    Good luck, Miss.B!!

Afm, FS gave me a trigger and the plan is to do IUI on Thursday. Let's see if the trigger works... Not so sure about the timing though - he told me to do it now, which is 49 hours before IUI. I've always done the trigger 38 hours before IUI in the past.

    Hi ladies,

Juniper, that's great news about your IUI cycle! FX hun

1 more please, I'll be crossing everything for you in March next year. The time will just fly by so fast I reckon!

Thanks for all your well wishes . EPU went well. On the scan on Monday we had 2 good sized follies, followed by another 2 smaller follies but also good sized, so a total of 4. Today based on that scan, the doctor that did the pick up said he'd be happy if we get 2 to 3 eggs, but we managed to get 5. Even he was very happy with that and said the whole thing went better than expected. He was so nice, he said he was going to flush out any eggies that were in there, big or small and I told him he wasn't allowed to leave the theater unless he had some eggs! lol. So pleased with the result so far. A bit sore, so resting now, I think my EPUs are getting worse with time, I'm getting sorer and sorer. So FX for tomorrow's fert rates, lets hope and pray they fertilise . And also OH was relieved as they used the frozen swimmers from last jab, so there was no big needle for him today .

You girls are all awesome, thanks for all your good wishes and prayers!

Juniper, I remember in one of your posts you wrote about what to take or not take during a cycle? I am taking 600 mg of the COQ10 every day and a melatonin tablet every night. Should I be stopping anything now or after transfer? Thanks hun.

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception October 2014

Miss.B, both the CoQ10 and melatonin are for egg quality, so their job is done for this cycle. Personally, I'd stop the melatonin and continue the CoQ10 in case the cycle is BFN (since the CoQ10 now would be benefiting next cycle's eggs), but you could stop both if you wanted to.

Thanks hun. The penny did eventually drop that both the coq10 and the melatonin is for egg quality so it doesn't matter if I take these now or not. Since it's our last cycle I probably can stop these now I suppose. I might just finish the bottles lol. Thanks again

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception October 2014

Miss.B, if you have any trouble sleeping, you could always keep the melatonin and use it as needed to help with sleep...

Afm, IUI done this morning. Somewhat frustrated that he wants to do another IUI in Feb but is not willing to prescribe FSH for it. The only concession I got was that he'd do a scan next time to check what's going on, but I half suspect he won't follow through on that... Debating going to a different FS next year instead... On the plus side, DH's sample this morning was quite good. Pity my egg was likely past it's "best before"... Oh well, not holding my breath but I guess there's still a small chance of a BFP, which is better than we've had for the last 6 months (which was zero chance since I didn't O)...

    Good luck Juniper!

Well, slightly gutted, actually quite guttet with the call this morning. Out of the 4 mature eggs injected with ISCI, only one fertilised. So all hopes are on one embie. Next hurdle is to have it actually divide and transfer will be hopefully on Saturday morning. I'm now wondering if it was the frozen sperm, maybe we should have done a fresh sample???? And I know it only takes one, but it would have been great to have another one up the sleeve.

Miss B I'm so so sorry, Praying your embie divides and gives you
Your very much deserved BFP, not sure about the frozen and fresh sperm, we done frozen and I have heard it does not matter as much with ICSI but in saying that I could be wrong it will be interesting to see what the others think, again I'm so sorry but like you said it only takes one xxxxxxxxx
