    Good Morning all!!!

I just got back from my first ultrasound appointment since starting puregon and this chapter of our journey and just wanted to let you all know how it went... My lead follicle was only 5mm and the nurse said that it needs to be 18-20mm + so i'm not even close yet, but she was happy with how my lining is progressing... According to my FS, my lining usually thickens at the wrong time of my cycle, so the nurse was pleased to see it happening when it is supposed too... I have been on 33.3 IU of puregon daily and because there was no real follicle growth, my nurse and dr decided to increase my daily dose to 50 IU... Hopefully this will help with the growth and I have another ultrasound on Friday...

I have an exam on Thursday so at least I will be kept busy and have less time to think about all that is ahead... If i'm not here much this week, good luck to everyone on their cycles and still keeping my Fx for you Vic!!! If I am here, it's because i'm avoiding study! Lol!

    xxx

Jo your follicles will grow in no time, how many did you have? Good luck in your exam on Thursday and hopefully studying will take your mind off this for a few days.

I am really nervous about starting this cycle.....I know it's my last and I am so scared I won't deal with it if it doesn't go to plan. I probably sound like a broken record but that's the only thing I keep thinking about lately.
Oh well I guess we will just have to wait and find out!!!

Kerbear, the nurse didn't actually tell me how any follicles I had... She did say that i had a few smaller ones and from what I saw on the screen, maybe about 6? I had another follie that was about 4mm...

Good luck with your cycle! I'll have my Fx'd for you too!!!

Thankfully I only have 2 exams, 1 assignment and 2 weeks of work placement to go until holidays from uni this year! Lol. Bring on november 24th!

Jo, GL with the 50iu. Hope the exam goes well too.

Kerbear, I know exactly what you mean! No doubt I'll be exactly the same when we do our cycle. I'm already scared and it's still months away... We have to try, right?

    Hi girls xx
    Hope everyone is doing ok.
Thinking of you all the time.

Spoke to our embryologist today and in addition to the fresh embie we transferred, we have five little frosties waiting in the wings.

Exciting stuff. We have our bt booked for the 7th. It seems so far away. For now I'm just trying to keep busy, oh and I regularly talk to my tummy to try and coax our little embie to get comfy.

Vic - how did you go today? Am keeping everything crossed for you!

AFM - sorry just a short message today. Have been so busy, even though had the day off. Had blood test today and levels are going up nicely. Tomorrow I have to go to the clinic for another blood test and a scan. Hopefully ovulation is still a little away as my DF is away at the moment for work and won't be back till next week. This natural FET business seems pretty uneventful, suppose the exciting part comes soon enough.

    Hi everyone.

Nire that's fantastic news about the 5 in the freezer. Hopefully the little fresh one will stick for you.

Me4ever - are u having to take any thing at all for ur natural fet. I am hopefully to start mine next week. Do u feel relaxed not having to take hormones?

Vic - fingers crossed for you.

Afm- I had blood tests last Friday and af is due approximately next Monday so excited to start natural fet.

Does anyone know if a natural fet doesn't work can u try again straight away without waiting a cycle?

    Hi to everyone else.

Hi Beau, this is my first natural FET - I will only have to take pessaries after transfer... Tomorrow will be 3rd blood test and first ultrasound. I had one on day 3, as AF started on a Saturday and today is CD10. And yes am feeling very relaxed at the moment. It's so nice not to have the stress of having to do injections and dealing with the side effects. I suppose the 2 week wait will be more stressful, although as I'm coming up to my wedding day I'll have lots of other stuff to think about!

Beau - just adding some info, just went to clinic for blood test and scan and they've given me the pessaries, but I also have to have a trigger injection, that I have to take, to make sure the ovulation happens, then 6 days later will be the transfer. I think that not all the ladies that do natural FET's have to have that, might just depend on the clinic?!
Lining is looking good and I'll have 1 good size follicle that will go to waste this month, as no unprotected intercourse this month What a shame.
That's it for now! Hi to everyone...

I didn't have a trigger with my natural FET. I just had b/w monitoring until O was "confirmed" and then transfer at 3dpo (day 3 embryo). I started progesterone pessaries after the transfer. Being a natural cycle, I don't see why you'd have to wait before trying again, but it may depend on your clinic's/Dr's policies?

Afm, I've finally conceded that I have O'd early again. Been cramping ever since too, so not expecting anything from this cycle. Just hoping I get a normal LP in spite of the weak O. With my low AMH, this sudden trend of O'ing earlier is worrying me... Until a few months ago I was O'ing at CD17 very reliably; now I'm either O'ing early (CD13/14) or late (CD20). The only reason we had good timing this cycle was because DH was insistent about DTD even though I didn't feel like it (and didn't think it was the right time)... I'm starting to think there may have been some pheromones involved and that DH may be a more reliable indicator than OPKs or BBTs! (In spite of what I have on my chart, I never got a +opk this cycle, but I did get 2 dark lines, so I'm guessing I missed the peak in between and marked the chart based on that assumption.)
