Good luck to everyone have some catching up to do with everyone X
Hi Blossom! I'll add you to the list when I get home!!!
I've been a bit down since my ultrasound yesterday morning, so I'm just trying to gather my thoughts and force myself into remembering that this is only my first OI cycle! I think the hardest part is that being a nurse, I've gone through all my text books and been reading so much research about this process and now I'm not too sure how it is going to go for me... I feel so lucky that I have all you wonderful women in here to be able to get advice from and vent too, without you all I think I would be going crazy!!!
I'm a bit nervous about Wednesdays ultrasound because I really don't want this cycle to be cancelled, especially when the dosage of medication isn't really doing what we need it to be doing... Ive been wondering if maybe there are some other medications I should be taking as well as my Puregon... I already am taking folic acid, vitamin d and a multi vitamin every morning... I think I'll talk to my nurse on Wednesday and I'm hoping my FS will come to my appointment as well so I can just get a proper run down of what he thinks is happening and where we go from here...
I've also been reading a lot about IUI... I'm thinking that maybe DH and I should be looking at that too to increase our chances of a BFP happening sooner rather than later... What do you ladies think??? Am I over thinking things????
xxx
Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception Oct #2 2012
Hi jo me n hubby have been doing iui for the past 4 month, not this month though due to ohss risk . It hasnt worked for us as yet but it may work for you.anythings worth a shot if you have been ttc as long as us right?the only reason we havent started ivf is that we cant afford it as yet.otherwise we would have gone straight to that rather than iui.gd luck with ur decision

I was naughty. I tested this morning and for the first time ever... two lines!
I'm in shock, I honestly didn't expect it.
Tested again this afternoon and the second line is even darker. I'm pregnant!!!
Got Their BFP in November
Nire - BFP on HPT!!!
Murraycod - Surprise natural BFP!!!
Vic261 - Faint second line on HPT @12dpo!!, confirmed by beta at 14dpo 166.8!!!
(I'll leave our long-awaited October BFPs here a little longer)

Big congrats Nire x
The ppet is an injection of HCG into the uterus at the time of transfer.
I copied the following about filgrastim .....
Neupogen (filgrastim) is a drug that causes the body to generate neutrophils, a type of white blood cell which plays an important role in the immune system. Our clinic has investigated its use in fertility treatment as a solution to certain immunologic causes of multiple miscarriages. It has often proven successful when other options have failed. You may benefit from using Neupogen if you have experienced recurrent miscarriages after failed IVIG or LIT and if you meet specific criteria for treatment. The drug is also useful in many cases for the purpose of improving egg quality or improving the tissues of the uterine lining. Our clinic has the largest number of patients in the country that have been treated with Neupogen for failure to initiate and complete a pregnancy. It is critical that your treating physician has vast experience with the use of this drug for fertility.
G-CSF(neupogen) is a cell-signaling protein molecule that can assist with maintaining the immune system in a "resting" state so it will not attack the embryo, it may increases the number of good quality eggs during an in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycle, increase the number of uterine natural killer cells(which assist in embryo attachment), increase embryo cell division, endometrial cell division and may even reduce inlammatory cytokine production... Patients with recurrent pregnancy loss that have been treated with G-CSF have shown higher pregnancy rates with no evidence to date of complications to mother or baby. You may be a candidate if you've experienced:
Recurrent miscarriages that have failed IVIG, LIT and meet immunologic criteria for treatment; or
Repeat failed IVF cycles with quality embryos (must also meet certain immunologic criteria)

Hi ladies hope you have all had a good weekend.
My DH commented on Friday night that I am snappy and moody, great the drugs have turned me into a cow already :-(
I have been conscious to try and not be like that especially today cause it is our first wedding anniversary. I think I have been good considering I had a christening to go to with babies everywhere !!!!
Hope you all are traveling well and have a good week xo
