Runnermum...I've had cramps with all my pregnancies so don't rule it out yet! Could be a good sign...little one snuggling in!
thanks Kazza - that is so nice of you to say that about the remaining frosties quality. I am constantly amazed by people's kindness on this site. My BT is not until the 24th.....so over a week away. I can feel AF cramps this morning however...a bit earlier than I expected.
Do you think you will do a Stim cycle again next month or have a little break? I send you ALL my best wishes to you and thank you so much for your kindness and support.
Runnermum...I've had cramps with all my pregnancies so don't rule it out yet! Could be a good sign...little one snuggling in!
I am coming out of hiding! It's been a while since I've posted in here. I have been lurking however and following the progress of everyone.
I went straight into another stim cycle after my crappy August cycle where we missed out on getting to transfer. This will be our last stim....maybe forever, or for at least a good 6-12 months. We are undecided, but need a break. I have been on gonal-f for 7 days now and hacve my ultrasound and BT tomorrow morning. I would say EPU will be this week. I only had 8 gonal-f injections last cycle before going on so I guess it wont be far away. Have to say though, I dont feel as much discomfort this time around, so I hope there is stuff going on in there!
Nic, good to see you're still hanging in there on the synarel. I think you're a star for keeping it up for so long!Hopefully the next 2 weeks will fly by for your FS appointment and you can get things moving.
BG,thinking of you. I need to pop over to your journal to catch up with you. I know an enforced break isn't ideal, but hopefully you will be able to spend the time out for AC relaxed and stree free. When the time comes (and it will get here quickly.....think how close christmas is!) you'll be raring to go!
Lou my friend.... I am so looking forward to seeing a NP if this cycle doesn't happen for us. You have made me want to go!Good to see you're ready to start again soon. I think two of your 14 frosties are going to be the lucky ones!
Runnermum, all the best for your BT. I had cramping a couple of days after transfer when I got my short lived BFP earlier in the year. Quite normal I understand, so I hope it's good news for you!
I hope everyone else is well.
Megan - im so glad you poped back in - you know me i was starting to worry about you - praying that you get a good result with you scan and BT.xx
Runnermum - im with Ellie - if you still have a week for BT i would say that little one is snuggeling in for you- hoping you hold out til your BT
Ellie - have you started the spay yet?i know it must be coming up
Kazza - so sorry hun. take the time that you need - are you goingto see FS again soon.
Bec - well look at you go - EXERCISE !!!please tell me what that is. lol i used to be a gym junkie but since moving to Aus havent done any - although i did join fernwood and just ended up paying all the year fee and canciling my membership - but ssshhhhhhhhh its a sore point with DH. although in answer to your Q - when ever i have had a TF my appunturist has told me to do nothing but rest!!!until BT and if that is + rest til scan but i can tell you would go insain with that - so i would suggest whatever you feel comfortable with hun, maybe give it a rest for 2/3 days then only go twice a week. hope that helps hun
Smithy - hope you are doing Ok still no word from Mon??

to everyone else i hope you had a great weekend and your all doing well take care
Hi runnermum, thank you for your kind words - I feel the same with people's kindness on this site. I know the TWW can seem longer and I'm sending you positive vibes. I still don't know whether to start a stim cycle straight away or have a month's break. If I started I would be on the pill for the first 3 weeks anyway so not much happening, but if I have a month's break it would be better financially, and maybe I'll be better off emotionally. Who knows, maybe I will get a BFP naturally in that month?! My DH doesn't mind either way, whatever makes me happy, but I feel he suffers a bit because I am so moody when undergoing treatment - and I have almost forgotten what BD is like!
Loula, thank you. I don't have an appointment with the FS but am thinking of making one just to ask some questions before the next time to put my mind at rest. In that way it's probably better if I wait a month as well. I guess I also have in my mind I'd like to give some alt treatment a go and it would probably be more beneficial if I have a month off to give it more of a chance to work before I start again.
Kazza
Smithy, I think Mon said there would be problems with her internet connection for a few days? So glad to hear that you aren't having too much trouble with your injections
Megan, great to hear from you again, and that you are doing another cycle. I so hope that this is the one for you and your DH, I think it's about time for you guysLOL at me being a star with the Synarel! Would you believe that this week I finally feel like Iam sniffing it the right way! Only took me 9 weeks.
hope all goes well with your u/s tomorrow
Big hello to everyone else, hope you are all well.
