So sorry CatyO and Pholi. Big hugs xo

I'm home now after having my lap. Not too sore but very thirsty and tired so drinking lots of water and I'll try to get an early night. Doc will ring me tomorrow to let me know how it went.

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception October 2014

We seem to be getting so few BFPs lately and so many BFNs. I hope that changes soon, ladies.

Afm, I thought I had started AF early (2am) yesterday, but then had nothing much the rest of the day and only some light bleeding today, so I'm not sure if I'm day 2 or not. But, either way, with the 9 days of spotting and random bleeding beforehand, I'm up to day 11 of this crap and hoping it ends soon...

Gosh that doesn't sound like fun at all, juniper! I hope it sorts itself out soon.

Doctor rang earlier. They had to take the left tube. The right one was looking good though. They also found endometriosis which they cleaned up for me. I guess that explains why I've had such awful period pains for the last almost 20 years! I felt really good yesterday after I got home but last night the pain in my shoulder and diaphragm really played up on me. I hardly slept at all. I'm seeing the GP later today as pandadol just isn't cutting it. Emotionally I'm feeling ok and glad to have some answers. The clinic will send me a follow up appt but until then we're just going to take it easy and keep trying naturally next cycle.

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception October 2014

Thanks girls. We are totally due for some bfps. I hope that's you, Razzberry.

    That sucks, Juniper. :/

My FS rang me yesterday after the bfn was confirmed with a BT. Have to take the next month off, then we'll do a natural FET cycle in December. Could you put me down as waiting for that, please Juniper?

If the next embryo becomes a take home baby, it'll be due right in DS's birthday. Not ideal, but it doesn't really matter, I just want my next baby.

Sorry to the girls who have had BFN's lately.
I am still here reading and following.
No idea when my next IVF cycle might be, we are broke!
Debating on when to call it quits.
Anyone have any info re: IVF through the public system? I suppose they don't do PGD though? GAH!

Spoons, sorry to hear they had to take a tube. I hope the GP helps with some pain meds. I'm usually (but not always) sent home from hospital with a pack of (generic) panadeine forte after my laps.

Thanks juniper. I got some tramadol. I also saw a physio and I've been putting cold packs on my shoulder. I'm feeling pretty good atm. Just hope it doesn't all turn upside down again when I go to bed tonight. After all that worry about buying pads and I haven't had any bleeding at all lol!

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception October 2014

Spoons, if the shoulder pain is gas pain, I've always used heat rather than cold. Also, moving is supposed to help the gas dissipate. Sorry, I meant to mention that yesterday but was interrupted by work and (an hour later) couldn't remember what I was going to write so just hit the post button...

Spoons really hope the pain goes away soon, you poor thing its sounds so painful xxx

Ladies I desperately need some advise cause I have absolutely no one to talk to about this. I have the opportunity to have a FET at the very end of December (if I can lose some weight) I would have 1 transferred or should I just wait till after my operation in February and transfer 2 in May? Or I could have 1 transferred in December and if that does not work I could have another transferred in May, I have just always felt transferring 2 is better but in saying that I got a bfn when I did transfer 2. Or I could transfer 2 in December and that will be the end of my ttc. Please Please I really really need some advice on what you all think I'm so utterly confused:-( PLEASE HELP I NEED ADVISE!!!!!

1MP- What is the op for? Will it improve your chances of getting/staying pregnant? If so id be tempted to save at least one embie for next year. In terms of transfering 1 vs 2. I have only ever done one at a time but that's only cos its the standatd process at my clinic. I have heard the 2 transferer at once can increase success rate but I have no idea if that is actually fact or rumour.
