AFM - I am still jabbing and sniffing at the moment. I'm a bit bloated and its only been 4 days, I'm interested to see how bloated I will get lol. I will be having my BT and Scan this Friday. I'm hoping they will then tell me when EPU will be.

the butterflies are back again i wrote out my Q's to ask and what pills i am on
my daughter kellie made it safe to ACT finely got hold of her last night on the phone i was sooooooo happy to talk to her
have to do another scan on thur just to make sure i'm doing a good job this time and fs is going to give me some injections this time to help my projesterone levels. ouch
also got my wisdom tooth out on thur so ouch.
next 2 days i'm off to other end of state to see my sis, so a busy week for me

Yay!!! Transfer day arrived and it was good news when i got to the clinic. I had 4 superstar blasties, actually the scientist called them "awesome" and insists that she doesn't use that word often. So we transferred just the one (i will come back to that part later) and the other 3 will be frozen. Also there were another 6 or so that still looked good and they will wait another day and check. So i could possibly have more to freeze.
So back to the do we transfer 1 or 2 debate. Well after all the advice i received over the weekend i had made peace with the idea of transferring just the 1 if the quality was great. When i got there, the head nurse was adamant that i didn't even meet their protocol for 2 and the scientist also put her opinion in that as all blasties were fantastic it would be risky to put 2 in. My FS actually said to me that if i twist his arm hard enough he would do the 2. So i had a dilemma on my hands. In the end, while iwas sitting in the room i had this overwhelming feeling that there was no doubt this cycle was going to be my success story so i opted for just the 1.
So ladies, i would like to announce that as of today i am officially pregnant unless proven otherwise!!!!!
Molly - great news!! 4 "super" blasties and maybe more in the freezer. Hopefully you'll be able to save them all for your subsequent children because, as you said, you are pg girl!!
JBM and mels77 - best of luck for your upcoming FET. Happy xmax pressies for all of us this yr i say!
AFM - got the call today to say we have 14 embies from our 21 eggies so very happy with that given I thought there would actually be a lot more eggs that were to immature.
Will find out tomorrow how many are suitable for the PGD testing and then if all goes well, will prob have ET on Wed

AFM, Fs rang me yesterday and gave me the go ahead without seeing him, so we are all go when we get back from our christmas holiday, couldn't quite squeeze a cycle in before than. I am going to be on higher dose of puregon (hopefully wont be injecting for 28 days before trigger) and doing IUI. Said I would never go past OI but after losing my dad suddenly and having to rely on my brother ( DH was wonderful but my brother and I were going through the same emotions) I realised that it was so imnportant for Campbell to have a brother or sister.( Hopefully a sister) So it is full steam ahead through whatever gives us that baby. Just lucky I have you wonderful ladies to keep me sane. Must go to work now, rats.

afm- nothing much to report...just cruising along waiting really. Feel pretty flat and down to be honest, but trying really hard to get into the xmas spirit and perk up a bit!
possums - hope you're doing ok. i find the Xmas spirit is a bit hard to channel when you're TTC...!
saph - glad to hear your getting on after xmas

AFM, had a scan today and everything is coming along well. I'm having another scan on Friday and looks like my FET will be early next week - yippee!!! Also having acu tomorrow and going to fit in some sessions around the FET to try and make everything perfect for the embies.
Sarah, glad to see you are keeping well and looking forward to your FS appointment, you sound very organised, hope you get all the answers you are looking for

AFM, I am soooo excited, I have a plan and am lucky they have fiddled with the dates which means I can start on stims about a week earlier than planned, now on the 20th Dec. They were worried I would be injecting over Xmas, but as I have banned alcohol anyway it didn't make a difference, so off I go. EPU is scheduled for 2nd Jan!!!!! Woohoo, so I am right back into it for 2009.
To anyone I have missed, where ever you are in your cycle, thinking of you and sending lots of positive vibes, crossed fingers, hugs and prayers. xx
