I love the pictures on your list Joeve - so cute - so just kept it. Please let me know if I've made any mistakes or missed anything everyone!
I have no symptoms today. I had a little bit of cramping the last 2 days but often do. It might just be AF and the progesterone fighting for domination!
How's the high dose of clomid going Joeve? Any symptoms Minnie and Sunbeam?
Tasha - I'm so gald something is finally going to happen for you. IUI will seem like a breeze after waiting so long to O all the time.
Mich - No that is a peserie assisted prog count not that good by myself. The midwife was impressed by the number and said she'd cross her fingers for me which Kind of gave me a bit of hope for an hour or so but I'm back to total doubt now. No symptoms that are not caused by the prog. I don't think I've ever noticed it make me hungry, well done for not giving into it though. Are you going to test before your bt?
AFM - I watched a show last night about a guy who lived on juices for 60 days to get himself healthy (he had a life threatening illness and was on a lot of pills) and it was quite impressive. I think if this is not a successful cycle I might give it a go but only for 3 days or so. I started a bit of a health kick this month and have cut out all gluten, sugar, alcohol and junk food for the whole of Feb. I have now been 4 days without chocolate and have not even thought about it. The gluten is not to bad been trying tho do that for a while but it was so hard to find foods in the supermarket that do not list sugar as an ingredient! Going to have a smoothy now, yum.
The list looks great, thanks Joeve and Mich for managing it for us
I think I mentioned a few weeks ago about a client who has 2 young kids and she mentioned that she is 51. I had to ask her and she told me she married late had IVF at 45 got 5 eggs which made 3 embryos that fresh cycle produced her daughter who is 5 and she then did a FET at 48 and got her son who is 2. Let hope it does not take us that long but good on her.
joeve: im sure your DH understands if you were a bit snappy with him
Tasha: im sure sunbeam is right, iui will be so much better with closer monitoring and no more guesswork
sunbeam: good luck with the new eating plan, i couldn't cut out sugar lol good news on the progesterone result too, fingers crossed for you
saffy: good luck with your scan
mich: nothing much happening here, sore boobs & a bit crampy but all progesterone related, will you (have you already) test ?
afm: well i had my ivf appointment on monday, the short story is the dr organised for me to start a long cycle this weekend but on the way home i noticed they begin the long cycle with nasal spray day 22 and because we tried this cycle we wouldn't know if i was pregnant by then, so we have changed plans and i will have a pregnancy blood test next monday and then if negative will stop the progesterone and start a short cycle with injections from day 2 of my period. i hope it will work out ok, i didn't know whether to just stop the progesterone now and end this cycle to do the long one but we have committed to this cycle and i will wait and see
Ah Minnie, nothing's ever simple is it? It's exciting that things are happening though!
Sunbeam - love those inspirational stories Good luck with "no fun February" and getting healthy!
No I haven't tested yet. I'm not even that enthused to POAS tomorrow but will do anyway - I'm a slave to routine!
Mich, good luck for tomorrow, come on the BFPs we know you are hiding somewhere.
"No fun Feb." I like it It's been so easy so far I thought I'd really struggle with out chocolate but I have not missed it. Maybe its true when you are not having sugar you do not crave it! Feeling good too. Buying a juicer tomorrow.
