wishanddream, I know that situation all too well. It doesn't help you at all to have them dismiss or trivialise your feelings. You're disappointed whenever AF shows up. Why wouldn't you be? And when it happens month after month, that pain accumulates and grows into something that others can't understand unless they've been through it themselves. But you can't tell them to shut up and stop saying stupid things because, as you said, they mean well. That's why we're all here to help each other, because we know how it feels. (Btw, if you want to be added to the list, just let me know where you're at in your cycle.)

I have been doing some research on CoQ10 and some sites suggest stopping during the TWW, others say its good for embedding. I have embedding issues so am not too sure if I should stop it. They say not to take it if pg or breast feeding. If I stop it now, and need to do another stim next month does that mean what I have taken will be of no value? Thoughts girls? N2L? What should I do? FET could be next week or the week after.

Also they say its good for sperm so should DH be taking it, or is my 600mg a day enough to cover us both? Some of the sites I have been looking at the partners also take it.

I keep taking it Vic. Neither the naturopath (who specialises in TTC) or my FS said to stop during 2ww. There is nothing about stopping in the literature my FS gave me to read.

Cool. I do want to keep taking it

What about DH? Does yours take it? And if so, how much?

Hey ladies I ended up in Ed and on a drip X-ray ultrasound and OxyContin for pain. I have had some devastating news that only one of the 11 had fertilized on top of all this. So lost at the moment.

Oh Krit Thats so unfair that your so unwell and only 1 fertilized. Take special care and we are all praying that one does what it needs to do and gets safely back in you xxx

Thanks N2L - DH is on menavit like tablets as he cant swallow capsules. He has no sperm issues either.

AFM - Yesterdays results are in. E2 now 654 up from 302. LH same sitting at 6. Nurse said anything over 700 could be enough to trigger ovulation, so here's hoping todays results show a surge. Another BT tomorrow. To anyone who has done a natural thaw what do E2 numbers look like? I have tried googling it, but just get confused lol.

Oh I am so sorry Krikkit
Do you normally have issues with fertilisation?? Praying the one embie is all you need

Is it OHSS? Or something else?

geez krikkit... thats awful... you poor thing. i hope the oxy is at least keeping you comfortable.

vic - dont know about e2 numbers for natural thaw... i think usually i just get bt's checking for lh & prog. my dh is on menevit & fish oil too, no sperm issues here either. i think he takes coq10 as well sometimes... i have read its good for sperm health too. i figure we need all the help we can get, so cant hurt. not sure if they come in tablet form for your dh though?!

Oh, Krikkit, that's heartbreaking to go through so much and have only 1 fertilise! Was it natural fertilisation or ICSI? I hope they're looking after you well at the hospital and that you're feeling better (and back home) soon!

vic, I don't know if I made a note of my E2 numbers for our first FET. I think he was more interested in the LH because I didn't trigger for O, just had my natural O. I'll have a look next time I log into FF, but I don't think I'll have noted the E2 (or possibly any). I always have E2, P4 and LH tested as standard during pre-O monitoring.

I wonder if I can get DH to take anything? He started the menevit way back when we first started IUI, but stopped because they smelled bad (or some such thing). It would be a pity to bend over backwards to try to improve my eggs only to have a dodgy sperm fertilise one... Hmmm...

June - My DH doesn't like taking tablets, but I told him to suck it up. He gets off easier and has more fun than me at EPU so now swallows his tablet like a good boy lol. I always get them out with breakie.

I am not triggering for O, just myself. I have never done a natural FET, so am interested in how other cycles go. I am having E2, LH & P4 tested each day. I am just stoked my body is doing something. It may be slower than a medicated one, but here is hoping that it works and gets me my BFP. DH is wondering when the cut off date is to stop DTD. I said once I surge then your cut off for hopefully 12 weeks lol. The eyebrows dropped, but he is pretty good about it. Wish we had waited the 12 weeks last time. We did it after our 7 week scan and next scan showed the m/c. They say it doesn't affect it, but I guess we will never know.

Hi girls hope you all doing ok
Krikkit so sorry to hear that happened, it happened to me once before using icsi i was devastatated after getting 11 only 1 fertilized! Lets pray the little one is growing nicely for you.
AFM 5 have fertilized very average quality but they are doing what they should be at this stage so fingers crossed.
Will have to catch up later on what everyone is up too!

Vic, I looked it up and don't have any numbers noted on my chart for my first FET. Sorry. I don't like my chances of talking DH into taking any tablets because I've been nagging him to see a Dr to do something about his cholesterol (easily treated with medication) and he won't do it! It has been 4 years now! I'll have to sit him down and talk to him about it all. To be honest, with the natural FET, we plan to BD in case the embryo doesn't survive the thaw. I figure our risk of twins is small for us, but the risk of not getting to transfer is high...

Blossom, DD was from either an average or below average embie. I suspect she was the below average one because that was the one growing on schedule (4-cell at day 2); the average one was growing more slowly (2-cell). Anything can happen, so FX for you!!

Probably be the last update for a while, confirmed moderate ohss so probably be cancelled for fresh transfer. This is awful and I will be in hossy for a few days, vomiting up bile at the moment.

I hope everyone else is doing much better than me xxxx
