i was exactly the same with my first injection, faye. cried and carried on, i think i just panicked. i wouldnt even let dh near me & ended up having to go down to the local gp and get them to do it. i am (or was) a needle phobe too. after 2 years & 5 stim cycles, i still cant do my jabs myself, although i have learnt to let dh do them for me now...
glad your first one is over, and dont worry about not doing them yourself - its just not normal to put a sharp, foreign object in to yourself, i cant even watch let alone do them myself.

Thanks Andie78, that makes me feel a bit better... Problem is DH is normally at work already by the time I need to do them so I might have to step up and do it myself but I don't know how i'll go with that. Time will tell I guess....
