Luckystrike, your eggs all fertilise. Hope you're feeling ok today, not too sore.

Nicole, I hope your epu went well today. I'll pop back in later and check on you.

Kelly, hope work stress settles down. I think it plays a big part on our emoitonal well-being when you look at the emotions of ttc alone... work stress just adds to it all.

Possums, I find acupuncture really relaxing. The drive home in peak hour traffic un-did all my relaxtion yesterday but when I was there it was bliss! You're on the countdown to next week's bt...

Smithy, glad to see you're underway. Yay!

Bel, how awesome to find your fs so much closer to home - no excuses for being late now, can't blame getting stuck in traffic!

I was jumping each time the phone rang yesterday... a little anxious! 17 eggs out of the 22 had fertilised yesterday and I've been hoping like mad they keep growing! In for an ET today after lunch. I've been drinking so much water... I was worried the acupuncturist would put in her needles and little fountains of water would spurt out! I enjoy my water during the hotter months but don't drink this much when it's colder.

Have a great day girls. Talk soon.

No time for personals, but some good things are happening!!!! Well done

AFM AF came today kind of sort of- it's a bit sketchy IYKWIM. Been on synarel for 2 weeks today, so just waiting for the IVF nurses to call me back to find out the next step. Time is going so slowly.......

Nicole, 13 eggs - that's great news... You're clinic had you in and out very quickly! Much better than sitting around for half the morning waiting. 2 eggs in one follie - does that mean there's twins in your family somewhere along the line... or was that just an extra special little follie?!? Rest up today... and now we wait!! Hope you get lots fertilised.

Neptune, glad you popped in. Hope you're going well, sniffing away.

    Hi Everyone

Firstly, thankyou everyone for the nice words!

NicoleS that was very quick, were you awake during the OPU? 13 is excellent, luck girl!

Kaydee you must be in the 2WW by now! Congratulations and wishing you all the best, and I will be joining you tomorrow!

Just popped in for a quick post.

My transfer is going ahead tomorrow mid morning- yay!
As for for how many eggs fertilised, no idea! Apparently at MIVF you dont find out until the day of transfer. So I called my FS to ask him, but apparently he is in surgery all afternoon and will call me back later.

Oh well, I guess I'll find the results out soon enough.
At least I know there is something there to transfer, that is the main thing!

Hope you are all having a loveley day, I will post after ET tomorrow and let you know how I went.

LuckyStrike, :goodluck2: for your transfer tomorrow morning.
Yes I was awake during the EPU. Last time I had light sedation but this time decided not to have anything. Actually it was very interesting to see what was going on.

Kaydee, How did the ET go today?
As for the 2 eggs in one embie have no idea how/why that happened.

Neptune, all the very best with speaking to FS and your next next.

Neptune, Smithy, Bel hope you are all well and know that I am thinking of you

AFM, Feel great, a little bloated took ages to pee.... (sorry TMI) But am keeping up the water intake.

Hi girls, ET went ahead with no worries today. Saw the 5 cell embryo on a big screen before it was put back in... very exciting! And now the waiting begins!! My BT is scheduled for 26/9.... that seems forever away!

Nicole, do you transfer at 3 days or 5?

Best of luck for tomorrow's ET Luckystrike.

    Hi All,

Kaydee- Congrats 1st on the 17 fertilising...that is so wonderful. And a big congrats on your ET. I hope you cruise through the TWW with fantastic news at the end of it.

Nicole- Congrats on your 13 little ones. You must be really happy with that. Was it painful at all doing EPU without any sedation? I've always had an anasthetic.

Neptune- I definately know what you mean about time going slowly. I hope you got a plan today from your nurses and are going full steam ahead now.

Luckystrike- All the very best for TF tomorrow. Have a relaxing day.

Smithy- Hi my friend. I'm excited things are about to start again for you soon. I've decided I'm going to borrow your catch phrase.."operation give DH a BFP for Christmas"...could there be any better present this year for our DH's??

