Thanks Joeve! Is tomorrow day 1 of the 2ww for you?
I'm CD 11 today. I'm in two minds about dtd before IUI. A couple of the nurses have told us to abstain for 2 days before the IUI to get optimal sperm count and a couple of others have said to go for it?!?
    Any thoughts?

Mich- I don't know which is the best way to go re DTD, sorry, but about ovulating early, I always do, about CD11-12. I have gotton pregnant naturally twice while ovulating then so I don't think there is anything wrong with it and whenver i have scans my lining is always good so don't worry about being an early ovulate, it means less hanging around

Hi everyone else, I had my last pill today- woohoo!, on nightshift for a couple of nights so AF should make an appearance then its onto jabbing my heart out!! Scary.
Hope everyone had a good weekend xx

Joeve and Mich, well done on the ovulating FX for you guys

Saffy, woohoo for last pill. Good luck with the jabbing

AFM: Well I had a positive OPK at work today at about 1:30pm, but the strip didn't look right as it was soaking up the pee. I've watched it that many times I know what it should look like before it gives you the result and it was slightly different, like it was having trouble travelling up the strip. I was excited, but I have just done another test tonight at 7pm and it is negative And I ALWAYS have at least 2 days of positives. Maybe it was a faulty OPK? But I also did have some pains this afternoon at work. So I don't know.....

Ooh Saffy, last pill! Glad to hear about the early ovulation. I've never had a scan so don't really know what's going on in there!
Tasha - that sux about the confusing OPK, that's the last thing you need! Is there any way you can get a blood test?

Well, I think I jinxed myself on the ovulating thing. My 2nd line on the OPK was almost but not positive around midday but now is really light again Guess I'll see what the bt says tomorrow and just keep on peeing!!

Damn OPK's giving us the stuff around! Why? Why so cruel!? I have been waiting 40 days and then this happens. I tried to explain to DH how it feels. I said to him 'Imagine your waiting on a package in the mail, you check the mail EVERYDAY for 40 days, just waiting for your package" It was the only way I could get him to understand

    Hi Lovelies,

Wow it got busy in here quick. What's with all the long cycles and OPKs coming and going, there must be some crazy in the cosmos!!

Tasha - You will so not know yourself when you move to IUI and O by cd14, it is soooo much better . I hope this cycle gets its bum in gear for you soon you must be keeping the OPK company in business!

Saffy - I hope AF comes and goes promptly so you can get on with growing some awesome follies

Joeve - Yay for a fantastic follie, great lining and awesome EWCM, the fertility trifecta

Mich - I hope your OPK comes back strong today . I was told to hold off before IUI but go for your life afterwards but then my donor had very low count so I guess it depends.

    Hey Minnie

AFM - Well the voice in my head was right about not quitting. I had a positive OPK last night and again this morning. I can't believe 5 days ago I was about to start the pill thinking this cycle was a dud and tomorrow I will be in the TWW . I did an insem last night and we'll do one again this evening. The O pains have been very painful on and off to the point I've needed a panadol or 2, ouchy!. CD27 today!! I had a pg from a cd25 O so I'm not worried about it being so late just glad it did happen. Looks like I'll have a few TWW buddies after all
I had a great weekend away, ate, drank, swam, paddled, flew my stunt kite, went to the RSL and bet on horses with silly names, chilled out and watched movies, perfect.

Sunbeam - your weekend sounds like absolute bliss! Good work eggie for finally co-operating!
Tasha - that's a brilliant way to describe the frustration of what you're going through to your DH. I think all the little details of the ttc business are quite abstract and men do much better with concrete (simple ) things. I'll have to remember that one in future!

My bt showed I'm not surging yet but should soon. Estrogen is over 1000 which is really good for me. My peak's usually in the 700s. So, another bt tomorrow (took the girl 3 attempts on 2 arms to get the vein today- fun times, ha ha!)

    Sunbeam, that's fantastic. Good luck

Mich, ouch! I had that a few times, not fun That's great news about the oestrogen though.

    Hi everyone else

AFM: Still negatives for me. Im sure that was a false positive, I usually have sore nipples after O and they are fine today. Plus the bank called me today to tell me that they have denied our personal loan We already have one but wanted to borrow more for a newer car and even though our circumstances haven't changed, they denied it. Feel like absolute crud

oh no Tasha, thats bad news, I'm sorry the bank are being jerks, greedy things.

I was just looking over costs for this stim cycle which i have to pay in a few days- ouch. Feel sick about that money.

I am planning my 40th birthday ( its in June but need something to look forward to), we are probably going to go to Hamilton Island- I'm excited already, beter start doing some extra shifts though, after forkng out so much for ivf this year already!

Good luck everyone with BTs, Oing, IUI and twws- whatever everyone is up to!

Tasha sorry the opks aren't doing behaving for you.. And massive poo poo to the bank ;(
Saffy yay for your holiday plans! Sounds great!
I have some twinges on the left side where the follie came from I can't talk DH into dtd he just looked at me like it's not going to happen.... Hope yesterday and the day before was enough

Tasha - I'm sorry the bank would not come to the party, does not bare thinking about how much money this has cost us all so far.

Saffy - I hope you don't have to spend to much more to get your forever bub. Hamilton Island will be an awesome place to have your 40th.

Mich - I hope today's bt says the eggie is on its way, I hope your veins are more cooperative too, I have the same problem, tricky little things.

Joeve - I don't get it I used to think guys just couldn't get enough but I now know better than to ask them to perform more than 2 days in a row! Let hope we both got plenty of little swimmers in. Did you get anymore O pains?

AFM - Bit confused today. My O pains stopped about 7 pm last night but no rise in temp this morning. If it is not up by tomorrow morning I'm going to have to assume that even after 27 days of working up to it my follie never actually popped! Going to see a psychic this arvo maybe she'll know what the hell is going on cos I sure don't!!

Saffy - Hamilton Island is beautiful! We went there for our honeymoon, it was so relaxing and everywhere is so clean and tidy. And be sure to hire the buggies, they are great fun!

Joeve - My DH does the same thing, you can't bloody win! I'm sure it will be enough

Sunbeam - Oh I hope that is not the case. FX for temp rise.

AFM: Well my OPK's are slowly getting darker. I always have the second line, but then it goes really really dark when I do O, it doesn't usually build up like this. I have applied for a loan with another bank and it's basically been approved, just gotta bring in the documentation! Yay

What is with this month? Nothing is going as planned with missing eggs, AFs and DHs everywhere!!
I hope everything resolves for all really soon.

My OPK was very positive last night so I'm expecting a call to go in for IUI this arvo... BUT my partner has done his back and is on the couch barely able to move. So I don't know if it's going to happen!?!
