I had adhesions on my utero-sacral ligaments (they are either side of the bowel and go down to the tailbone). **TMI** Extreme pain in my back passage at both ovulation and period time or if I was constipated. Just like sitting on a sharp knife. Anyway, they did a 3 hour lap almost 10 years ago and I don't have that pain anymore. Tam - I know exactly what you mean about getting too emotionally attached. I've tried just about every psychological method to protect my heart - failure hurts no matter how you've prepared yourself. So, this is the first time I've decided to give them fun names. It's out of my hands now! Hope you're on the mend
