tasha - sounds like you have it all sorted! 8 weeks will fly by and if your calculations are correct - you wont be in this thread for much longer! i hope that it happens exactly the way you have planned.

sunbeam - i had my first miscarriage tested as it required a d&c, although not for chromosomal abnormalities, FS just said tests came back normal. they didnt offer chromosome/genetic testing at previous clinic which is one of the reasons i switched. the second was natural miscarriage, so not tested. yes, i think i have decided to do a FET this cycle. its happening a bit fast, hadnt got myself ready for one this cycle, but why wait i guess. i wish they had grown them to blasty's after epu, rather than freeze them at day 2 first. oh well, cant do much about it now! well done on the exercise front, i havent done any at all this week.

saffy - thanks saffy, i think i will go for it, just anxious! you have good results for growing blasties, my FS has told me its about a 50% drop off rate - so you have done well in the past with your blasty rate. hope you arent going too crazy waiting for your BT.

minnie - hope your BT today shows that things are going as they should be. goodluck.

joeve - goodluck in the 2ww, hoping we can all join you & saffy there soon.

mich - i have loved being drug free for past couple of months too, you're right - you do forget how it feels not to be bloated & feeling crappy. i will just be on clexane & progesterone for this FET, so hoping not too bad. although that progesterone make me rage.

afm - start seretec's this weekend to look for ovulation, scan on tuesday to see whats happening in there. probably looking at transfer sometime next weekend if im lucky enough to get a blasty out of my day 2 embies... i really hope so!

OMG - I got RAK'ed!!!!! Thanks for letting me know Minnie. I've posted a huge thankyou to whoever the wonderful lady is in the thank you thread!

Minnie- your life is crazy right now! Lots of love to you and the kids Good luck with your blood test today - you need some great news

Joeve - I put you at 2 dpo in the list, so that way you can POAS earlier - ha ha ha ha Let me know if you would prefer 1 dpo. Sometimes I think ttc would be easier if we could just take our DHs/ DPs out of the equation. The time I got upset at DP for not wanting to dtd, I got locked out of the bedroom all night!!! So Joeve, I think you're doing comparitively well with DH, ha ha

Saffy - I don't blame you for POAS to see those magical 2 lines, I'd do the same.
Joeve and Saffy - definitely blame the drugs for the wind and give those DH's a taste of their own medicine, blame free!!

Andie - exciting, it's all happening for you now. I think you've made a good decision to do the FET this month. It seemed like your brain had already entered ttc mode again and you were already starting to feel anxious, so you might as well just go for it! Ooh, I really hope you get a blasty. My clinic tries to transfer blasties too but the thought of waiting 5 days to find out if there's something to put back is TERRIFYING!

Tasha - Sounds like the Easter Bunny will be bringing you a BFP this year then! I'd take that over chocolate any day - and I looooove chocolate, ha ha. Your clinic is really into making you wait and wait and wait for things aren't they? About the catheter - I was knocked out when I had the dye test but the IUI catheters haven't been a big deal. The first one took a couple of attempts but was only mildly uncomfortable and the second two were nothing Oh and one of the nurses told me that when you are ovulating, the cervix changes in some way that makes it easier to get the catheter through...

Hi Sunbeam - keep up that walking and swimming!

    Hey lovelies,

Joeve - Yes okay maybe 5 is a bit too many to expect with how lazy our ovaries are! If you do get 5 can you share them around ? Like I said before I did 150mg and still managed to not O, I think it only works well on some people. I hope your laid back attitude this cycle does the trick but if not and if this is your last clomid cycle what's next? I hope the TWW flies by.

Mich - I must be abnormal (okay so nothing we didn't all know ) but I never feel much affects from the drugs at all. I felt like c@#p through IVF but only because I got totally over stimulated, but then I never have had much effect hormonally to my cycle ever, just lucky I guess. Good job I'll be here all balanced to keep you all sane . Yes it is totally easier without a DH or DP I am in awe of how you girls hold your relationships together through TCC.

Saffy - I hope being back at work is not too rough. I would have tested too . I have my last positive test still int he bathroom draw just so I can pull it out and look at it sometimes. I get bloated heaps too but it is all fluid retention for me, got no one to annoy with wind anyway so it'd just be a waste !

Minnie - I hope next week is easier for you without any additional stresses or accidents Grow follies grow!

Tasha - 8 weeks!!! Holy c@#p you have the patience of a saint!! They say good things come to those that wait so you must be in line for something really good .

Andie - I will be sending out special vibes to your little embies I so hope they do well. Looks like we will all be heading to the TWW together again, bring it on!

AFM - The exercise is going good I'm feeling very committed. I got up at 7.30 this morning for my swim (cos yesterday's one at 9.30 did not give me much shade and I got sun burnt). Got back, had a shower, had breakfast lied down to rest for 5 mins . . . hmm 2 hours later woke up again !! Oppps! I really need a job! Oh well at least I did my exercise. Yoga tonight.

Mich lovely list chick can you pop me back 1 day to 1 DPO? Thank you x and yay for getting Rak'd! Go you!
Saffy I am going to try and be good and not encourage you to POAS...even when I really want you to I won't say it out loud!
Sunbeam well if I have 5 between my lazy ass ovaries and DH's dodgey swimmers I will probably die of shock.... LOL
Andie I will send some thawing vibes too so hurry up and get to that stage!!
Tasha 8 weeks flies by in no time x
Nothing much to add here, I never got a positive opk but then again I didn't do them every day but tried last night and tonight just so I could pee on something and barely a hint of a second line... oh well. I really hope something popped in there I will be scratching my head if I don't ov this month either as that has never been my real issue in the past. But does mean that all this time we assumed I was and maybe I wasn't all the time....or else clomid has messed things up. Anyway if this month doesn't work we are plunging into IVF land so thats the plan.
Gee I wish it would stop raining its lightening and thundering again outside....

tasha- join the club, its ridiculous!! I have lost weight but can barely fit into my work uniform and I am sure people at work are looking at my stomach and thinking I am pregnant, I feel like wearing a sign that says "no, I'm not, its just the pregnyl". On top of that my stomach is covered in bruises, its gross. I agree with you its really painful too.
    Hope yours settles soon xx

I think I may be ovulating. I havent used OPK's for nearly 2 weeks and I don't have many symptoms, but my nipples are a bit sore today and maybe that would explain the bloating the last few days? Only problem is I am on a 14 day thrush treatment with the icky cream in preperation for the IUI.

What should I do? DTD with the cream is going to be gross. And if we do DTD I'm afraid it will a) Screw up the thrush treatment and I will have to start over b) Wont work anyway on a 90 day cycle and end in m/c.

I'm leaning towards not DTD and just waiting for the IUI all fresh and thrush free, what do you reckon ladies?
