Minnie - that's fabulous news! 2 out of 3 is great! Yippppeeeee!
Hopefully my body has forgetton how lazy it used to be and fixes that pesky luteal phase issue - unlikely - ha ha!

Sunbeam - hilarious about the sperm thoughts Do you know any other lesbian ladies also ttc that you can chat with?
I'm so sorry about donor daddy. We all know how hard it is to get males to co-operate with fertility treatment and these are our partners who have a vested interest in the outcome. Although he sounds like a great guy, it must be particularly difficult for him... and you What's the feasibility of getting him to put a few "loads" of sperm on ice at the clinic? Will they store more than one? I know it's expensive and you'd only be able to use it for IUI, but then he could go in when it's convenient - he could even give you enough for the rest of the year over a month or two. I don't know if this is do-able but just an idea???

mich - we have been told it will be highly unlikely to have 2 blasties grow from thawing out 3 day 2's, but if we do we will just transfer one and freeze one. im not ready to go for multiples yet...

minnie - 2 on their way to blasts, thats great news. im hoping to follow in your footsteps and meet you for some 2ww madness later this week. goodluck again for tomorrow, im sure you wont need it.

sunbeam - hopefully after a little break, your dd will come back refreshed. sounds like he is taking it seriously and trying to be as honest as he can, not just spring it on you. how long has he been your dd? btw - thankyou, with your pos. vibes and my 2 jogs this weekend i am sure my embryos wont be able to resist a perfect thaw.

    Morning Ladies!

sorry for lack of persies lately but will try and make up for it today

minnie- great news about the 2 good embies, are you excited about tomorrow?? Good luck, the transfer is easy, the only hard part is getting the full bladder not too full, not too empty, I still can't get it right!
andi- did you hear about your embies yet?? Hopfully there is a little corker there.
sunbeam- you poor thing, donor daddies are very fickle aren't they. I'm sure he is just having a low period like we all do and will be back on board in a while. Its obviously the donor daddy form of "I'm too tired to dtd tonight" which the rest of us cop all the time - arrgghh men Hopefully you won't need him and his sperm for much longer xxxxx
mich- good luck for the tww, a la natural! hope you are next in line for a bfp x
joeve- so any sign of AF?
tasha-i know how you feel about the police check saga, inthe last 2 yrs we have done all the checks for ivf, then changed clinic and had more rigmarole, applied for a mortgage and applied for DH's permanent residency, so I have done more paperwork/forms/certifications/ police checks than I've ever done in my life and it is sooo frustrating, we ae still waiting for Dh's visa and i started the process last July!! I hope it all gets sorted for you soon x

afm- just about to ring the clinic, af has settled down thank god. Hopefully get good news about my cycle, with my new healthy lifestyle and weight loss ( only 3.5kg but it has put me in normal bmi range so that has to be good) the only way is up!

update- just spoke to FS, he is so nice. He is happy for me to start a new cycle, I have to be on the pill for a few weeks anyway. I am going to try a down reg cycle instead of antagonist ( I know that doesn't mean anything to non ivf girls sorry) and he even suggested transferring 2 embies if we get them ( which he is usually very opposed to) so I am a happy girl. I am still going to make an appt with him to discuss using donor eggs if this cycle doesn't work as i can't keep going with miscarriages, and at my age the m/c rate is 50% anyway, let alone with my history. Feeling positive!
Mich- thanks I am proud of myself!

    morning ladies.

minnie - must have read your transfer date wrong, sorry! goodluck for tomorrow, instead of today...

saffy - well done with your bmi, you must feel great. sounds like you and your FS are on the same page, mixing things up a bit & and trying something new. i hope that tweaking your cycle plan does the trick.

afm - havent heard any news on embies yet, i guess no news is good news? i am going to try and resist calling them today, it is going to take some serious will-power though.

    Hello ladies

Joeve, FX for you! Only a few days to go....
Andie, good luck with the embies. It's so hard not to call when it's all you can think about!
Minnie, That's awesome news! Bring on Tuesday
Saffy, well done on the weight loss, every kg counts. Glad to hear Af settled down and your fs is supportive. Hope you get some good news.
Hi sunbeam and mich, hope you are doing well.

AFM: Well public enquiry obviously don't think answering their phones is a priority because I have called 3 times now and no answer!! I am still right to go for my nurses appointment tomorrow, but we can't start anything until the police check is back If I am incredibly lucky it will come before this weekend, because that's when AF is due. Otherwise I have to wait until CD21 and take the primolut and then wait for another AF to start. So will probably be looking at mid April to start Why can't people get their ***** together!? Sorry for the rant.

Toomanyshoes, I forgot you joined us in here! It is ridiculous, laws have recently changed in VIC hence all the crud we have to do.

doesnt sound lame at all, tasha. it would be great if sometimes we got to choose the sequence of events in our tcc lives, instead of waiting on paperwork, cycles, tests etc. etc. i really hope you get a surprise by the end of the week and it comes in the mail.

i managed to hold off hassling the lab for an update today, so now i will just be patient until they call me tomorrow... im not usually patient so im quite proud of myself!

    sneaking in ...

Just wanted to say to Tasha that if you or your partner have any "disclosable outcomes", or have the same name as someone with disclosable outcomes, it takes much longer. The check needs to be sent to the police force of every State and Territory for processing.

The same happened to my DP. He has no criminal record but apparently he has the same name as someone who does

Our clinic ended up letting us start without it. It just had to arrive before egg retrieval which it did.

    Good luck sweetie!!!

    Hi Girls,

Minnie - Best of luck tomorrow babe I'll be thinking of you

Tasha - Government departments are all the same f@#king useless! I really hope they get their act together and get it sorted on time for this cycle

Saffy - That is awesome that FS is happy to go along with your plan . I really hope it works for you but it is also great that you have the donor egg option if you need it. Well done with the reaching target BMI, I'm 10kg off mine but I guess every bit helps.

Joeve - I hope AF kicks in soon. You sure there's no change of a sneaky BFP you are only 11dpo?

Andie - Well done for being patient and not calling. I hope it is awesome news tomorrow.

    TMS - Any signs?

AFM - I was still quite upset and teary this morning but then I had a big chat with a friend and talked through my options. I just spoke to my mum and was hoping she might offer the money for IVF again but my 5 page letter of a few weeks ago has worn off and she is back onto me needing a surrogate ! My back and bbs are both really sore I'm guessing from the trigger though I never remember it having quite such affect in the past but it has been a while.

Thanks N2L, DH has (unfortunately) got a criminal record But he hasn't had any charges or anything for that matter in 6 years. His last offence was 2006. Also DH brother shares the same last name and I'm pretty sure he still has outstanding warrants so I guess that doesn't help either. They had a pretty crappy up bringing (abusive father etc). I am not holding high hopes for it to be here by Friday.
    Thanks for the info xx
