oh my god, we've had a thread explosion since my last visit - I have to catch up!

Ferrals, think the appointment is a good idea psychologically (and we all know what a mind game this whole IVF/TTC thing is) so that's good to have sorted. It's like the white pants/no tampon thing but in reverse - as sure as you make the other plans, you won't need them! Let's hope so anyway. Grow little embie, grow! Sticky vibes en masse to you x

Hello Crafty, come on, we have to stick together in this no giving up palava - you don't know if this month is a write off yet, let's just wait and see some more OK. How exciting about getting the keys to your new home!! How's the packing going?

MatthewsMum, Been thinking about your post where you said your doc thinks you are peri-menapausal (sp?) and just wondering why...you're only 40 after all. Have you tried using Clexane after the transfer? We used it last cycle and it helps with transplantation so maybe worth asking about?? Will you do any medicated transfers or are you sticking to the natural ones? I remember doing a few of each - I think the odds are pretty evenly split on the outcome of either so I guess no meds is good if you can help it. And thanks for asking after my friend, she seems to be making a good recovery - she is still in a lot of pain but resting up. Things will improve for her now I'm sure, she's put up with a lot for a long time so time to get back to her old self again.

HappyBaby, good luck with your TWW. Let's hope you and Ferrals kick start our BFP breakout. Fingers crossed!

Kaybee, that's certainly an odd thing to say to you, I mean seriously, what could you possibly do if that were the case? Weird. Hope you are doing OK, is the worst of the bleeding over now? I hope you get your sticky bub soon x

Sunbeam, how's the movie marathon going? Any recommendations? How's the ms? Did you find some ginger lollies? I lived off ginger for the whole 8 weeks I was pg - ginger tea, fresh ginger, ginger lollies and found peppermint good to. Thinking of you

Porsche, hope AF has shown her witchy face now. Onwards with the FSH - can I ask what dose you are going to be on?

Mildez, of course no one is going to die! But I do remember having different versions of that convo with my DH. And to think some dumb arsed idiot out there tonight is going to get drunk and end up UTD. What a weird parallel world we live in here!!

T-hopes, hope you had/are having fun on the Gold Coast and enjoying being on holidays. Yeah, the things we celebrate here - honestly if my chart is behaving, I feel so proud of myself and if it dips, I get terribly disappointed! Sad isn't it?!!

Well, saw the FS this afternoon and he thinks yes, definitely try again and that my pg in Dec was a promising turn of events after so many years trying so give it another shot. Pathology came back normal, no genetic abnormalities so on one hand that's good but on the other, why did we have a mc then? He said at my age 40% of all pg will mc for various reasons but hey, if we were scared of odds like that we'd never try so not worrying. We discussed doing short and long cycles and have decided on a long one (which is what I've always done in the past) so...we will begin in the middle of August!!! Yah!! AF arrived today (2 days earlier than usual which freaked me out - I've never had a 26 day cycle before and not sure what that is about given the huge improvements in every other respect this month on my chart) so when she comes to visit again in four weeks I'll start the OCP then off we go. I'm excited and glad things are finally moving. Also proud of myself for giving the diet a go and sticking to it and for DH quitting smoking and just feel that if it doesn't work we can look each other in the eyes and know we've done every possible thing to try to make it work. But hoping that it does again!

Ferrals! STOP IT - you are only going to make yourself miserable, no more internet for you! There's a lot of information on the net, and not all of it is useful and it's certainly not useful to you right now. Plenty of lovely healthy bubs have been born from day three embies - my darling niece is one of them and her mum is ten years older than you so please stop worrying. The TWW is bad enough without torturing yourself over things you can't control. Maybe you should do what Sunbeam is doing and go for a movie marathon instead - distract yourself. Promise - no more research! Make yourself a cake or something indulgent OK? Come on, you can do this - you need to be positive for your bean, it needs you to be resting and calm/happy as much as possible. xxxooo

    Thanks Alice & Iona

you're not alone Ferrals - we all go insane with it, it's completely normal and much easier to tell someone else to stop than to do it ourselves! I'll be exactly the same in two months time and you'll be visiting from the bb forums to tell me exactly the same thing xo

OMG I have been trying to get on here for 3 days! Life is so busy!

Ferrals - Whoo So glad you got a fantastic embie that is just awesome news. What's with all the crap about the odds, hello I'm pg with less than a million sperm what do you think the odds were for that? I'm sure it would have been well less than 20-30%!! Step away from the computer, or the bunny gets it!! Your bt is the same day as my next scan lets hope its great news for both of us.

    Happy Birthday Porsche

Kaybee - I had a couple of sessions with the counsellor at my clinic and she was great. Glad you feel you are going okay.

Alice - So glad to hear that your FS appt. went really well. Sounds very promising that your cycle and chart are right on track too. With DH still not smoking you two really will be giving it the best shot possible, good on you both.

T Hopes - Hope you are enjoying yourself here on the Goldie, we've laid on some pretty nice days for you

To all those in the TWW

AFM- My back is slowly getting better. Went to see the physio at the fertility clinic yesterday. She made me lie on my front, she could tell from my face I was in pain. She said where does it hurt and I said my BOOBS! My back felt fine but lying on my mumma jugs killed!
Work is flat out because I am relocating offices on the weekend which is a huge and stressful task.
No more ms since sunday though I came close to throwing up in Wollies on monday night. I still find the ms very comforting when its there.
The weird dreams have started. Last night I was flying around the countryside with a coffee cup in my hand and was then having sex and it was so real I woke myself up convinced that someone was touching me! I also have pg brain and stopped at a green light this morning! I'm a lost cause!

Hey Porsche - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Yay - Has AF come to wish you happy birthday yet?

Ferrals - ahhh, you make me feel better for all the over-thinking that I do. The reason that 3 day transfers have a lower success rate is just that they know less about each emby so some of the dodgier ones die - but not your perfect 'textbook' emby. It's a big healthy ball of cells by now looking for a nice spot to cuddle up for the next 8 1/2months.

AFM - saw FS today and he said I just have to keep having BTs until hcg is below 5. Last time it took 2 months!!!!!!!! Rrrraaaa

    Hi Ladies

Kaybee - No Af hasn't gifted me with her presence as yet and I'm starting to get a little worried. I hope your levels go down quickly for you.

I'm starting to fret a little now. How long after stopping BCP should I get AF? It's day 4 after stopping and there is still NO sign that she is coming. Do I wait until Monday and see what happens?
This is crazy I'm now on CD55 and I just want to get started already. I haven't got many more shots of synarel left either. Not even 20 shots left.

Thanks Iona. I think I'll sit it out until Monday and see what happens. Then I'll be on the phone asking some questions. Just so tired of waiting around to get started.
