goes brown) there's a chance... Mine was quite late for implantation bleeding...
-
Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception Nov - Dec 2013
B/t results (12dpo): hcg 29, progesterone 53. I think those are okay?
-
Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception Nov - Dec 2013
Looks pretty good to me Juniper :) I keep thinking about you and how excited you must be!!!!! :happydance: go little one go!!!!!
Positively, I would take that as a good sign since it's no where near when you should get your AF. I keep waiting for some sort of spotting, that would be re assuring! lol
-
Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception Nov - Dec 2013
Sounds good, Juniper!:goodluck:
Positively, that is a promising sign. Keeping fingers tightly crossed for you.:crossfingers:
AFM, might be doing a freeze all stim cycle starting in the next few days. Bit of a change of plans. The idea would be to get a few more embryos while we can, and then do the lap (which would mean no more IVF), and then do transfers after that. It's a bit out of left field, and tbh I didn't think it was legal, actually. I am sure there are ethical issues too. Obviously. Anyhow will be thinking it over in next few days.
