Oh we will be tww buddies my turn! It's a shame about DSD waiting outside, what excuse will you use?

Yeah frustrating the way the timing has worked out, but he is going over to watch the moto gp with mates and its been planned for months. I think he was a bit upset this morning know he was leaving Quinn and I and that he wouldn't be with me for transfer. He rubbed my tummy and said look after my little boy or girl.

It is a day 5 transfer FX it made it to blast - the nurse didnt know how they were growing, but they must be growing cause they set a transfer time..... The were trying to grow out 4 so we will see how they ended up tomorrow.

Thanks guys, I'm anxious, but trying to be calm about it all.

So a couple questions. With a FET do they thaw all embies? We have 3 on ice so not sure if they would thaw all three in the hope that 1 is good enough for Tx. Also what drugs do you take or not compared to a IVF cycle? Mod you just plod along until they make the decision about the embies?

Myturn, hopefully they are all behaving themselves and get to day 5. FX!

Glorious, they start with the best looking embie and if it thaws out ok and provided you're only transferring 1, they stop at that. If the first one fails to thaw, they thaw out another, and keep thawing them out until one thaws out ok. In my FET cycles, my clinic doesn't make you take any drugs/support. It depends on the individual though, if they take over your cycle because you're not ovulating regularly, they will make you take the support drugs up until the 3 month mark or so. As I ovulate ok, in my 2 FET cycles, I din't take anything, and that included the crinone. For my piece of mind, my IVF nurse agreed for me to take the crinone next time, she said it can't do any harm.

^^^^^^ What Miss B said except my clinic always gives you progesterone support, whether you ovulate or not.

Thanks so much for the well wishes, was seriously weird being there without DH this morning. I had the same nurses that I had when I had my FET with Quinn, they all remembered me and were wanting to see pictured of him etc, one even anted to come down and have a cuddle in the waiting room where my mum had him

My turn - I had a dream about you last night! I dreamt that you, Miss B and I all met up for lunch in Melbourne again and were all pregnant!!! I have a good feeling about your cycle. Im coming over to Melb early next year again so fingers crossed the dream comes through xxx

I ovulate but not regularly so I guess they will have to do something to get me to that point.. Would it be clomid or pregnyl?? Or a different drug altogether.

Glorious I was on a drug called Progynova, it was a tablet three times a day as my first FET was natural and I got to day 21 and I still hadn't ovulated yet so they cancelled that cycle and I started again next cycle with support and then I was on pessaries 2 times a day also I can't remember at what point I started them.

Glorious with my FET they choose 4 to thaw and see what happens for the next 4 days. For other FETs they defrost the night before transfer. I don't know if they would try another one if that didn't thaw properly. I guess it would depend on when you lost it (cause you wouldn't want to miss the ovulation window either)

    AFM....

    I am PUPO - with 2, day 4 embryos

    1 x 8 cell and 1 x 9 cell

FS suggested 2 as the 4 thawed are not growing as well as they like
Will find out on Monday whether they other 2 are suitable to freeze.
    Transfer number 9 - embryos number 10&11...

    Wish this was easier.

Glorious I had a complete medicated FET as that's what my FS prefers. I was on HRT (oestrodial, Ralovera (progesterone tabs), progesterone pessaries, prednisone, feldene, aspirin and Clexane injections. I had pregynl after fet x 3). Our embyros were frozen at day 3 so the way our clinic do it is they ask how many you want to thaw but suggested 5 to us (we had 11 frozen) and see which ones grow best out of those. If they all made it to blastocyst (which ours didn't, only 2 did) they can re freeze them again on day 5.

Congrats Amy and My Turn on being PUPO!! Sending lots of sticky vibes, good luck in your tww!
