Welcome Jemel & Penny hope you guys are moving onto the pregnancy threads before you know it :)
Keen - How are you doing? that you guys have some good news soon
I've still got my fingers crossed for all those blood tests to come back positive - goodluck girls!
Hi to everyone i missed, i've been super busy lately and i'm finding it hard to keep up with everyone at the moment. Nothing happening here, just waiting for our appointment - i'm counting down the weeks!
-
I think it's all over. :crying: I have been having AF cramps since yesterday afternoon and they were so bad overnight I barely slept. I have had spotting but I wouldn't call it AF as it's only when I go to the loo and not on the pad. I don't know what to think but I feel like crap today. I'm just thankful that it's a holiday here today and I don't have to be at work.
Will be back later for personals girls when I am hopefully feeling a bit better.
-
Megan,
when's your BT hunny? Any way your clinic may bring it up to today?
-
 Oh Megan - I agree with Sushee, can they bring your test forward at all? I'd give them a call and find out, I hope you are feeling better
-
Megan, hang in there pet. Symptoms or lack thereof can be very deceptive and the BT is the only way you will know for sure. I really feel for you.
Jane - you too. Hope tomorrow brings good news.
Penny - welcome and I hope you have a short stay. I had AI too but for different reasons. There are some people in here who have MF infertility so I hope they can give you some insight and advice. As TwoMums has said, this is a great place to come for support.
Keep plugging away ladies. You all deserve a break.
-
Thanks girls. Due to the Cup being on today I couldn't get on to anyone at the clinic apart from one hour this afternoon (during which I was asleep!) so I will call in the morning and see if I can go in for an early BT. At the moment I am booked in for a Friday BT. Even a day earlier will help save my sanity I think.
The cramping has eased up a bit but the bleeding is now a bit heavier. :( It has only been 10 days since transfer....could this be a low progesterone problem??
I have to say, my DH has been wonderful. I would probably be completely lost at the moment without him. :)
Jane, all the best with your BTtomorrow! :) I will be thinking of you and have everything crossed!!
-
Thanks Megan. Sorry to hear things are still lousy for you, I have been thinking of and keeping everything crossed.
Well only one more sleep for me. Will be back online tomorrow with the news, sounds stragne but my tww has gone rather quickly, it's all a bit surreal really.
-
Jano.. I am so nervous and excited for you and DH... it almost feels like it is me waiting for those results... i have everything crossed for you!!! Keep us updated..
love leis xx
-
good luck with your bt Jane, i too have everything that can be crossed crossed, we are all thinking of you:hug:
-
Jane, WoOOooHooOOoo your BT is today! GL hunny!
Megan, how are things? Did you manage to get an earlier BT?
-
ok, after much preparation for the worst over the weekend and much freaking out over cramping etc I just had my call from the clinic and it's a :bfp:
I am totally in shock as is DH. I started to get suss when I started to get bad nausea yesterday and kept wanting to faint and or eat sausage rolls LOL
Thanks so much for all you support, it has been much appreciated.
Hopefully little bub will stick in there, my levels were good 355, better than last time when I miscarried that's for sure.
Now I better go and do a formal announcement.
Thanks again:grouphug:

Thanks Melbo. I managed to get a BT done this morning and am now waiting for the dreaded phone call. I am not optimistic at all and decided to come home from work because even though I am expecting a negative, i don't want to break down at work.
So, now I wait.....

OMG, OMG CONGRATULATIONS Jane
I just knew it well done hony.
Ive been couch bound with gastro for the last two days which has been really bad as i havent been able to finish the antibiotics i was given after EPU. oh well will finish them now.
Megan im holding out every hope for you and a BFP hang in there.
Welcome to the new girls and hi to all will bbl for personals xx
-
My BT came back inconclusive. :( She said there is some pregnancy hormone there which shows that the embryo more than likely implanted (or at least partially). I have to pick up some extra Crinone (as I will run out on Saturday) and have another BT on Monday. I can't believe I have to wait that long! The bleeding has eased again (seems to come and go) and if it gets heavy again tomorrow I can go back in on Friday.
So, more waiting!
-
oh bugger Megan, try hang in there, waiting is the worst part isn't it.
I think Melbo had to go back for another test after her first, so fingers crossed all goes well for you on Monday
-
Good luck Megan i hope all goes well for you and that it is a late implant
-
Hi again girls,
Megan, Jane is right. I had an inconclusive first BT (a low hcG of 79 I think). By the time they retested on Friday, the level had doubled so it was considered a positive. Hang in there for that next test although Monday must seem so far away at the moment. I hope that bleeding stays away now that it has eased off.
(pulls up deckchair next to Megan)

Hi everyone. Can anyone give any advice, im pretty much resigned to the fact my ICSI didnt work. I had bright red blood today, i had ET on Saturday 28th October, my BT is on 15th November, so a week today. I was on Pregnyl which i know gives a positive for a while, so i waited and tested today, and unlike last week, it didnt have 2 pink lines, it only has 1 now, so obviously pregnyl is out of my system and i am not pregnant right? I had blood thismorning and nothing since, but that happens when im getting AF, it does that then stops till later on tonight or starts tomorrow morning. I did another test thisafternoon, it says to test anytime of the day, the test i did was a digital one and came up "not pregnant" So i think its fairly correct to assume im not? Any advice would be great, im going to stay positive, i really want to lose some weight, which is what we decided if this cycle didnt work, and then we will try again in Feb, after xmas when we are all fit and healthy.
-
Megan.. everything crossed for you hun... With Jano pregnant, it has to rub off onto you... all the best and heaps and heaps of sticky vibes.. leis xx
-
Sorry Jem hun, but i don't have any answers to your questions... but i am praying and hoping you get a BFP.... so to Megan, I hope you guys can follow in Janos footsteps.. love leis xx
-
Megan,
my HCG level was even less at 74. Did you find out what your levels were?
jemel, it's not over until it's over. Unfortunately I've seen all sorts of things happen so you just never know. Good luck and hopefully this will be just a funny memory when you're heavily pg!
-
Well i just spoke to the Gyn covering my Gyn while she is away and i have kinda lost all hope. He said that i proberly have an infection that antibiotics wont get to anyway as its deep in my blocked tube. and it was just stired up with the EPU. Am having some pain today but dont know wether that is from the gastro but its lower down like af pain and i guess i am due for that too.
Y wont this just work for us.
Just sitting here crying .........................
-
Aw Lou, sounds like you're having such a rough trot of it. It's just not fair, and even worse that you're having to bear the pain of it both emotionally and physically. What are they going to do about your infection?
