Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception October 2014
GL Jane! Hope transfer goes perfectly and you can manage to reduce your stress. I totally hear you on the unrealistic deadlines - I'm facing the same thing myself and hit the wall this week (just exhausted to the core and struggling to even boot up the laptop to work at home).
Afm, this monitoring cycle just feels like a disaster (and that's even with ignoring the fact that I had to skip OI due to the G20). I had first b/t on Friday, which was fine. Was supposed to go back Monday, but only had 1.5 hours' sleep before my 5:30am alarm so turned it off and went back to sleep until 11am (I also missed work) and went for the second b/t on Tuesday instead. I'm meant to go back for the 3rd b/t in the morning but DH just informed me (a little before midnight) that he has to go to work early so I'd have to take DD with me, which wouldn't work (since she's the one keeping me awake by staying up past 3am - no-one in that waiting room wants me to bring a sleep-deprived 3yo with me), so I'm going to have to call them tomorrow and apologise again and ask if it's okay to come in Friday instead...

Best of luck, Jane. I always think it's better to be busy than bored... But you also need a bit of time to stop, think about how you feel, and deal with those feelings. Fingers crossed for you.

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception October 2014
Saw my FS yesterday. He said that after this clomid cycle, I really can't do anymore and there's obviously something more going on other than just not ovulating. So if I'm not pregnant this cycle (which im not condiment about as it's cycle day 22 and no rise in hormones so not even close to ovulation) then I have to get the test where they put dye in my tubes to see if there is an issue there. Then I will probably start either letrozole or FSH next year, or may be sent back to my gyro for another lap to look for endo returning. So not feeling very fertile and feeling pretty deflated and not sure if I just need to move on from baby making and be happy with the 2 I've got

Miss.B, hope this is your lucky cycle!
Razzberry, sorry to hear this cycle isn't looking hopeful. GL with making a decision on where to go from here.
Afm, looks like my FS is on holidays from Christmas until the end of January, so after missing out on doing OI this cycle, looks like we'll also miss out on the next cycle AND the one after!! Feeling somewhat defeated at this point, which is not helped by the constant cramping that started 2 days ago. I also had spotting 2 days ago (but, thankfully, none since) and my legs are aching like they do right before AF even though my hormone levels are typical for impending ovulation (aside from the lack of LH)... I wish I understood what is going on...

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception October 2014
Awww, hugs Juniper. I hate when FS take long holidays and it means missing out on a cycle or two. Just so frustratiing when you just want to get the ball rolling and feel like time is slipping away (well for me anyway lol). Always praying for us ladies to get a natural xmas miracle anyway, is doesn't hurt, does it?
Just a quick question ladies....Has anyone taken Luveris injections? Not sure what exactly they are for, something about making nice eggies???? My cycle is one injection of Elonva, then from day 6 I inject orgalutran to stop ovulation, also on day 6 I started the Luveris, then on day 9 I am supposed to start Puregon, 300 units, I think this is to keep stimulating the ovaries? First scan tomorrow, FX something good is happening in there.
Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception October 2014
Miss.B, luveris is LH. I've never used it, but adding LH to the FSH can produce good outcomes for some women (usually given to poor responders). For some women it doesn't work well though, so it can be a bit of a gamble the first time you use it, but presumably your FS has considered this and expects you to respond well to it. The reason for starting FSH at day 9 is because the elonva only lasts for 7 days (from memory), so after that you "top up" with FSH. Let us know how you go with your scan!

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception October 2014
Thanks Juniper . The scan went well, I have 4 good sized follies, so triggered tonight and EPU is on Wednesday morning. So glad I am able to go through the egg collection, unlike last time. At least I have enough follies to go to the theatre, now fingers crossed at least one egg is good. So many hurdles to jump over....
