    Hi all,
Sorry to all those who just got BFNs - it's torture!
I'm new here and hope you don't mind me jumping in - am I doing this right? I've been TTC #1 for 2 years now

For some reason I took the last BFN really really hard. The girl at work who got pregnant her 1st month of trying and is complaining about every aspect of her pregnancy probably didn’t help! I’ve been getting teary at everything and have felt so lonely! I have to admit I’ve been stalking this forum a bit and I think it’s really helped. Made me cry, but helped. So THANK YOU! Although I wouldn’t wish this torture on anyone, it was comforting to see that every feeling, challenge and loss of sanity I’ve experienced throughout this process, someone else has felt too... and understands.

Fingers crossed 2012 will be the year for all of you. I’d love to share your ups and downs and hear all the yukky details (all the fun procedures that have become standard for us but gross our “normal” friends out!! Ha ha). I’m scheduled for my second IUI between xmas and new year as long as my body behaves and doesn’t ovulate on a public holiday!

Bring on the New Year and bring on the baby luck!

Hello Mich8 and welcome to our little thread I hope you will find the support you need here. Yes we will make you cry but hopefully we can help you to laugh sometime too. It is a horrible hard journey and it has helped me beyond words to have these amazing women to turn to.

    Hi all,

BFN again today so Santa did not fill my wish list, i'm glad I went to the bottle shop already! I'll see how I go with this AF as to whether I try in Jan or take the month off till IUI. I wouldn't mind a break.

I will be away from my computer for the next 2 days so

I want to wish all my beautiful BB friends a very, very happy Christmas and
I hope that for all of us 2012 is filled with peace, love and baby joy. XXX

    Hi,

Sunbeam, so sorry to hear Hopefully a drink or many will help you muster up some Christmas cheer - difficult I know!

minniemouse - thank you for the welcome I see you're scheduled for a lap and d&c in March. I had that in July - no pregnancies since but it improved my cycle lots. Hopefully "putting the car in for a full service" as my FS called it will be just what you need...

    Merry christmas!!

    hi girls,

for all, i hope you have all managed to get through christmas ok

joeve: yay on the positive opt, hope you got lots of bding in !

sunbeam and saffy: im still sending you 2 :hugs:

Mich: yep scheduled for a lap, I don't really think I need it but I have had 2 9 week miscarriages and no d&c so I guess there is the possibility that has caused a problem. How are you going ?

    hi to everyone else

afm: i am so confused as to what my body is doing, im day 10 and yet my body is giving me signs that it is going to ovulate soon ! im on a natural cycle so im not sure what is going on ?! im thinking we should bd tonight to at least have one in the bank just in case my opt turns positive tomorrow, at the moment its negative but kinda getting some colour to it so confusing ! i started vitex last week but surely that isn't doing anything yet, from what i understand of it it takes a few months to work well (in the people it actually works well in). why can't things be the same each month so i know whats going to happen and when gggrrr

Hi ladies, hope you all had a fantastic Christmas

Welcome Mich8 hope your stay isn't long.

Minnie, I know how you feel with crappy inconsistency with cycles! Hope you got all the BDing in you could. I'm doing well after the HyCoSy, hope it does the trick.

AFM: I'm feeling kinda down today, the year is almost over. 2012 will be our third year TTC. I have sent away for the child protection checks, booked with the counsellor, had the HyCoSy and now I just need to get police checks done. We should be ready to start IUI early February (although the thought of another catheter scares the sh*t out of me) I think I might start OPK's next week because I could ovulate anywhere between CD20 to CD45. It's ridiculous! I think I only have about 15 OPK's left so I will need to order more from eBay.

    Hi,
Thanks everyone for making me feel so welcome I hope xmas was good for you all.

Minnie - Did that line on the OPK get any darker? Vitex didn't do much for me but I've heard good things
Sunbeam - I really hope you enjoyed your Christmas drinkies. Have you made any decisions about trying in Jan?
Saffy - Hi, thanks for the welcome!
Tasha - Hi! So sorry you're feeling down. A milestone, Christmas and waiting for Feb to come around must be really hard I'm so glad Christmas is over! I've only had 1 IUI and had heard they were a breeze but apparently I have a "difficult" cervix too. So it was a little painful and there was some bleeding BUT it was over really quickly and definitely wasn't terrible. So hopefully it will be tolerable for you too!

AFM i'm on day 11 and according to BT today, nothing is happening, which is strange cos recently I've been ovulating day 12 or 13. Just when things were getting predictable...

joeve: we did get one in last night just in case. did you notice any difference in ovulation on clomid ?

tasha: the end of the year and no further along with this journey is upsetting i find to you. in regards to your other thread, are you on metformin for the pcos ? when you say you have CM issue do you mean lack there of ? what are using to treat the BV (have you actually had it confirmed as BV with a swab ?).

mich: im with you on the weird cycles, hopefully yours cooperates soon

afm: my opt this morning seemed on its way to positive but this afternoons was fainter so i have no idea what is going on, my right side is really sore so i think i will ovulate from that side, wish i had an ultrasound machine at home so i could see what was going on in there ! its so early for ovulation yet for me, so strange !

Mini I actually think I o the same but my opk went missing in the post so by the time I got them they were aost positive anyway. My nipples are really sore today I have read it can be a clomid side effect. Just keep dtd and hopefully there will be lots of swimmers waiting for that egg!!!

joeve: i get sore nipples post ovulation on clomid, for some strange reason i also have them now & haven't ovulated, maybe its the vitex ?

last night opt was so close to positive, hopefully it will be today
