Ladies, a very quick one to say THANK YOU for your encouraging advice and wishes regarding AF and cramping, I'm feeling much better about the whole thing. And thanks also for all your kind words, they really mean a lot to me and made ne a little teary reading them all!!

I'm off to bed but will be up early to catch up on everyone.

Nix - good luck!!!!! Have everything crossed for you and will be thinking of you. I'm quite lucky in that I can access this site from my iPhone so i'll be checking all morning to see how you go.

Nix- Thanks for the advice about POAS I think I will do one next Wednesday. I can?t wait to hear your news today!!!!
Hope you are feeling Nauseas this morning!

Lise- I am so sorry to hear about your friend passing, I hope you are feeling a little better today, I know people have answered this already, but the cramping is very normal. Only two days and you will be with your DH and it will be two days closer to your BT.

Airline-I am actually a closet POAS once I got the positive last time, I did a test every day until the blood test and every day until the next blood test. Some I didn?t even tell DH about because he was getting a little annoyed with me. In the end I got a bit annoyed with myself. At the moment nothing would beat the feeling of seeing those two little lines.

Good luck with the results today, I understand how difficult it is to remain calm it is an extremely difficult time, the uncertainty form day to day about the results of scans, eggs, fertilization and viable embryos.

Motherhood- Hope the higher dose works for you. I started on 300 and finished on 450 and while I was bloated and sore, I found my mood was worse when I was on lucrin before the fsh injections.

Tracey- Good to hear you are going well, you are sounding positive.

Coral- Good luck with the scan today!

Juniper- Hope you caught that egg!

I hope everyone has a great day, it is Friday yay!!!

well ladies...most of you seem to be busy at work..but popping in to say I'm quite excited about the scan, and I had to share with you guys, cos DH is working and will miss this one. He doesn't very often and isn't pleased about it, but has only just gone back after A/L. I'm feeling a bit big this morning although that could be the 'holiday' food I've been eating. I swear I've been eating like it's the last time I can eat sushi and drink wine...between every cycle...then of course there's the 'comforting' chocolate.

did anyone see the article of the woman who just wrote a book about her life...she has had 15 abortions in 17 years! oh and has gone on to have 2 girls....sometimes you just wonder don't ya?

LISE- I"m glad all the messages are helping you get through the difficult time right now. God, if I had access to this site, I'd be on it EVEN MORE!!

JUNIPER - HI!!!! how're you trvlling?

    NIX - holding breath here!..........................

Sonya - Reading your post and knowing your started at about the same level has made me feel quite hopeful that I too could possibly get the same numbers you had which would be absolutely fantastic. Wont get my hopes up too much of course but it definately helps me to stay even more positive about this second cycle

    Thanks Heaps!!

    Good Morning Ladies!

Nix - A BIG GOOD LUCK for TODAY!!!!

AFM - Well..... I had my BT and scan this morning and....... 20 follies!!!!! So happy with the result and I guess that explains why I have been so bloated . FS said that they were all ranging from 16 - 18mm and that they will use the ones at 18mm and up. He said they usually grow at 2mm p/day so it gives the 16mm ones time to catch up before EPU on Monday - yay!

Now I just have to keep my fingers crossed that we get a good sample from DH as this is where we tend to fall down....

Motherhood-I am so glad my post helped you feel better. I certainly draw energy and support from the experiences of others on this site. I was a bit skeptical when I first started lurking but I really think it is one of the best choices I made to help me cope with the ups and downs.

Coral- Wow what great results and you were on less than half the dose I was on. Just goes to show how individual we all are! Only two days to go till EPU?????..

Tracey- I think I gained about 4 kgs and I am still trying to get rid of some of the pimples!, I couldn?t do up my pants and had to buy new ones  I only hope that they were a good investment for the next nine months???..

Airline- Good results for your scan, hope they keep growing over the weekend?.

Nix- I hope you are well.

Hi mitf - yeah I would check with the clinic if I was you. My clinic has gotten dates wrong before but I pick up on it very quickly. Don't want to wait any longer than I have to.

