I just did another HPT - more sensitive than the last and there's only the tiniest faintest glimmer of a maybe-I'm-imagining-it line so I'm thinking it's time to let go of the false hope.
Shades : I cannot stress enough my love, you need a BT .. If it were me, I would be going to a local GP with a BT facility attached, and get it ticked "urgent", you will no either way by tommorow night..
Thank you for the advice WLAB, but I really think I do know for sure at this point. The nausea and tender bbs have subsided, the HPT was pretty much negative and I'm still bleeding/cramping. I don't drink/smoke/do drugs/do anything usually that would be considered a risk factor so even if I am still pregnant I'm not jeopardizing it. I'm still taking my daily folate and eating healthily. If I need painkillers I take only panadol, and I'm still having less than 50mg of caffeine a day, if that much. There's nothing I would do different whatever the BT showed, so is there any point?
Shades - I cannot stress enough do not poas - they are unreliable, they may be reading residual hcg from your injections. I notice your ticker says day 4 - have you have full flow bleeding yet????
Hi WLAB - yes this thread is very cosy. I feel like I dont have a home yet and unsure where to go. Are you on the IVF thread? Yes - I start day 21 of this cycle on the syranel nasel spray, then wait for period, the start fsh injections as per an IUI cycle. Im glad to throw myself straight into a new cycle - patience is not my virtue and I just wanna be a mum!!;);)
Diamond - my injections are only 5000 ... last cycle I had a trigger, did a 10iu/L HPT at 11 DPO and it was negative so I figured this cycle it would have well and truly cleared out by 17 DPO which was when I tested. And my AF is NEVER late, so when it ran 3 days over I knew something was up.
My ticker automatically resets from the first day of full bleeding, which was heavy on day one and two, then spotting/light bleeding on days 3 and 4.
Shades : Well one good thing is that you know it can happen, thats a start, I hope Feb 09 is good for you
Diamond: The original thread I was in was LTTTC Ass Conc Oct 08 - then on to the TWW Thread, then I found this thread as I was having IUI, not sure where I will lay my hat this time, Im just lurking atm, I am 41 so I have met sum lovely ladies in "older ladies ttc" and TTC after m/c, I have found reading IVF with PGD very informative, and all the girls in there are very supportive, as you know, I am flat out remembering to inject myself with puregon, so I find it hard keeping up with the bigger threads, I am currently dropping hints to DH that I am ready to start on a Flare Cycle on the 9th Jan, he wants me to wait till the 9th Feb ... so I will be ready to lay my little nest in a thread, (DH willing on the 9th JANUARY 2009 .... BRING ON THE BFP'S ...)

I'm deverstated - tried to do half day at work but only managed a quarter. I will probably be lurking for a while need it all to sink in and get through christmas - i so thought this would be it but...........

You and me both Bella. Except for me it was last night. Had a BFN on Saturday but was still hopeful when AF didn't arrive. Unfortunately no luck for us either. So at least one more natural cycle before IUI in late Jan (after current cycle). I'll be joining WLAB in the BBT charting. I've found fertility friend really good actually.
I agree - bring on the BFPs for 2009!!!!!:grouphug: for all of us. Even if it feels like :wall: most of the time. It'll be worth it in the long run.

just wondering if anyone has used synarel for a down reg iui? if so, how many days late was AF? I'm on CD 39 with a little cramping (like O- but bt said i had O-ed between 13-17th of DEC). I have to test tomorrow (poas) as I am ment to start puregon on 31st. What happens if poas is neg? has this happened to anyone? this is my 1st down reg cycle.

Hope everyone had a wonderful christmas.
Toby - i have just done a down reg cycle with syneral. I started on CD21- 1 week later they repeated my bloods p4 e2 and hcg to make sure my levels were basline and to ensure i wasn't pregnant. My levels p4 and e2 were still a bit high so i did another week of spray and was due for repeat bloods on CD28 - AF arrived CD28 they did my bloods anyway and they were basline so i started my injections on CD30 (which was really CD2 ).
What do you mean you are POAS - hpt? they need to make sure your p4 and e2 are basline (which is the purpose of the syneral) before they take over with the puregon. I was also told you may not definately get a period and thats why they just keep an eye on your levels because once they are basline you can start the puregon. Is there anyone you can ring? Hope you have great success with your cycle mine worked really well - well i didn't get a bfp BUT i had lots of nice follices etc!

thanks for the relpy Bella. Well Af arrived this arvo, so will cont. with sniffing and be gin injecting on wed. My bt on cd 21 showed i hadnt ov. yet a week later they showed i had - was hoping a miracle happened during that week - naturally. I started sniffing on cd 28 - perhaps thats y im soooo late. I dont go for another bt until the 5th. The reason why i was so confused is that i was told i would get af and it would be heavy but everyone on here has said otherwise! oh well.
Bella are u in the 2 ww? I was also on 3 cycles of clomid and hav had 1 antag iui. Is this the 1st down reg for you?

Just read over everybody's updates. Bella, sorry about the bad news. I was really hopeful for you on this cycle. Just remember, when it seems the most hopeless a miracle can happen.
Diamond, good luck darlin' - my thoughts are with you for your first IVF cycle. Please feel free to chat your head off if you feel at all worried. This journey can seem lonely and frightening at times.
AFM - I am still pregnant. Boobs really heavy and sore. No other symptoms other than tiredness. I understand B6 helps fend off morning sickness. I take high doses of that, and I'm thankful. I cant stress enough to all of you how much I believe B6 got my across the line.
In other news, my darling dog died yesterday. I am absolutely devastated. Trying so hard not to cry too much for the baby's sake, but honestly, I am heartbroken.

OP - Congrats on your BFP!!! how exciting! So sorry to hear about your dog. As they are members of the family it makes that time very hard to cope with. - your dog will always be by your side. My thoughts are with you. Take Care!
