Kerbear: Congrats on your first wedding anniversary!! Hugs for you - functions with babies around you suck big time...

AFM : am quite excited about the transfer on Wednesday, but at the same time am worried I'd be too excited and would be so upset if it didn't work. I wish the transfers came with guarantees, that yes of course they will work with anyone straight away, but nothing like that is possible in real life is it... My sister in law just announced her pregnancy on facebook and so wished it was me She never even wanted children... grmbl. Anyhow enough of a whinge. Hope everyone will have a good day...

    Hi everyone,

Just had my blood test so I'll find out later today if I start jabbing tomorrow - I am freaked out but excited as things might start moving along a bit quicker now. I've been on Synarel for a month now and it feels like forever. Trying to focus on enjoying my first wedding anniversary rather than stressing out about the injections!

Curtsygirl - I find most of the meds mess with the colour of areolas and soreness of breasts and I always get excited thinking its cause maybe it was cause it worked, but it hasnt been the case yet :-(
I hope yours are changing cause you are pregnant :-)

N2L - I have been meaning to say oh my gosh, when you listed your protocol in detail I almost died, I give you so much credit for how you cope with it all, I struggle with mine and I don't know if I could do your protocol without losing the plot. I am sorry you have to go through so much and the cost as well xo

Reading everyone's stories and protocols makes me realise all the time that we are all here for each other and understand what we are all going through and can share openly on here.

Thanks for the info N2l sure sounds good and your protocole looks like a winner!! i have all my fingers and toes crossed for you :-)

    Hi everybody :-)
Im 3 DPO today its a wash of a cy though :-( not much hope! i had a massive row with DH after taking my puregon for 4 days and then i chucked it in and stoppped taking it! we made up later but it was a tuff few days and i didnt think we'd b TTC! but when he came from working away we made up and did plenty of DTD lol...
and ontop of it my birthday (dreaded 35!!) party was sat (1DPO) and lets just say i drank a wee bit ;-) ha! ive been too scared to drink like forever and i just partied my butt off for once! ...so over TTC ruling my life for no good reason, no baby comes!!
anyway today when i looked at my FF chart and saw my O Day I figured ah well ill still use my progesterone "just incase"
but wont hold my breath. I just want to do IVF but its not happening at this stage!
anyway id love a suprise ha! dont "NORMAL" people party and get preg by accident everyday?? lol...
and i just have to say i got the rudest shock when i was shopping the other day with DH's son and he goes guess what sarah, my mummy has a baby in her tummy"..... WTF?!! his ex was not even trying and i cannot say how the pitt of my tummy sank or how crazy jelous i felt at that moment!!

    Good Luck sweeties xoxoxo

    nire - congrats!

blossom - welcome back! best of luck with your end of year cycle, hope you are feeling ok after a few days of jabs. xx

kerbear - maybe you could inject dh with hormones and see if he gets moody too?! (just a suggestion... ). i suggested injecting my dh with clexane so he could feel what its like, the colour drained from his face and he asked if he could do it himself. he he. i was just joking, but his reaction was gave me a cheap giggle.

s4k - goodluck in the tww, hopefully the partying made the difference!

me4ever - best of luck for your transfer wednesday. xx

afm - scan today, looks like epu will be wed/thur this week. after being on the pill & synarel for so long, this last bit has happened quite quickly. quick question - anyone had to alter their puregon/gonal dose mid-cycle? i have been on 250, but after todays scan FS has dropped it down to 150 as there is a quite a bit going on in there & FS is trying to avoid OHSS. fair enough too, i dont want that again. just wondering what others experiences have been dropping the dose, did you end up with less eggs than you thought, how was egg quality etc? just worrying that the eggs might stall/drop away with reducing the dose...

Can I ask a question of the synarel sniffers in the thread? What is the longest you've had to sniff? You sniff up to trigger yeah??

What happens if your hormones aren't baseline at your blood test? Do you just keep sniffing until they are?

    Thanks

    Hi all,
Sorry about the list going up so late, I've had a day full of emotions...

s4k- I'm sure you haven't stuffed up hun! Don't worry, DH and I have been having moments like that a lot lately!!! In fact, almost daily, lol.

kerbear- OMG, I totally get the hormonal thing, it's totally like i'm on a roller coaster and it hasn't stopped for 14 days!!! I've been hoping it will be over soon, but not getting my hopes up with that... I keep thinking that if this is the only side effect I feel, then I'm a happy chappy!!! lol

faye- Happy Anniversary!!! Hope you and your DH have spent some quality time together and have really just relaxed!!!

me4ever- good luck and for your transfer! Thinking lots of positive thoughts for you!!!

curtsygirl- Thanks hun, i'm hoping there is some good change on wednesday, especially as I am getting up so early to go to my appointment! lol

AFM- I have really struggled today, not just with my ttc issues, but with life in general... I haven't been working for the last 8 weeks and financially that has put us in a tough spot... I stopped working so I could concentrate more on Uni and so I could find a job I enjoyed more, and now it is time for me to get out there and find something!!! I applied for some agencies today and I actually heard back from one- they are calling me back on Wednesday, so hopefully I get some work soon!!!
I am currently half way through a "6 week challenge" at my gym and this was actually my BEST week so far- I lost 1.2kg this week bringing my total for the challenge in kg to 2.3kg... My trainer is sending me my cm difference tomorrow so that is where i'm hoping to see better results!!!
Hope everyone is well and to all those in Melbourne- enjoy what is left of our long weekend! I'm gonna head to the gym to work out some frustrations!!!!
    xxxxx

Can I join in here? There doesn't seem to be much happening in the 12+ month thread but feeling the need to join somewhere, tho I don't think I really count as 'long term ttc". We've been trying on and off since may last year, counting it up it's been 13 months active trying. I've just got hold of some maca tabs to see if that helps so if AF shows this month I'll start taking them from cd1, currently cd27 and 11dpo (I think!)

Hope everyone gets that elusive bfp soon!
