whoops I just wanted to add (because that post sounded kind of miserable) that things are really good right now health-wise for me just worried about things worsening and the IVF drugs' impact etc.
Just actually really happy to have joined, and got this off my chest and happy to see others get their BFPs. Cannot wait!

worrywart, sorry to hear it's an ongoing problem, but glad that you have it under control now. I hope the IVF meds don't trigger any problems. I'm also glad you feel a little better for having some people to talk to. There's a few of us TTC#2+ here and, while it is different to TTC#1 in many ways, IF always hurts...

AFM - Had my first ultrasound for this cycle this morning 4 follies, the annoying thing is the lady who did the scan the last time I was there was a trainee and struggles to find my left ovary so the other lady had to complete the scan. The trainee is now no longer a trainee and did the ultrasound alone this morning and boy did she struggle to see my left ovary again and said she could only see 1 follie. I really think she just couldn't find it again she did say she would tell the FC that she struggled with my left ovary today. Anyway back on Wednesday morning for another ultrasound. Hopefully a different lady doing it and hopefully some more follies with golden eggs Ovaries are hurting today afer taking first dose of puregon this morning

Just called the clinic for my results and they think egg retrieval will be on Friday. Joe I now how you felt when you had the same news a couple of weeks ago so wish there were a few more follies but I am just going to have to go with the quality over quantity......positive thoughts!!!

I am starting to think after doing IVF I am no longer going to be classified as unkown infertility

PosTTC yep is very hard knowing that there is absolutely nothing you can do about. Hoping you get a different person doing your scan on Wed. Understaning that everyone has to learn but when we are so emotionally charged to this point in a cycle & all we are after is good news can be very frustrating when we feel like guinea pigs. I would maybe ask for someone to oversee the scan if you get the same girl. It'll come down to the epu though & heres hoping that there will be more hiding. Are they likley to go past Friday for epu? My eventual epu was 3 days after my planned epu date in the hope that they were more mature. Good luck PosTTC, everything crossed for you xx

Hi Joe, I will know for sure tomorrow arvo as I have another scan booked tomorrow morning, but the FN I spoke to yesterday seemed to think Friday. The follies ranged between 13mm & 15mm so not sure how much they grow them to before the epu. Hubby said the same as you doesn't matter if the girl doesn't pick them up in the scan if there are some hiding they will find them during surgery. Will update you tomorrow arvo x

PosTTC, good luck with your scan/EPU. I just wanted to add that on my last cycle I was crying on the first scan because I think I had 2 small follicles and thought for sure that it would be cancelled, and then I ended up with something like 10 big follicles, and then by the EPU I had 4 eggs (which for us is actually very good, as good as it gets, but it seemed kind of low because of the number of follicles) and then 4 good quality embryos which was (again for us) really just amazing. So those highs and lows with IVF ... I don't know, they are just crazy and it's pretty impossible not to get caught up in them. Things change on a dime though, they really do. And you just never know....

Oh that's ok rai!! It kinda gave me courage to test as my friend turned up with a hpt in her bag!! .... Um there are 2 frigging lines on it?!?!
So pray its not a chem but I rang monash and they said its good to have a hpt come up positive so early ... Now I try n stay sane yeah right!