Break has been good, thanks for asking. Have been lurking on BB anyway, trying to keep up with everyone's progress. I'm just waiting for AF now (which I expect will be here in the next couple of days), so I can start our next FET. Have already been away with DH on our trip to Sydney actually. Was a nice break for a couple of days. But am back to reality now and ready to get back into another cycle.

Will be keeping my eye on your progress in the TWW. Good luck.

    Wishes xoxo

    Thumbs down It's a BFN :-(

    Hey Girls,

Sorry to keep you in suspense. Found out as late as I could on Friday around 3pm that it was a negative - no implantation at all. I was devastated and inconsolable towards the end of the phone call. Had to try sort myself out somewhat to get back to my desk grab my stuff and get out of work. I hate how I have to find out there, like this isn't hard enough.

Anyway - I just couldn't get myself to the PC on Friday and then I was busy yesterday getting my hair done in the morning, bit of shopping and then had to get ready for my friends wedding. Was a lovely afternoon - forgot to mention it was also the christening of her daughter - which was not too hard on the heart strings - though we had a couple at our table who had a 5 month old son - he was so gorgeous - that was a little hard.

Anyway - what can I say .... I felt so empty and detatched from everything - I just can't believe how out of our control this all is. And not only facing the fact that it hasn't happened now, but having to realise if we still want this we have to go through all of this again (we have no emby's left now) & knowing then there is still no guarantee. Thinking about another round of syneral makes me cringe. And then there is the cost. I was not as fazed about the cost when we went into this but I think I was delerious thinking it would not take that long. But now having to pay another $5300...(around $1700 out of pocket) just kills me. That off the mortgage would be so much better. And interest rates going up & we never did budget for all this extra spend....its so worrying. But what can you do!

Still feel numb today but not sad enough for tears - think I expelled all those on Friday. DP is really dissapointed too - though seems to be taking it better than I.

Anyway girls - was just a quick 'me' post to update you, sorry no personals from me today. We are going to make the most of the sunshine and get outdoors with our only baby - our precious furbaby! Who now seems to be our only type of child we can get!

BTW - did POAS and was neg - think that may have prepped me a bit better so I wasn't so shocked and also I didn't have any nausea - Thursday must have just been a weird day!

Hope you are all doing well.

Nix, I'm so sorry to hear that. Since my work know about the IVF I always arrange to work at home or take the day off on beta day. I just couldn't bear to go to work on that day and I wouldn't get much work done anyway...

So sorry Nix that is a hard blow I feel for you hun, as I went through the exact same thing not long ago as you probably know. We didnt get any eggs to freeze and that was the hardest part.
Im looking into medical loans which may be an option for you but I know its still money you have to have - it sucks, so sorry. Save save save and you'll get there. Hang in there, we'll hopefully go through another cycle together soon
And in the mean time we'll give lots of hugs to our furbabies.

Nix- There is not much I can say except I am so very sorry that this time it was not to be. It doesn't matter how you prepare yourself, receiving that terrible phone call is still devestating. I was at work both times I got the call. I am definately waiting until after work next time. I hope you are enjoying the sunshine and that your furbaby is giving you lots of hugs.

Nix - I am so sorry to hear that it's a BFN. These things never get any easier. At least you got to find out before the wedding..... I hope you managed to let your hair down and try and forget about it all. Signing up for another Stim is a daunting process - physically, emotionally and financially..... It's amazing how strong us BB girls need to be. I hope you are feeling better soon. I pray that with perseverance we will all achieve you BFP's soon. xo

Wishes - It's amazing how quickly time seems to have flown. Glad to hear you and DH enjoyed the trip to Sydney. GL with the arrival of AF and your FET. I hope the TTC break has done wonders for your body. it will be a BFN this time around.

Nix ~ so sorry to hear about your news. Hope you are doing ok I am starting to learn that dissappointments like this don't get easier with each cycle - emotionally, physically and financially.

This is my first IVF cycle and I have yet to deal with such news, but what I have experienced on BB so far is some amazing women who have displayed so much determination, strength and courage to deal with anything IVF throws at them. I hope you can draw on this also to help you through this difficult time.

    Thinking of you.
