JCM, Bec is right, probably the earliest you will detect HCG with super sensitive HPT is 10dpt (of a blastocyst). Also urine is a pretty bad detector of early HCG, blood is much better. Don't give up!

Glad you found the thread Hayley, great result and good luck!

jbm, don't lose hope. sunday is a long way off still. i know we are only new to this but i find it helpful not to think too far ahead, to look at the next goal and focus on that without worrying too much about what's down the track because as well all know, no matter what you think is going to happen, it never does turn out that way! and hubby may feel differently in a few weeks or months. i'm not sure what the emoticon hug is but i'm sending you one, plus some super sticking power.

bec d , kaydee 78, sara 69 and kahlan thanks for the welcomes and votes of confidence.

We just rang the clinic, out of the 11 googley-eggs collected, 8 were mature and fertilised. We have to go to blasto stage and we had ICSI done. I'm 27, dh is 28 (only by a month). I have PCOS but am good otherwise and he has boys that as our specialist put it "are happy sitting around on the sunlounge drinking ****tails''. lol.

as this is our first cycle our real main goal is to get some embryos to day 5. If by a miracle we get pregs that would be the absolute icing on the cake. but i'm really am just going to make friday/sat our party day - if we have any eggies that is! we have a saturday transfer then i hav two horrendously busy weeks at work while i'm relieving my boss so i think the Dec 1 BT will suddenly arrive on my doorstop without too much dillydallying around.

ps found the emoticons. lol. those are for all.

Hayley, congrats with the great EPU and 8 embies, fingers crossed they power along growing to blastie, does that make your ET Fri? And the 1st seems just around the corner already

Dusty, hope you are holding up ok in the TWW, we are all praying for you

JBM, it is way to early to test, though I too can never resist, hang in there, sending you lots of baby dust and sticky vibes

Mrs M, not too long to go now til you see the Dr, hope time is speeding by

BecD, how are you going with this FET cycle, does that make ET end of next week? Hope you are well

Kaydee, bring on the LH surge!

Sara, hope all is going well with your cycle, how exciting, grow follies grow

Wouldloveabubba, sending you lots of positive vibes for your IUI this cycle

21, looks like there will be plenty of us kicking off Jan 09 with a bang (or rather an O), fingers crossed for you and all of us

KellyD, good luck in the TWW, we will be praying for you

Buliej, I hope you are ok, our thoughts are with you and we are here if you need us

Possums, you are sounding much more positive, I hope you are having a relaxing break, praying for a natural BFP for you, and if not, Jan 09 is just around the corner

AFM, my temps say I have ovulated, YAY, 10dpo today, just because I am crazy with hope and you never know your luck, I will POAS tomorrow morning, if by some wild streak of fate I got a BFP, well it can happen, what a dream come true that would be! If not, at least my cycle length will be a respectable length this month, only 31 days (much better than my last natural cycle post stim cycle of 44 days, yuk).

If all goes to plan AF will arrive on Sat, I start the pill on Sun for min 28 days, wait for AF again, start stims Xmas day (HOHOHO), EPU 7 Jan, ET 12 Jan and BT 23 Jan. OMG, control freak or what? LOL. So now just praying all goes to plan, how exciting!!

Hope you are all having a great week, sorry if I have missed anyone, sending you all positive vibes! Hugs, xx

    Hi girls...

Baby Dreamtime, I love the bit about being a control freak!! I think that's something we can all relate to when we live"cycle to cycle". I know I like to know what's going to happen, and when! Here's hoping it's all not needed and your test tomorrow brings a little miracle!!

Hayley, congrats on those eggies! Fingers crossed they behave themselves and keep growing!

Good luck to those girls in the tww. I know it's awful having to wait and wait...but sadly I'm looking forward to getting to the tww this cycle! Maybe that's the control freak coming out in me because I don't know what's going on in my body - today I am cd 17 and still no sign of LH surge. Back for another BT tomorrow.

    LH surge, where are you?????????

good luck Babydreamtime - I hope you get your BFP!

jbm - i'm no expert, but as everyone here has said, it's very early to get a result from a HPT - I think the tests themselves tell you they only start to get results at most 2 days before AF is expected which is usually right before your BT - it is way too early to draw any conclusions

grub17 - those are good numbers

everyone else - I'm thinking positive thoughts and tons of

All you lovely ladies I am so sorry to see you are still in here. Have had an extended break as my 10 weeks of working full time ended up being 6 months. In that time we had our lovey holiday to day dream island, but my dad also passed away. DH has asked me to start the treatment again and will probably look at starting again after christmas so I may see you all in here again, but hopefully you will all be gone by the time I get started.

hi all, i'm so happy atm but can't find my hubby on the phone. so you guys are the first to know... well i did tell the dog but she wasn't that impressed.

just rang the clinic and all of our 8 embies are doing well. we have three two cells; one three cell and four four-cell embies in the googley egg cooker! yay. i'm so relieved because i was paranoid we would have no growers.

the embroyologist said going on that growth rate a saturday transfer was a definite goer. phew. so i ring back tomoz to get the new numbers and some more details.

i know this may sound strange, but having never ever been pregnant (at least to my knowledge), just the thought of a little joint dh and me making cells is really exciting. it can be done! lol.

how did your poas go dreamtime? was it this morn?

sending these to all and to my babies:

Morning lovely ladies, just a quick one as have to run off to a meeting.

