AFM - I am still hanging on. I am 11 days post egg pick up and started spotting at work. Lots of cramps but the spotting seems to have stopped.... god oh god why is this like being on a roller coaster. Boy I feel like AF is on the way, I wish she would tke a hike just once.

    Hi everyone,

Sorry to have been MIA for a whole month and a half. It appears we have some new and old faces.

Smithy- My sweets, have you heard back from your clinic yet? Have been thinking about you all afternoon.

AFM- My BB's are KILLING ME!!! Could it be possible that somehow..magically...I fell pg since EPU. I don't think so as DH as been away since then..LOL!!! Just the drugs I know..but they are BAD.
    Hugs Bel
Bel I hope things are going well for you and that you will get your awaited BFP. Congrats on your embies...

Smithy, I hope you get some answers soon.

    Hi everyone,

AFM - I am a bit behind here, it has been a crazy past few days. EPU went great, out of the 19 follies I had, 12 eggs were retrieved. I was happy with that, assuming there were quite a few that were a little to immature. Of the 12, 9 fertilised, YAY! As of today 6 are growing well and are between 7 and 8 cell. This is a record for me, I am over the moon as I have been stressing about having an embryo quality issue. While some of them have a small degree of fragmentation, the embryologist has said she is so much more happier with this batch than the last, and they are better quality than the last. Phew... She had also thawed the last 2 embies I had from my last cycle. She had thought that they would be suspect but they have picked up and are looking good. So a total of 8 in the mix. Grow embies grow! Fingers crossed I get to Wednesday and to a blastie transfer.
    xx
    Transfer tomorrow BDT.. good luck

I'm back after a bit of an absence. AF arrived over the weekend and I feel strong enough to try another FET cycle. The last month has been a rollercoaster with being diagnosed with depression, going on meds and just dealing with life but am slowly learning to take one day at a time.
Welcome back Bec. Just like you I had a cancelled cycle in Sept since I did not ovulate at all.... first time ever. Anyway, I am at day 15 and had a positve on the ovulation kit so, looks like I will be having my transfer next Monday (blast transfer).

Haven't seen KellyD but from the thread, I hope you luck and that you get a BFP this Monday... I will doing a transfer and you will be getting a BT for a confirmation on the same day... lets wish ourselves luck, hey?

Hi Everyone - gosh, lot's to read tonight !

Bel and Ruth08 - your embies are doing great, good luck for your ET

Babytruj - I also used the Maybe microscope thingy, I was a bit tricky at first as I couldn't tell what was a fern or not but I worked it out it was pretty accurate.

Can anyone reccomend a accupunturist (sp?) in Melbourne, close to the city?

Not sure I can remember all the other personals for today, but happy thoughts to everyone.

AFM - feeling very calm about FET tomorrow, I'm sure that will change to intense worry by the time I get to the clinic.

    Take care everyone,
    LNB

    Hey Everyone

I'm still trying to keep up with everyone And all the different procedures

Wouldlovebubba - How does the Ovulation microscope work? I've been going to my Gymea every month for an ultrasound to see if there is an egg there...
I can't believe the success rate with acupuncture. I am looking into this, but hate needles - I guess I better get used to them, I'm only at the start of the treatments for TTC, and I know there are a lot of needles to come if it doesn?t happen naturally.

21andTTC - I started charting my temps, but found that they seemed all over the place, so gave up for the last 2 months, especially as I have been going to the doctor every month around DPO 12/13 to see if there is an egg there... I'm going to start again though, as it will be nice to try and get a feel for what is going on with my body.

Bel ? great news with your embies

AFM - I have been on Chlomid for 3 cycles now.
First cycle, I was on 50mg, and I had a nice egg. My LH levels were negative, So I had a Pregnyl Injection. BFN.
2nd Cycle, I was on 50mg, and there were no eggs, and the doc said that AF would possibly be late, as my uterus wasn't ready (It was 1 week late).
This cycle, I am on 100mg chlomid, and waiting for the scan on Wed.... Bring on the eggs.

    Helen

    Hi Helen
Each morning you put a small amount of saliva on the m/scope and when you are ovulating a fern like pattern appears on the scope - thats the fun time .. perhaps you could google the name - maybe baby - and you could read all the technical stuff ..

I had my first accup appointment today and I was scared too - but it doesnt hurt at all you cant feel it ..

    Hi Everyone

Bel - Good luck for WED transfer, I am actually going in tomorrow for my EPU. My last scan last thursday revealed 16-18 eggs. My first cycle I got 20 eggs so I am feeling for you post EPU. It bloody hurts!!! Oops don't wanna scare any-one. Scheduled for transfer on Thursday. We will have the dreaded TWW to go through together. Keep me posted.

