    Congrats jbear. Wonderful news.

I too have thought about pgd, but not too sure if my clinic does it.

AFM - just plodding along. TWW not too bad this time. I feel like I have healed alot after my mc now I am pupo again. Still concerned about egg quality, but guess it just takes one I guess. Still wish I were still pg though. Bt due next friday but since I ovulated on sunday 16th I may poas over the weekend. We are going away not too sure if I will as I dont want to be upset in front of everyone if its a neg.

    dropping in......

I've looked into it too ladies, except we're not getting enough embies to do the testing. My FS said I needed around 8 to 10 embryos preferably, to have a go at the testing, but I'm getting a lot fewer than that and they might not survive the testing and then I will have nothing
hi girls, i thought i would pop in here because i do stalk you all and i wanted to comment on the pgd chat. this is interesting miss B, nothing about numbers was mentioned to us, i got 6 eggs and of that 4 went to testing but i know they would have tested even one or two (although its a flat fee for the pgd)

even though we spent a lot of money of the cycle and didn't even get a transfer it was money well spent because as the fs said by just looking at the embryos he would have put one back and frozen 2 others which would have meant one loss (assuming it stuck initially) and then recovering from that then using a frostie and suffering another loss and repeating again for the next frostie, by that time probably more than 6 months has passed (not to mention the emotional toll and financial for the FET cycles as well), so as much as it hurt getting the result we did for us it really was better to know

i hate that it is so hard for all of us

n2l: let me know if you want to know anything about the pgd, not that im an expert by any means but im happy to help if i can has your fs suggested pgd to you before ? My embryos went to melbourne ivf for testing, not sure if you are with them but they obviously do it if you were going to look into it.

    to everyone else

    Hi ladies!

I've been taking a little break after my last chemical PG- and my DD has tonsillitis

Went to see my FS yesterday- she wants to do some testing for recurrent miscarriage.
She also mentioned PGD for our next cycle.
It's a lot to think about

Has anyone had a contrast US with dye?
Silly question- but how do they put the dye in?

minniemouse, thanks for sharing that. We've always had very few eggs, so it's a good way to think about it. I don't think we're at a point where it would be recommended for us, but if we ever get there...

Emma, sorry, can't help with the u/s. Let us know how you go with the testing.

Afm, I'm just happy to have had somewhere between 6-7 hours sleep last night. Will find out today's b/t results after 1pm. Will be interested to see what they show because my BBT jumped half a degree this morning (but still in the pre-O range because yesterday's was very, very low - lowest I've ever had!). Hopefully the BBT rise means a drop in E2 (which should mean LH surge time).

Emma I have had one done a couple of times to check everything was all good inside. It's like laying for a pap smear, they put a ballon thing in and blow it up to a comfortable level then insert the dye through a little tube, I found the balloon a little uncomfortable for me but the dye doesn't hurt. We could see on an ultrasound what he was doing as we went to a fertility ultrasound specialist for it.
Sorry my description was not very medical but hope it might help you understand it.

Krit - it looks good to me, but unsure of the pregnyl. I know it can stay in your system. Since your 12dpt ring and get a bt. I got my last BFP 12dpt with a bt and pos poas. Technically your 15dpo so you should be able to convince the clinic to put you out of your misery
