Mildez- I think I am going Af soon too, was hopeful as anything but the last 2 hrs have convinced me the witch is coming, hope you are feeling ok xx

Porsche- good luck with the sniffing , is it easy to do? i am dreading that bit as I always have a runny nose cos of my furbabies, and I'm scared I will sneeze the stuff straight back out!

T-Hopes-sorry you are back to day 1 again, I know i was getting your hopes up but I really thought it sounded promising, also the spotting for 3 days is so annoying isn;t it, my last 2 AF's have been good but usually I spot for ages.

Alice- sounds like you are busy at the moment, how was your weekend?

Crafty- you have as much right as anyone else to be here, so go for it!!!

Sunbeam- hows you symptoms? Hope you are getting sleep!!

AFm- sore boobs but no other symptoms, had bad PMT yesterday resulting in fight w DH ( monthly occurance), Af due Friday i think, so will have to sort out finances asap for ivf as I don;t think there is any chance of her not coming:noaf:please please please

Thank you all for saying I can stay even UTD. Given that most of us want to stay here at least till our 2nd trimester maybe we should call it LT TTC/PAML hehehe we can have the longest title on BB!

Ferrals - Hoping so much for an awesome result for you today :crossfingers:

Saffy - I really hope that AF stays well away and that there's a BFP just waiting for you.

Porsche - I hope AF is good and timely and you can jump aboard the IVF train soon.

Crafty - So good to hear from you. You know DH is right, you'd done the impossible before you can do it again. So sweet of him to be so determined, what a love.

AMF - If we are going to make this a joint TTC and PG thread I need to know what people are comfortable with me sharing I really don't want to upset anyone. Had another bt this morning and if the results are good I will get all my numbers from my other bts too. MS has kept up most of the weekend and I'm not complaining one bit (though I have hurt my back from throwing up this morning which I could have done without). I am taking it very easy partly because I feel less sick if I don't move around much plus its a good excuse to watch New Moon over and over. Has anyone else seen 'Eclipse' yet? It was awesome, can't wait to go again.

I have a question. My mum has got me freaked out about my scan on friday, she thinks the dildo cam is a bad idea and that it will make me mc. Does anyone else have any fears/thoughts/evidence that this is true or not? Going to google now and see what I can find out.

Sunbeam I have heard people say Dildocam made them m/c but honestly I think it would be extremely rare and most likely a co-incidence in situations were people have m/c shortly after having dildocam. You hear so much about vaginal examinations and dildocams causing infection etc but honestly what can be dirtier then a penis? They are hardly sterile where as dildo cam and vaginal examinations (late pregnancy I am talking about) are using protection. If dildocam could cause m/c then having sex would be even worse in my book. But thats just me perhaps that thinks like that lol. In saying this if your not comfortable with using the transvaginal probe maybe ask them for the abdominal one first. Usually they are done together but if they can pick up bub and a nice HB then its probably not neccessary to then look insdie also IYKWIM. I had an abdominal scan at 7weeks before and they saw bub without dildocam. How far along are you now?

Well i am back the right ovary with that f#cking lead follicle has not responded the lead follicle is sucking up all the hormones i have 13 follicles 1@20mm 1@19mm and 11 at 10-12mm the left ovary is responding but slowly no explanation why i have heaps of follicles but only 6 between 15mm and 19mm so they are going to push me two more days i will have a u/s wednesday and if they have grown a little more i will have EPU on fri which will be day 17:o i asked if stimming so long would be bad for the eggs and she said friday would be the absolute last day for EPU and seeing as thou the biggest follie is only 20mm( the f#cking lead one) i should be fine but the doctor did say my E2 is getting up there and was 6000 on saturday so they expect it will be around the 9000ish mark today and i will proberbly go to EPU with a number around the 15000 mark so she said start drinking the water now my E2 is climbing because i have so many follicles they just are not big enough to contain a mature egg so here we go again more waiting.

Ferrals I am sorry to hear that leading Follie is taking all the hormones and possibly playing a part in the others not catching up. Hope Wednesdays scan is great and you can then have EPU. Gee what a roller coaster ride for you and your DH.

Sunbeam-when i was going through the fetal medicine unit when pregnant with abbi i asked the professor why i had not m/c when i had whooping cough i also had surgery and a knee infection a bad case of gastro all while pregnant and she hung on and he said to me if the baby and mother are healthy then almost nothing will cause a m/c (except accidents and serious illness) i had a cvs through the uterus into the placenta at 11 weeks and a amnio through the uterus into the sac at 18 weeks and nothing happened a simple dildo u/s will not cause a m/s if everything is normal and healthy when women lose babies there is a reason and me having experienced a m/c and termination would rather nature decide if my baby will stick or not so please try and relax and having an u/s will give you the answers you need and also let the doctors know everything that is going on in there.

Mildez-it is f#cked isn't it but i do have 6 follies hanging in there so if wed shows all 6 at a good size we will go ahead even though its not great numbers what have we got to lose we have paid our money i am having 9 orgalutran injections at $62 so i want to have a chance at least one embryo can be TF.

Its quality not quantity hey? Part of me can't wait to get to that stage then another part freaks out lol not long now

god what a rollercoaster ferals, tell the 6 follies to get their sh*t together and behave for wednesday!! x
sunbeam- I have never seen anyone M/C because of dildo cam ( I used to work for an obs/gynae), its probably just that people who are more at risk for m/c or are having bleeding are the ones more likely to have the dildo cam whereas the lucky ones w no problems just get an abdo scan at 9 or 10 wks. I wouldn't worry about having one but as mildez said if you are > 7 wks just try an abdo one first x

Thanks girls I think its a good idea to just have the abdo one if I can. I searched and searched and could find no info on mc risk from dildo cam but that it can cause spotting. Although this is normal I know it would put me into complete panic so best avoided I recon. Mildez I'll be 6w 6days on scan day.

Ferrals - that annoying lead follie needs to jolly well pop and get the f@#k out the way, damn thing! I really hope the extra few days give the others time to catch up.

Well this is fun! I lied in bed to rest my back and now I can hardly roll over!

Bt results came back and I got all my other results all really good :leap:

I also spoke to the nurse about the US and she said the same as Ferrals that if a pg is good nothing other than a major infection or an accident will cause a mc.

sunbeam-pleased your results came back good,sorry to hear your having back problems,hope you've got someone there to help you