LMB - Sorry, not able to help you on the trigger issue. After reading so many threads, it's amazing how different people's experiences are. Quite bizarre really! I am sure they know what their doing and the results will show that soon. With my FET, I just waited til natural ovulation occured and two days later scheduled for transfer although the frosty bubs didn't make the thaw.

Millymoo: I have my fingers crossed for you. Tell AF to take a holiday for 9 months.

Smithy - Keep up the sniffing, It's all worth it. It made me feel like a druggie...lol... I told everyone I had the flu... Things we do hey?

Wouldloveabubba - May this be your first and last IVF cycle. Bring it on!

I am sure good news is around the corner for all. It's not a matter of if, just a matter of when!!

    Hi girls,

Glad to see so many of us underway with treatment. Good luck to wouldloveabubba on your "drugs"!

I'm scheduled for transfer of a blastie on Wednesday - we are hoping and praying that at least one of our 3 make it to then! I'm still feeling tired and blurk. I've started on the crinone gel - how lovely. NOT!

wouldloveabubba- I have tried that damn maybe baby and sold it after 2 months because i got ferns every day! like full on ferns i think i either have estrogen dominance or just naturally high estrogen. im using the fertility monitor now ( so expensive) but its about 30 to 50 dollars a month to buy the pee sticks so i hope it works!

babytruj- yeah i know how u feel im starting to wonder if i am ovulating at all! although i read if u get pms u def ovulate because the hormone changes are related to post ovulation and i get terrible PMS. good luck with your temping I will start when AF arrives.

BEl- Yeah i hope it is my month but dont believe it is I am waiting around for my AF and even if its late i believe it is from stress so wont test until a week late if that happens. I hope your embies stick!

to everyone else good luck with your journey!

    hi girls
it has been great reading all your news.
Bel, Ruth, Babydreamtime - my fingers and toes are crossed for your transfer.
Yvette - good luck with your EPU
21 - any news on the HPT?
wouldloveabubba - best of luck for your jabbing. just think of it as one step closer with each jab.
milly - sending you sticky vibes! fingers are crossed for you.

AFM I've managed to crawl out of the sad hole I've been in since my BT results on Friday. AF still hasn't really visited and I have to get another BT tmrw to make sure the HCG levels have lowered so I can do a thaw cycle this month. Gee, I can't wait for the day when I'm not counting weeks and days until my next HPT / BT... I really feel like I've wished the last 2 years away...
Very best to everyone I haven't mentioned.

Well done Mels on your crawl out of the black hole! Welcome to the light! I hope that you can continue to get more positive for your next thaw.

21 - you must have an iron will to not test! Well done girlfriend!

I just got my embie update and all 3 of our little ones have made it to morula stage! Woot! All our friends have been praying so hard.

I'm on the crinone gel and I'm getting a bit cramping - kinda like pre AF - has anyone else had this - is it normal?

    Morning all,

Ruth- Your little embies are powering on. You must be so relieved now. I'm sure everyones prayers have helped will the little ones on to grow so well. I hope tomorrow is a great day for you. I'll be thinking of you.

Yvette- Good luck for EPU tomorrow. Sounds like you have some good little eggies in there. Hope you feel ok afterwards.

Mels- I hope your levels go down really quickly so you can get started again. I agree 100% with the wishing time away. It's so terrible that we have to be like that, but keeping on going with this TTC journey is what gives me hope, so I am always waiting for the next cycle. You are doing really well though and should be proud of yourself and your strength.

Janet and LNB- I hope your transfers went well today. Am thinking of you both and will see you tomorrow in the TWW thread.

21- Good idea on waiting a week with the testing if AF doesn't show. Stress does amazing things to your body....I should know, I'm the QUEEN of stress.

Smithy- AF nicked off yet? It won't be long now sweets, I just know it. Big hugs to you.

Would Love Bubba- So glad AF came and you are getting started. It's an exciting time starting everything and finally getting on the right track to conceive. We'll all be here for you.

Kahlan- Hi there, haven't heard from you in a while..how you been?

BDT- How you going my friend? All ready for tomorrow?

Sorry if I missed you...am still thinking if you.

    An embie update from me..
7 still going strong and are at the stage before blastie, 1 not looking so good.
I will be praying tonight that the little ones keep growing and tomorrow is the start of amazing things for DH and I.

    Big hugs to all
