Hi ladies, I haven't been in for awhile but do know a few of you either from my last times in here or other threads.
Brief history for me is that I have been lucky to fall pg 5 times in the past 4 yrs ( all but one with AC) but sadly, only one pg resulted in our only gorgeous child. This year has ben the toughest, doing back to back OI/IUI's, falling pg twice with twins, only to lose them and go through the next few mths recovering.
This cycle is my "no regrets" cycle and we are throwing everything at it to try and avoid another traumatic loss. I am 5 days into an antagonist IVF/PGD cycle with a concoction of extra meds on top.
So feeling a bit "off" wit it all but goodness knows which drug is the culprit!

Sorry about the porr personals but still trying to get to know you all

JBM - very sorry about your BFN this time. Praying you can squeeze one more FET in this year

Sunflowers - Yay at a BFP!! Hoping your pregnancy journey is far less of a turmoil than that which brought ou there!

BecD - I know you were in here the last time I was around. Praying you can get out soon..... enough time in this thread girl- time to move over to pg thread!!!

Hi everyone. It's been a few days since I last popped in.

Congrats to Sunflowers. Best wishes for a H & H PG.

Sorry JBM this time didn't work. Fingers crossed for a sneaky FET before xmas.

Saph, it's so frustrating trying to see a FS who is so heavily booked. I have also made a follow up appt with our FS in case the next few FET don't work. Our appt is in early Feb. It seems so far away but once you get past xmas and new years, it will go quickly.

Meredith, best wishes for your cycle. Sounds like you're drugged up!!

Good luck to everyone else, hope you're all travelling along well. Well I thought the clinic was going to cancel my FET cycle. I have been BT every 2nd day for the last 12 days. Today was to be my last BT and if there was no movement in my eostrogen, my FET would be cancelled and I'd have to wait until next month. Today is now cd22 and I finally have hormones behaving themselves. Tomorrow I'm in for an U/S and yet another BT to check everything is still on track. Fingers & toes crossed!

hi all, just letting you know, called clinic yesterday and we spoke about the fact that my stupid body wants to ov later in month. which means i am getting af 12 days after ov. so they don't want to book me in for another FET in december?!
    drats
but they have asked the fs to review me and they said they call me back today to see if fs wants to see me and discuss our plan.

    it's so frustrating !!!!!

hi ladies...back from a wonderful, relaxing week off (just what we needed!)....don't think we've had a natural miracle this month...no AF yet, but no pregnancy symptoms and negative HPT and am now, by my calculations 14DPO..ah well, we'll try again in december and then back to IVF...

hope you are all doing OK...

JBM- sorry you are feeling so yuk, I know how frustrating things can be

kaydee- good luck with the ultrasound etc

will catch up with everyone's news from here

Hi there, I am just wondering if one of you lovely ladies can help with a few questions I have. My brother and SIL have just had their first ivf cycle which resulted in a bfn and they have just been told that the eggies didn't fertilise. They have an appointment at the weekend to see what course of action is next. I don't understand why the clinic would've done an embie transfer if there was no embryo in the first place - is this normal? Also, could this be a one-off occurence, fertilisation not taking place? And if there is something more sinister wrong and there is some egg-sperm problem, what other options do they have? They have been trying for so so long, things in NZ seem to take forever and I am just so gutted for them that things are turning out like this. We have been ttc for 3 1/2 years naturally which has been trying enough and I just cannot fathom how they must be feeling right now. Anyhoo, thanks for listening to my little rant - any ideas or pearls of wisdom anyone?
