Sooo my clinic rang and said that this cycle looks completely different from my last 3 stim cycles. EPU will be Tuesday and looks like I only have 3 lead folicles. WTF!!! Same meds as last 2 stims, and last time I had so many folicles it was hard to count. This time she said 3 with a few small ones. She also said that it would now be a day 3 transfer as I wouldn't have enough to go to day 5 plus my clinic is shut on Sundays. I cant believe that this is our last ever stim and this is how its going end I feel like its a waste of time, but have to finish the path I set us on. DH asked how I went and he said "well thats a waste of ****ing money and time" so not only am I upset with myself I now feel like I am letting him down too. I know he doesn't mean it and was just the disappointment I guess.

The clinic has just called again. Trigger Sunday night 10.00pm, EPU Tuesday 16th.

Vic- Sending you big hugs & just letting you know I'm keeping my fingers, knees and toes crossed that the follies will grow a bit bigger, so even the smaller ones will be big enough to be harvested and grow into healthy day 3 embies...

Vic, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope their quality is perfect to make up for the lack of quantity. I also hope there's a few more hiding...

Ladies, I've been scouring the forums because I know the answers are there but can't find it - what are you taking to try to help with egg quality? I know about coq10 and melatonin, but I'm sure there's another one starting with "m" that I can't remember and can't find the name of and I thought there was a 4th (or maybe I'm just thinking of DHEA, but I though there was another aside from that)? I'm trying to put together a list of things to ask my FS about on Tuesday... I'm already taking the coq10 and doing acupuncture, but I want to ask about the others.

Hmmm, think AF came. Could it be that early? I'm certainly cranky enough to have pms.

N2L, thanks. That's not the one I was thinking of, but I think it's worth adding to the list. Your have reminded me that I've read a few things lately about non-PCOS ladies taking it to improve egg quality.

miloro, were you on any progesterone? If not, then 8dpEPU is not unreasonable for AF to show up. Especially with the OHSS and stress to the ovaries. I can't remember, will you do a FET straight away or wait a cycle?

I started taking the met at the end of October last year. I did a stim mid December and my eggs were better quality than they had been previously. Who knows if the met contributed

Eta- Miloro, my first stim I had a D&C at EPU due to mucous in the uterus (hey that rhymes ). I got AF eight days after.

Thanks Juniper and N2L. With luck they let me go straight into a natural FET this cycle, that's what the nurse told me. The doc said I might be able to do that, it depended on how I went after the epu. I was fine, no ohss symptoms.

Morning girls. So DH and I have had time to get our heads around the different cycle I seem to be having and I think that its a good thing (got to stay positive right???). The other ones have not worked so maybe I need a shake up and get a few AWESOME eggs. Who needs another 17??? We only need enough for a transfer and a FET in December if need be as we are pulling the pin and moving on. That will make 14 months pretty much back to back cycles with a pg thrown in the mix. I am done. DH is done. And the bank account is soooooo done! Just going to sit back and let the universe decide if we are meant to be birth parents this life time. I am sick of pushing and controlling it all. Well, the little control I do have anyway lol. So we are holding our breaths and waiting to see what the universe decides. If no earthside bub for us I am going to be mighty p****ed though

To all you girls creeping up to 40 dont let it get too close before you decide to move on and think about donor eggs/ donor sperm. Knowing what I know now, I probably would have gone straight for donor eggs. I know its not the same, but i figure i can sure love a bub growing in my tummy, even if its not my egg. My desire for a baby far outweighs the tricky bit of it not being my egg. My ego got in the way though and I thought since i was undiagnosed it would happen. My BFF went through IVF 8 times, slow swimmers, endo, arthritis, you name it they have it against them and now have a precious DD. Last stim, one embryo, bled all through the pregnancy but now happy and healthy 3 year old. I thought if she can get pg then so can I. Same FS even. But here we are looking down the barrel of it not happening. *sigh*

FX it may still happen for us yet. We are still technically still not out of the running. So come on universe...BRING IT ON!!!

    Hi ladies,

Gosh I have missed so much in here! I hope that I don't miss anyone!

Vic, I am sorry love. I am sorry that you don't have a bubba on board right now, but I sure as hell hope that you will have one by the time the next cycle finishes or better still, a lovely natural conception happens for you guys! Even if you don't get your bubba, and I really hope that you will, you know that you have given it 200%. And apart from not going to donor eggs straight away (and who thinks of that at the time, of course we all hope to be successful without the need for that option) you have done everything in your power to realise your dream. And lets not forget that you CAN conceive on your own, something not a lot of us can do (me included). So even though you don't have that 'great' number of follies this time around, you might just end up with a lovely embie that will go the distance. I really really hope so hun

Juniper, I am sorry your AF arrived. Truly I am It's horrible to get that stoopid AF when you've had your heart riding on a BFP. And thanks so much for adding lil 'ol me to your list, you are just a sweetheart (even though I am not doing a cycle this month , lol).

Sarah, I hope you've caught that eggie lovely! When are you testing? GL hunni

Miloro, 2 bubs on ice is fantastic! When will your FET be? Sorry you've had OHSS, and not a fresh transfer because of it. GL with your FET hun

Myturn, thanks sweetheart I really hope your AF decides to show her face soon so you can track your cycles again and get something happening!

Hello to the newbies Faye and Jo, I hope your IVF journeys are very short and successful.

Hello also to all my other beautiful friends, n2l, me4ever, bloss, wishanddream, murraycod, Emma, kerbear, Beau, krikkit, Andy, Emerald Star, niro and anyone else I missed . GL with where ever you are in your cycles ladies!

AFM, the training week is over, my brain is fried, and I have all next week (Mon-Sat) training at a tatts outlet. I am soooooo glad I didn't to a cycle this month now, it just would have been too hard. If you don't complete the 40 hours training at the training outlet, you have to do the whole week again, at a cost of another $840. My poor mum is so tired looking after DS all this week (apart from cc mornings and one day where DF's daugther, god bless her cotton socks, looked after him AND she had an exam the next day), so next week she'll be a zombie! All I can say, that I just could not go to work full time and look after DS and be a house wife all at the same time. Just could not do it

Oh and good luck to all the ladies in the 2WW!!!!

All my love and big hugs to all
    bxxx
