Miss B - I am with you. Unfortunately we need to put on blinkers or something just to get on with things. 2 pregnancy announcements this week sent me into a spiral. Just got keep swimming!

    Juniper- I'm cd1 today. Thank you x

Well that's it. No freebie for us. FET cycle begins...... And Transfer looks like the 1st (when they are closed) is it ok to delay transfer a day???

Thanks rai & Williever. My SIL has excellent timing, but it just really hurts especially as she is not planning to stay with my brother, so why get pg?? Anyhoo, she hd my parents as babysitters pretty much around the clock, good luck to her when she is on her own with 2 under 4.

Anyway, good luck ladies with your cycles. It's a BFN for me today

    Hey guys, how is everyone?

MissB, I am really sorry you're feeling down. It is so hard. It is so crap about your SIL and your bro. It is very hard to take when people make really selfish and irresponsible choices around having kids. It hurts that others actually seem to have a choice, whereas with infertility, you have so few choices. You can't say "oh I'm going to have three kids" or whatever. Plus what a completely narcissistic for her thing to do. Oh God. It is hard not to judge. Sorry. Anyway, I think what Williever says about putting blinkers on is not a bad idea!

Rai, thanks yeah I didn't even end up having that conversation. I just let it go. Sometimes it's not all about me. Sometimes! I have started to really try to let go of what others think or trying to imagine what they're thinking. A bit of distance can be good too. Sorry to hear you are getting p***ed off. I get that. Just get so over it sometimes.

Mrs O'M and Kel, wishing all the very best of luck. Hoping for two Christmas miracles.

Williever, what will happen with your transfer? Will they just grow the embies a day longer?

AFM, doing a another scan on Monday, and then probably trigger Mon/Tues for pick Wed/Thurs. Feeling a bit sort of edgy and kind of overly energised from the estrogen. I have to say, a freeze all cycle is much more relaxing. Or my nerves haven't kicked in yet. It's early days still.

Worrywart- I'm not even sure what will happen. It's a frostie so will it matter? I'm a bit worried. Cycle was 2 days early so that's a pain!

It appears I am/ have ovulated lets hope DH hit the mark it's funny how for yrs I have missed this particular sign but now realise it only happens roughly at that time of month!! We still haven't decided about what to do with our icicles we have to pay for a further 6 months in January I am leaning towards having a natural FET but should probably have a chat with FS first

Juniper I am so heart broken for you! This schinizzle sucks!!!

    Hi Ladies,

Sorry I have again been MIA this time of year is just a bit crazy which i guess is good cause it's distracting me from reality

Miss B & Rai so sorry you both got BFN that just sucks

To all the lovely ladies in the TWW GL I am thinking of you all and sending loads of love and babydust

AFM - Had an appt with the FS yesterday we can do a FET cycle as of early Feb 2014, have to take a 2 month break before we can start which makes perfect sense. Apparently my Estrogen levels were a bit low during the IVF cycle and he wants to see that higher so will be changing drug protocol for next one and doing a few other tweeks......saying that i hope the FET cycle works and we don't need to do another IVF cycle. So I am taking a nice long break then going to try to be a good girl and not go over board with eating & drinking this silly season but that is always easier said than done! Another Xmas function this evening this is the 4th now so I am a bit over it.....i must be getting old! lol

Take care Ladies, love & babdy dust to you all x

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception Nov - Dec 2013

    Hi everyone
I hope I am posting in the right thread.
I'm a bit worried at the moment and need some hope
To give you a quick rundown of my history- I just had my 9th & 10th embryos transferred 2 weeks ago tomorrow. (First double transfer). I got a positive hpt from last Sunday (8dp3dt) pretty light but did get darker as days went on. I always used FMU or late at night after holding on.
So I've been having symptoms this week- sore boobs & slight nausea all day.
Today was my beta. 13dp3dt, so was a day early. It was only 44. My progesterone was 176.
The nurse said it is low, but may be ok.
I did just do a hpt (as I haven't tested in about 3 days) and it was lighter. It was afternoon urine and had been about an hour or so before. There is def a line there, but no where near the darkness I would've expected.
So I'm thinking if I tested + last Sunday I should've had a descent hcg by now?
I go back to have another test Monday but I am so so worried.
    Thanks for listening!

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception Nov - Dec 2013

Thanks Juniper. I hope not too.
I also thought maybe they both implanted initially but now maybe just the one? Oh I don't know. Trying to think of anything really.
Hope you are feeling ok after your loss- I am all too familiar with it - I had a really positive outlook going into this one and now I feel so so negative!
    This IVF business is tough!
    Thanks
    K