My POAS this morning was a BFN, for one small moment it looked like a second very very faint line, but I am kidding myself. I am 11dpo today, using Lullaby Conceptions 10iu so if there was HCG there, it would have shown up. Oh well, trying to think positive that at least we are so lucky to have IVF as a chance. So now hope AF comes quick so I can start pill popping and get into the next cycle.

Hayley, great news re your embies, hope they progress wonderfully, grow embies grow, and great to have all 8 powering along!

Saph, welcome back, hope your time back in here is very short

Buliej, hope you are doing ok today

    Kaydee, anything yet?

JBM, what will power you have to wait until Sunday, hope it is so worth it with a fabulous BFP

Mrs M, good luck with your bloods on Friday, not long now

Gotta run ladies, have a great day, hugs xx

21andTTC#1: I know it is frustrating never knowing how long a cycle is going to be, I have PCOS so it is always happening to me, but hang in there it will sort itself out soon enough.

BecD: Hope this last attempt works for you.

    Smithy: CONGRADULATIONS on your BFP

Saph 204: Hoping all is well and that you have better luck after your break.

Kahlan, Spring, Wouldloveabubba, Mrs P Hope everything is working out for you all

If I have missed anyone I am sorry but like I said before it has been a while since I was here.

AFM: Had and internal US with FS today she said my lining was looking really good, and I have a 17mm follicle in my left ovary and another follicle in my right ovary that was a little smaller, so anyway she was happy with that so I am now going to trigger tonight with Pregnyl 5000 again then another BT on Monday and Booster Pregnyl 1500 shots next tuesday and Friday so it means DP and I have to BD like crazy over the next few days. FS also said there was a possiblity of Twins which I really wouldn't mind but I will also be just as happy if we managed to get one so fingers crossed and this is the cycle for us.

    Hi everyone!

WOW there are so many newbies!
just an update, my DP got his bloodwork back and everything is wonderful! perfect thyroid and testosterone and a few other things, so its just the stupid sperm! I pretty much begged the doc for a fertility specialist but he insists they will just refer us toa urologist because of DP problems but doesnt the FS deal with that? I dont get it! anyway I guess we will go and exhaust every option with the urologist first and will give us time ti save for IVF/ICSI! good luck all!

    Hi Ladies,
I haven't been around for a while but I'm back on board now and keen to keep up with this thread as best I can. Just a few shout outs:
Smithy - woo hoo! Congrats on your BFP.
JBM - hope you are staying sane sister, or at least not too nutty! Not long now till testing. : )
Babydreamtime - good luck with your BD! Swim little ones!
Sara - hi! all the best with the FSH. I didn't find it too bad so I hope you go well with it.
Grub - yeah, I loved the growing embryo bit - I felt so proud and chuffed with myself! We only got two Day 5ers in the end - one back in and one in the freezer, but still.

AFM - we are expecting AF to arrive tomorrow or in the next few days when I will be starting prognova (sp) for a medicated FET in mid December. Our biggest hurrdle is telling the family that the previous cycle (our first) in October didn't work...

    Big hugs to you all,

hi girls - just popping my head in. I've been in the TWW thread - until today - AF has arrived. I'm feeling very sad and upset at the moment.

I'll catch up on personals next time. Hope you're all doing well. I'll be hoping to do a 2 x embie FET in December and looking forward to sharing the next leg of the journey with you all.

    Hi everyone,

Mrs M, hope you have a great undie party, sounds fun. GL for your BT tomorrow

Kaydee, how frustrating , hope your BT on Friday gets you closer

Ruth, glad to see you back, sometimes a time out is good. I am hoping AF arrives tomorrow too so I can start on the pill for a stim cycle in Jan. Bring it on Jan. I know how hard it is to tell the family. My first few cycles I told absolutly everyone, friends, work, event the check out chick at my local Coles. But 12 months down the track and no luck it has been really hard to answer their questions. This time round only DH parents and my partent will no, no one else. I hope your family support you, as hard as it is telling them, at least they can support you in your grief. GLwith you Dec FET, this is the one for you. Bring on Dec for you!

21, good news re DH's test, and good luck with the urologist

Wishingbaby, hope your trigger went well, good news on the follies, have fun BD, hope it brings a BFP

Sara, good news re you BT and GL starting FSH tomorrow

AFM, didn't POAS this morning, holding no hope, but very happy as expecting AF tomorrow making it a 30 day cycle (so much better than the last 44 day cycle). Which means I can start stims 2 weeks earlier than I had originally hoped. YAY.

Just hanging in there, trying to remain positive. Sending you lots of positive vibes. Hugs
