WLB - I hope your little eggies are growing nicely and you are booked in soon for EPU!

Smithy - how are coping there? Still working on those 9+ eggs? And out of interest - how early did you test on your previous cycles????

Paula - all the best for your EPU tomorrow. I hope they get a good lot and that you recover quickly.

Kahlan - re the bigger girls - I know that some FS would suggest a client to lose weight before IVF but others don't say anything at all. I'm on the larger size but generally very active and healthy and my FS didn't blink an eye when I said my weight was around 100kg.

AFM - sticking with the crinone (yuck) which is giving me cramps but no preg symptoms yet.... : ( Only 1 week and 2 days till testing!

    Morning ladies
I have just tried to go back through the last few page to work out where everyone is at, I'm infinitely sorry if I have left you off:
21 - fingers crossed this is your cycle and that you get some answers
wouldlove - bring on the follies, sounds like everything is going great so far
babytruj - good luck with your lap. i'm glad i had one. but i wish i'd moved to ivf sooner than i did (I suppose hindsight is 20/20 right?). good luck with everything.
jodiec65, nicole, janie - big hugs to you (but i can't work out where you're at in your cycle!)
JBM, Kahlan, LNB, Ruth, Bel - yay to you TWWrs. Bring on the BFP!!
Smithy - fabulous news that your EPU is getting closer
Ontrack - hope your EPU went well - did you transfer this week too? If so, good luck in your TWW too.
Sarah - hope the gp app's are progressing and you feel like you're moving fwd.
Wishingbaby - hope the jabbing is going well. Good luck for your upcoming BT.
Cuddlepie - hope you have a rest in your down-time before starting again in mid-Nov. A fresh start may be just what you need to get that BFP.
Paula - good luck for EPU TODAY! Hope you get loads of eggs!

AFM - looks like I can do a FET this month (yippee!). I'm going for a scan on Friday to work out where everything is at (have no idea what CD it is after my m/c last month and a very strange visit from AF).
As for Shelbee and others comments about pg friends etc - I know exactly how you feel. A very good friend told me a while ago that she thought she might be pg, and I can only describe my reaction as disappointment (and then guilt for having had that reaction). Then when she later told me she wasn't actually pg, my reaction was (you guessed it) relief (immediately followed again by guilt for having been happy / relieved that she wasn't pg). This is such a tough time for us all - the reality is, it is just not fair - no one deserves a baby any more or less than anyone else. But for all of us waiting patiently, life just seems to be extra unfair. But I guess that's life. Someone wrote on this thread a long time ago (can't recall who?) that these experiences make us richer / deeper women. And tho I find it damn hard to remember that when I'm in the toilet sobbing b/c of AF or another BFN or m/c or whatever, I try as hard as I can to pick myself up and to be positive. Anyway, enough of a rant from me. I hope you're all having fabulous weeks and are steps closer to the BFP we all deserve.

Hi everyone....been a while since I posted in here...but sadly, after just losing our angel at 8 weeks, I will be back in here soon..ish... I had a curette yesterday and we can't resume IVF until the start of Jan....hopefully by then I will feel strong enough and positive enough to face starting again.

I just wanted to say hello in the meantime and wish you luck with wherever you are at with your cycles right now....hope some of you get a BFP for christmas.

    Hi Ladies,

Some old & new faces in here, so sorry for no personals, but wanted to drop in and say "I'm Back".

We got a BFN at our BT on Monday, after everything felt so promising..... But fortunately because it was a definite BFN (no HCG at all) we can go straight into another FET. So for once in my life my body is playing nicely and AF arrived with a vengence yesterday. So back onto the Progynova tomorrow, with our scan scheduled for the 3rd November and hopefully 2 more FET's will be transferred on the 7th November.

It is so hard to comprehend as my last transfer was 3 months after our first transfer and now this one is in the next cycle. My head is spinning at the moment with all the emotions from the last week.......Hope, dissappointment, excitment........it is amazing what we put ourselves through..

Hi Kelly, I am glad you are standing tall and fight on. Just want to know whether you will try another day 3 transfer or will be using your blasts? I have been told that the success rate of frozen blasts is = to fresh day 3 embies. You might want to consider this. Also since we have a lot of day 3 frosties, have you consider thawing them and growing them to day 5 and see what your chances are. what I mean is have 2 thaw (number depending how many you will be having transfered), grow to day 5, if none of those 2 survive you can thaw your day 5 embies instead and have a day 5 transfer. Day 5 embies have a success thawing rate of 80%. Anyway, just food for thought. I am a big believer is blasts because it has bought be a BFP which the day 3 haven't.

Mels: From my first transfer I got a HCG of 52, then it took about a week to get the levels back to 0, but because I had the 52 at the first BT I was told to keep up the Crinone which then delayed getting AF. I ended up having to wait for AF to arrive then was put on the pill to do a HRT FET cycle. So a full cycle on the pill then AF again and finally the transfer. My fresh transfer was on the 15th July and the FET on the 7th October.

Kahlan: I would love to do Day 5's (I have 5) but because we still have so many day 3's (7) they prefer to use those first then go onto the day 5's as the second option. Although I might ask if I can as having 5 blasty's should give us a good thaw rate.....hopefully. I think it is a double edged sword having so many frosties.... yes we have lots of trys without a new stim cycle, but the negative is it will take so long to go through all the frosties to see if any of them are going to work....... Soooooo much to work out in my head.

Sister Smithy - you make me laugh - its a shame you live in Sydney - we could have ended up having EPU the same day in the same hospital - and our 9 +++++ embies would be growing snuggly in the same incubator ... for us with our injections .. my tummy looks like I have done ten rounds with mike tyson ...

Paula: Thanks for your reply - from the threads it seems Melb and Syd are different, I think my follies still had a bit of growing to do, hence the wait for the b/t .. Good Luck for lots of eggs today in your pick up.

LNB: Thanks for your best wishes and lots of for you

    Hello ladies,

What can I say? I have had a tough week and so too have so many of you. I am trying acupuncture, yoga and meditation...don't really buy it but anything is worth a try right?

Paula - Thanks babe. We can be happy for all the ladies with the pregnant bellies and we can be even more happy for each other when it happens for us (and it WILL!!) Good luck. Thank you so much for your response. I feel so much better knowing my reaction was normal.

mel77 and JBM- Thank you for your kind words. I have spent many a day at work crying in the toilet, calling my mum, asking why isn't it me......This pregnancy of my friend at work has made me even more determined. Do you ever feel that it is so amazing how strong we women are, picking ourselves up off the toilet floor time and time again? I am constantly inspired by the strength of the women in this forum. to both of you. JBM... a special thanks for saying I am not mean...hubby thinks I am and it is so nice to speak to girls who understand.

    More personal replies....

Possums - I am truly sorry. I am sure you will get back up on the horse . I have read your posts for some time and you have made me feel so much more positive so I am sure you know your time is coming soon. I wish you so much luck January is really not very far away. Rest up, have fun in the meantime and the great news will be here soon.

Babytruj- so have you booked your lap yet? I really cannot explain why, but I feel the lap was my best move yet. It gave me more confidence (and hubby senses it let me tell you!!) Best of luck honey...let me know how you go with the lap...

Bel - congrats!!! Rest up and milk it for all it's worth!!!

Best wishes to all the lovely ladies here....

    Best wishes ladies.....
