I told you she was special bet no one elses mum is giving such priceless advice!

Well my egg is on permanent leave this month! My follie has only grown 2mm in a week so it looks like its a dud. I'll know more when my bt results are back this arvo but unless its the worlds slowest growing follie it looks like I'm out for this cycle . Still I shouldn't complain this'll be my first anovulatory cycle in over 18 months so not bad for me. If my bt shows no hope I have 2 options, I can play out the cycle which will probably (based on past history) run to cd46 or as FS is suggesting I go on the bcp for 3 weeks to shut down all the follies and then start my IUI cycle. Its only a difference of 3 or 4 days also I can take dufaston to ensure I have a lining shedding af which will give me much more peace of mind going into my next cycle so I'm thinking that's the way I'll go. I've been reluctant to take bcp in the past as the last time I came off it (1999) it took 10 months for af to show up again but if af is being brought on by pills too I guess I don't have to worry about this.
With 4 weeks with no TTC I have absolutely no excuse not to diet and exercise my butt off (literally!), but only after this weekend on the drink with my bestie up the sunny coast.

Joeve and Mich its over to you for this month, show us how its done girls

Sorry about the ramble. Thank goodness the sunshine is back to lift my spirits. I'm off to plant heaps of flowers in my neglected old veggie patch (inspiration from Minnie )

Sunbeam - oh no so sorry about your eggie Even if it only happens every 18 mths its still annoying! You're allowed to complain.

Saffy - welcome back from your little holiday in "normalville". What's it like there? Ha ha. Sometimes eating, drinking and being merry can be just as good for your health as diet and exercise - I'm sticking by that!! Yay, I'm excited to start following your next cycle Sunday!

Joeve - Well I don't know anything about what clomid does to blood hormone levels, but in terms of normal levels I think yours look good Prog looks normal for pre ovulation, LH looks normal for pre-surge and I think FSH under 10 is good? Please feel free to correct me people!! I usually just get told estrogen and LH.

    Just a quickie.

Hi Saffy good to see you sweetie. I will definitely be eating and drinking and having a merry time this weekend while I'm away, we'll see how I feel on monday heheeh.

Joeve - I don't know much about levels but I'm sure its on the net somewhere. When do you get to talk to FS?

AFM - FS has siad my hormone levels match having a follie of 13mm so I can carry on and see what happens or just quit this one and start the bcp. My feeling is if it is so slow maybe its not right and I should just cut my losses rather than dragging it out. I think that is what I'll do I'd rather not risk trying with a not great egg and possibly ending up with a not great embryo. This is sooo not how I expected today to go, just when you think you have this stuff down pat it proves you wrong, again!!!

Sunbeam - sorry about the crappy follie. I think my egg is MIA with yours Have a fantastic relaxing time (jealous!)

Minnie - Glad you have decided what's next on the agenda, good luck with it all, your FS sounds good too.

Joeve - Don't know much about prog before ovulation. I used to get day 21 prog tests and mine were always between 100-200! I think that was a bit weird though, normal, but not too common.

Saffy - sounds devine!! Good luck with the new cycle

Mich8 - Yes in VIC you need police checks, child protection checks and counselling!! How are you travelling so far?

AFM: Yep, you guessed it, still no O!! My opk's are getting slightly darker so maybe soon I hope. I'm not too fussed because the next cycle will hopefully be the IUI

Back again. I'm sorry if you are over hearing about my egg drama today I feel like its been "all about me" today, but its not over yet!!!

I have had strong o pains for the last 3 hours so I called my FS's midwife to ask if that is normal if nothing is happening and she said it could be but why not come in for one more bt tomorrow so we know for sure. I felt so much happier at this idea cos there was very loud voice in my head going "its not over yet, just wait". So at least this way I'll feel like it is an informed decision not just a 'pick one' kind of choice.

Joeve - Good luck for tomorrow's scan I hope your follie is big and fat and ready to go.

Minnie - No my mum is not onto something she is just crazy!

Tasha - I'm sorry your eggie is playing games too, could they be more frustrating?

Hi all, I hope you're all having good weekends We had our first skinnydip in our pool since moving in here last night! We'd been previously deterred by the two storey houses surrounding our little house but it was so hot last night we just went for it! Ha ha

I'm feeling kind of jealous of Sunbeam on her mini holiday ha ha, hope you're having a blast. And hope that your egg keeps growing but doesn't pop til you're back!
Joeve and Tasha - any O news?
Minnie - what date's your FS appointment about IVF? There's always got to be a count down to something, ha ha!
Saffy - not long til the action starts, oooh!
AFM - CD 10 - I'm back on track (the relaxed attitude lasted about 2 days ). BT showed estrogen's rising, OPK line is pretty light today, next BT Monday. Boring!

Mich go you!! Love it and yay to ov impending...
Minnie thinking of you lots hope you are ok
    Tasha anything happening for you?
    Sunbeam thinking of you too
Fs said lining was great 9mm I think and I had on Thursday a 18mm follie on left side. Opk was borderline pos yesterday but def positive today so DH kindly obliged and we have 1x bd under our belt as of this afternoon lol
I have had tonnes of ewcm this month which is surprising as most things I have read say clomid can reduce it... But happy with it nevertheless!

Yay for O Joeve - you can lead the way again this month EWCM is always a positive sign!
My OPK is almost positive already!! Feeling a little bit guilty for those who have to wait and wait
It always kind of comes out of nowhere and I wasn't scheduled for a BT today. I have a feeling I may get another one of those calls after tomorrow's BT telling us to come in for IUI immediately. I'll never complain about ovulating early but I wonder if I'm popping out good eggs or not?
Hope everyone's having a great weekend!
