Just popping in quickly, I can highly recommend dr Thompson at concept fertility. I had another fs prior to him and was really unhappy. First shot with him and bam I was pregnant, he came recommended to me by another beautiful bb member. If you want any other details feel free to ask! Xx
I have heard that name being thrown around quite a bit, I will PM you

I'm no FS, krikkit, but I was worried about you before your epu when you had nausea & vomiting... then ended up with ohss. IMO a bit more monitoring might have avoided that situation? (sorry if I'm overstepping boundaries, don't mean to offend you or your FS choice) : )

Last year I was fed up with my clinic, but wasn't quite ready to make that switch (I'm a slow decision maker), ended up doing another stim - was a total bust & ended up with 1 embryo. Definately was ready to switch after that. I guess you will know when you have reached that point.
My new clinic just got me to sign a form which they faxed to old clinic, releasing my medical records to them. Alternatively, you can just ask your current clinic for copies of the important stuff (copies of laps, biopsies, bt's etc).
I also had a consult with new FS before switching, to make sure I liked/felt comfortable with them.

Totally agree, I haven't had much support this time around, even through FET and telling them of headaches and constant cramping through all my transfers. I have already complained directly to an FS about lack of support. I honestly thought one of them/some of them would have shown up at the hossy when I OHSS but no one did. In fact the only person that did show up was my aneathatist (sp?) who is independent from my FS to see how I was as a friendly visit not as a doctor. He came in three times to check up on me then tracked down all the drs in the hospital looking after me to sort out what was going on. Ironically the drs who DID look after me were from the new clinic I am thinking about changing to.

Miss.B, I'm doing a natural FET, so if we don't get to transfer it will just be a natural cycle... No meds so far, but I'll get progesterone after transfer.

Krikkit, sounds like a good choice to me. I wouldn't appreciate being palmed off either. Just ask your current FS's office for a (complete) copy of your file. You're entitled to a copy if you want one. If they ask why, just say you're concerned some of the info may be lost in the transfer and would like your own copy for peace of mind. If they push or say it's not necessary, just keep saying you'll feel better if you have your own copy. I've had to ask for test results and the like out of my file from my first FS and next time I need something I'm just going to ask for the entire file. I haven't done it so far because we parted on good terms (the old FS wrote the referral to the new one) and I like the receptionist (she's lovely and was so excited for us when we finally got our BFP with the new Dr).

i can understand why you would be disappointed with that level of support... even at my old clinic my FS came to see me in hospital the next day when i was in there with ohss. anethetist sounds lovely though. hopefully you wont need to worry about switching and this one works out for you. xx

Sorry to hear that Krikkit. Given the booster shots I thought they might say that, but had hoped I was wrong.

krikkit - pft... inconclusive. it's one day, what difference will it make?! how annoying. you're a lot more patient than me, think I might have had a little tanty if they'd made me wait. goodluck for tomorrow. : )

miss b - sorry you're still sick, that sucks. hard to get motivated when you're feeling like that.

sarah - goodluck with you OI cycle.

    hi everyone else. : )

All this really does teach us patience, doesn't it....? hopefully krikkit you can keep yourself busy and just get through it....

Miss B - hope you feel better soon xoxo

    everyone....

AFM.... just waiting for AF to arrive now...... I am hoping it will be in a week or two..... but who knows... my body is all over the place ( . )( . )'s are not leaking much anymore (occasionally a little) so I am hoping that doesn't affect AF's return too much.... getting a bit sick of waiting though... 3 weeks today since the curette - so I am thinking probably she won't be here for another two weeks at least - unless everything is totally whacked out and she is later than that....
totally appreciate you girlies who have LOOOOOONG cycles.... that must be SOOOO annoying.... I do hope that she is back before I go to the FS though, I feel like it would make me feel a bit normal

am going away for a long weekend to Robe, SA - 4WDing... although apparently the weather is supposed to be bad over there... cest la vie.... at least it will get us out of the house for a few days doing something different.....

Wow, so much has happened the last few days. I know I will (have already) lost track a bit but here goes:

Congrats jBear! Sticky vibes comin your way.

Juniper, fx o is confirmed tomorrow. Sometimes the wait for o is worse than the tww.

Missb, hope you feel better soon.
Myturn, enjoy the 4wding, hope the weather holds out for you.
Nire, so sorry to hear your cycle was cancelled. Hope you are doing ok.
Krikkit, bugger about having to wait for the BT, fx for tomorrow though. And on changing, I think if you are not comfortable with your clinic, go with your gut. They cannot withhold your info and besides you are paying for a service and can choose who you pay. They are not doing you favors at their own expense.

Afm, back from china this morning and straight into the office for a nine hour day. Am exhausted! On the train home for a few more hours work before starting my holiday at home. BT and scan tomorrow to chck on follies. Am having typical O pains but more frequent so hopefully these drugs are doing something good. Will be back on for more catch ups soon.

myturn, my d&c cycle was 5 weeks (exactly) and it seems to be a pretty common d&c cycle length. My lap cycle ended up being 6 weeks and that drove me nuts! FX the weather is better than expected this weekend for you.

miloro, that sounds like a massive day. I hope you get to do plenty of relaxing in the coming days to make up for it. Let us know how you go tomorrow.

Afm, I had a +opk last night and today's (lunchtime) opk was still almost positive. It will be interesting to see if tomorrow's b/w confirms O or not since I suspect I may not O until tonight (or even tomorrow morning). That might delay things... I wish I could have done b/w today as well, as I would have been interested to know the LH level. I suspect it might have been higher than yesterday's...