Nic
Good Morning Guys
Nic - Lol at the sniffing Nic does that mean you havent had to taste the horrible stuff for the past 9 weeks?
Kazza - So sorry to hear about the BFN, definately have a chat to the FS and hopefully get some answers, so your ready to go again when the time is right for you. Hope your feeling ok![]()
Loula- Wow sounds as though the NP is doing wonders! Its great that you are feeling so good!
Gotta run and get ready for transfer we just got the call, and 2 of our embies had fertilised on Sat and now we have 2 Day 3 embys all ready to go back. Dont want to push my luck and get them to blast so they are going back at 1030 this morning! DH is working so i am flying solo!
Have a great day guys!!
Shan
SHANNON.. all the best today hun
NIC..lol at you with your synarel not long for you now hun
Shannon, I wish you all the very best for your transfer today.
Kazza
woo hoo Shannon - fab results! best of luck hun, see you over in the TWW thread!
Good Luck Shannon!!!![]()
I have my initial appointment with Dr Foster at MIVF tomorrow and feel sick with nerves already! Just hoping we can go direct to IVF and that we can bypass IUI again. Been there done that, not interested in a return. I think because we have had 2 years off I am nervous they will want us to start from scratch. Am happy to redo prelim tests of course, but I know with mine and DHs issues we are facing IUI or IVF. No more wasting time for us, I am getting old!!! Fingers crossed all goes well anyway! I don't do nerves well!
Thanks Ladies
Transfer went really well, we had one 8 cell grade 1 emby and a 7 cell grade 2 emby so hopefully they are snuggling in tight![]()
Good luck with FS tomorow Babybliss is your DH going with you?
Thanks Nic
The hardest thing i found was i always needed to sneeze after synarel!
LOL at needing to sneeze afterwards! I find that I spend the next half hour or so, sniffling which means I eventually sneeze. I then think "Gee, I hope it did what it had too before I sneezed (or when I just have to gently blow my nose) it all out"
Nic
Woohooh Shannon! That's great news. Take good care of you now.
Ellie - best of luck to you as you start over again.
BecD - wow - you fitness freak you! My nurse has said that I can keep up my gym going before ET, but whilst in theTWW, it's advised not to do any rigorous exercise that may increase your body temp. She has said to stick to gentle exercise only during this time.
Sonya - how are you feeling?
Megan - best of luck for EPU this week. I hope you get a good batch.
Kazza - so sorry about your BFN. Wishing you better luck for next time 'round, when you're ready for it. Rest up well for now won't you!
Runnermum - don't give up yet! Those cramps could be implantation, yes! Hang in there. Thinking of you!
As for me - BT was all good on Friday, and 1st Gonal injection last night was pretty uneventful. I may even feel brave enough to let DH do one for me tonight (he's busting to). Next BT and scan is Wednesday, so fingies crossed it'll show the beginnings of some nice follies growing.
Arielle
The sneezing with the synarel is what annoys me the most these days I think. I'm ok for about 20 minutes straight after and then all of a sudden I start sneezing and I can't stop for a good 10 minutes or so. I'm even used to the taste now and it doesn't bother me! lol Its a bit sad when IVF drugs are just another part of your everyday life and you don't give it a second thought!
Smithy, you're on the home stretch now. I find that to be the easiest part of the cycle. My last 2 cycles I have only had 8 gonal-f injections before being ready. You'll be good to go in no time!
Shannon, hope everything went well with transfer!
Arielle, LOL at DH busting to do your injection!! Mine is the same. My DH does mine, but one night I did it myself when he was running a bit late to get home. When he realised he missed out, he looked like a little kid that had his lollies taken off him.
Well, EPU is Wednesday for me. The nurses words were "your BT and scan this morning were both perfect!". Don't think they've ever said perfect before, so I'll take it! I had 16 follies on the left and 6 on the right. There were a few smallish ones around 15mm but most were 17-21mm. I just hope there's some eggs in these ones. I'm really nervous this time. I don't think its to do with the actual procedure of EPU, but more finding out how many eggs they manage to get. I don't think I can go through the disappointment of what happened last time all over again.