All my other friends..am thinking of you and sending you hugs.

AFM...pill popping and waiting too. Always waiting waiting waiting!!

    Night All

    Hugs Bel

Sorry ladies, just a quick post for me but I'll check in with you all later.

We have 8 fertilised embies Keep on growing little embies
Other than that, feeling great!! I could have gone back to work today but another day in doors and watching rubbish on tv should be good.
I really hope that this time we will be able to have a couple in the freezer but know that all you need is one....although back up would be awesome!!!

Bel, not painful at all being awake for the EPU. WOuld do it the same way if I ever have to. The best way for me to describe it is try period pain x20. But as soon as the FS was done no pain at all...a little dizzy but after a cuppa I was fine.

Kaydee, my clinic does day 5 blaso transfers. So at this stage we are set for next Monday.

Betta fly but hope you are all well today. Chek in latter :hug

    hello everyone!

Seems as though there has been some good news since my last post.

Kaydee, the 26th will be here before you know it!! for you!!I see you had 3 IUIs before IVF. I think this is what I will do also. I am having kittens about Monday's BT .I know I should be positive BUT I am convinced it will be negative. I haven't had many side effects from the drugs this time around so I really don't know what to expect Monday.

Luckystrike, hope all went well for you today and you are now relaxing:goodluck2:

Nicole, wow! I bet you are pleased with your result! Hope your transfer goes well next week I am considering moving onto IVF very soon so it is good to know that the pain was not that bad!!

I hope you all don't mind me posting here as I am not onto IVF yet, but it is helping me to understand the process a little more as I am so close to taking the next step. I just have very little faith in IUIs for some reason.

As Monday (My BT) fast approaches, I am getting very teary so I think I had better get some new shoes on the weekend. That ALWAYS makes me feel better!

Take care and the best of luck to everyone XXX

    Hi Ladies!

Well 2 of the 4 eggs fertilsed, so I called my FS this morning to tell him that I want both tranfered as I couldnt bare the thought of waiting for 1 embie to thaw.
HOWEVER by the time I got there this morning, only 1 was left, so I got 1 very healthy looking 4-cell embryo transferred
FS said I have a good chance of pregnancy with this, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will get my BFP very soon

BT is booked in for the 25-Sept, so the count down has started! I am praying my little embie will stick and start growing and I will PG SOON!

Smithy good luck on "operation give dh a bfp for xmas" It is a beautiful thought, I hope your dreams come true.

Possums - I'll be be joining you in the 2WW now! Only 5 days to go for you!

NicoleS you are a brave girl, good on you! I hope you dont have to go thru it again and this is the month for you! I'll be seeing you in the 2WW thread on Monday!

Bel - Yes I decided to make the most of the 3 days FS gave me on my certificate and relax! Its been great, watching movies today all alone with my jug of water next to me!

Kaydee - It will be great to exchange notes with you over the next 2 weeks. I'm praying we shake this place up and bring on some BFP's soon!

Hi Everyone else hope all the pill popping and sniffing is going well!

    Hello everyone,

Seems there has been some good news since my last visit here.

Luckystrike, glad the transfer went well for you. Hope your BT brings you that

Kaydee, the 26th will be here before you know it! :goodluck2: I see you had 3 iuis before moving onto IVF. I think I may do the same. I have very little faith in IUIs for some reason and I am having kittens about the results of my BT on Monday I know I should try and stay positive, but I am convinced I am going to get a Only one way to find out!

Nicole - wow! You must have been pleased with your results. I too may be moving onto IVF shortly so I am pleased to hear that it is not as painful as I had feared. with the next steps....

I hope you all don't mind me posting here as I am not onto IVF as yet BUT this is helping me to understand the process so much better. I am SO close to moving onto IVF because as I said above, I am not overly confident about these IUIs.

As Monday fast approaches (my BT) I am getting very teary. I guess I should go and by some new shoes on the weekend. That always makes me feel better!!

Good luck and best wishes to everyone.
