Oh dear!! A trigger in the cinema!! Very Abe Lincoln.
Thanks for all the name suggestions. The judging panel have decided on Sonny and Cher. I can identify with Cher - the 60's version, not the current one. And, no, there won't be any skiing
    Hope you're all doing well.
    Love
    Sue

    Hello Dear Ladies,

Chele - I'm so sorry about how you are feeling at the moment. Having a close friend/relative announce a pg at a time like this can't have helped. I wish you all the best though for this week and hope things go well.

Sue - I'll say it again ... wonderful news about those two embryos. You take care of yourself.

Shez - Great news for you too and I hope your OPU goes well. Here's to sky-high fertilisation rates and lots of lovely embies!

Cazz - Good luck for your OPU too! Hope the on fire feelings have abated a bit. Hoping for lots of wonderful embies out of this lot for you.

Trish - hugs to you my sweet and best of luck for your cycle. You too Keen.

There are so many in this forum at the moment. I try to log in and read every day to keep up. Apologies for anyone I have missed. Thinking of all of you.

    Love,

    Mel

Hi to everyone, I'm back again after a bit of an ordeal last week, and also having a family trip on the weekend.

Thanks for the thought for my beta lest last week but it wasn't to be this time. The long version is in the LT AC forum (I officially make it there now) but a shorter one is:
I actually got pg from both of my last HRT FET. The first must have been a late implanter! Though that little one also implanted in the wrong spot, it was an ectopic pg. And I also had a sac in my uterus.
After a couple of days of waiting, I had a lap to remove the ectopic pg and also a natural m/c of the other pg.

Getting by now & carrying on with the healing (physical & emotional). I think still in amazement of it all, but very happy that there was success in falling pg. We will be having a break & starting back in the new year.

Sorry I can't do much on the personals, hope to catch up from now.
Even though on a break, still hope to be around to keep hoping for all you guys.

Amanda, big congrats to you, hope you pull along a few people with you.

Sue, naming is cute, I've never done it myself, probably trying not to get too close emotionally.

Best wishes to all in your different stages, take care

Leis, I had ovarian adhesions at my previous laps for my endo. Adhesions are like cob webs/gum stretching around in there, sometimes making things go in wrong spots. I had my ovary in a spot where it isn't supposed to be as well as adhesions wrapped arround my tube. They remove them & everything will eventually go back to where it's supposed to be.
I hope that explains it ok. And hope it all goes well. Keep positive.

Hi Leis, ditto to everything Tam said. I had adhesions on my utero-sacral ligaments (they are either side of the bowel and go down to the tailbone). **TMI** Extreme pain in my back passage at both ovulation and period time or if I was constipated. Just like sitting on a sharp knife. Anyway, they did a 3 hour lap almost 10 years ago and I don't have that pain anymore. I'm sure I still have some, but, adhesions shouldn't interfere with your ability to conceive. Particularly with ART. Good luck with the op and try not to get too far ahead of yourself [-X
Tam - I know exactly what you mean about getting too emotionally attached. I've tried just about every psychological method to protect my heart - failure hurts no matter how you've prepared yourself. So, this is the first time I've decided to give them fun names. It's out of my hands now! Hope you're on the mend
