Saffy - Posh Spice grrrrrrrrr!. I can't stand hearing about pregnant celebrities now! I used to read the entertainment news on the net but I avoid it now as it just makes me depressed to see photos of them with their lovely big tummies.
This week I would have had the last baby that I lost. The due date was Jan 21st but as I required a CS the OB said he would deliver at 39 weeks. It really seems to be hitting me hard at the moment. I just feel so flat and detached and the slightest inconvenience makes me grumpy and abrupt. NO idea what is going on with my cycle. I think we are still around day 19 but I am having terrible back cramps as though AF is imminent. And I HATE TTC sex. Last night we were supposed to do the deed but DH (who was hot and tired) was so irritable I said don't bother we'll wait until tomorrow. I wish I could get excited about the trip to Bali in March but nothing seems to interest me at the moment.

I looked up "Victoria Beckham pregnant" out of curiosity and I found some article that tells you how to conceive a girl. They tell you to wait 3 or more days AFTER ovulation. Interesting, because as far as I know the egg only lives 24 hours, so if you wait 3 or more days you conceive nothing. Have I been doing it wrong all the time??? Sloppy journalism.
India's Mum - trip to Bali you say? I am jelaus. C'mon, you have to get at least a bit excited, it sounds like such a lovely vacation. Maybe you need a tiny break from TTC, you and your DH. I know it is almost impossible not to TTC when you want a baby so much, but sounds like you really had enough.

And another thing about celebrities - can I please, please go to the supermarket without them having women's magazines at eyeline showing celebs just glowing after 2 hours of makeup and a good dose of photoshopping, proudly displaying their tiny babies on the cover.

Hi india'smum- yes that is annoying! Don't worry I'm sure their lives aren't perfect at all, its all so fake! Hope you are going ok hun, hugs for your due date and I'm sure once you get to Bali you will feel relaxed and enjoy it. xx

afm- got Af over the weekend, so waiting for the FS nurse to call me and arrange my FET, I predict it will be around the 2nd Feb- not too far away at all!

hi everyone, india'smum-hugs...luna-they say you can't believe everything in the media...minniemouse-thanks but af has come,no surprise really.Where are you up to?..saffy-sorry af came but all the best with fet...afm-i've started the process to do a fet this cycle ,going to try a natural one this time ,so hope my levels behave themselves,1st blood test to track 'o' is on the 27th.Got to try to get more positivity about it from somewhere,i think i'm just scared of it not working again...

afm: im on day 5 of clomid today, feeling very ho hum about it all really, this being my 4th month on it, anyway i made an appointment with my specialist for early feb to discuss where we go from here, i also made an appointment with another specialist connected with a big ivf clinic for another opinion, im 37 now so don't want to wait much longer if i am going to think about ivf

So sorry I have not been on for a while but having a great time showing my mum around Perth and the south west she loves it here and knows now why I moved here !
On the TTC front I am day 27 so 3 or so more days till AF arrives or a BFP but not been thinking about it as I have been so busy and for once it has not ruled my life and how nice it has been to not know what day of my cycle I was on so FX we got a good egg this month but realistically I very much doubt it !!!
Anyhow FX for some BFPs soon and all of you keep going and think positive !!!
Be back soon she goes back on the 6th of feb so please forgive me for not being on here too much !

im wishing time away, this is what i hate so much about ttc, the waiting for ovulation, 2ww, waiting for drs appointments etc.
i got my order of cheapie ovulation and pregnancy tests today, also got some vitex, from the reading i have done you start it the day after ovualtion to give your progesterone a boost, can't do any harm (i hope) so i'll give it a go this cycle

minniemouse - I know what you mean about waiting, I am making myself little calendars where I scratch days off each day. Makes me feel like I am making some progress, crazy, I know.
AFM - had my hsg today, everything looks good, so I will be actively TTC this month.

minniemouse- it does seem like all we do is wait, and meanwhile we are getting older, how annoying! hope the vitex does the trick! Good idea to start getting appts etc, I first went to an FS December before last, still not pregnant, so much mucking around and in retrospect I wish I hadn't spent 3 months trying clomid and just gone ahead w ivf straight away but oh well
luna- yay, glad all i well, GL for this month
matthewsmum- fingers crossed for both of us for this fet
hi crafty- nice to see you glad you are having fun with your mum, make hte most of it before she goes home

afm- off to the shops to buy OPKs , will start on sunday or monday, expecting to O next wed or thurs. Af was weird this month, really heavy one day then nothing much else for the rest of the time, shes gone now at least.

Hi Ladies
Sorry I have been MIA - been looking after DH after his work accident. He fractured C1 in his neck and T4, 5, 6 in his upper back - by being crushed by cattle. The poor bugger will be in a brace and house bound for another 2.5 months. He is home from the hospital and recovering well :-) It's been pretty tiring though. In between all of this I got yet another BFN, coming up to 5 yrs of TTC now :( Still waiting on AF too so my body is still misbehaving after our last IVF.

Loops sorry about your DH shame hope your giving him lots of TLC and being very patient with him and then he will be very patient with you later on when you get your BFP !
saffy and matthews mum FX for a good successfull transf later on this month we need some BFPs in here ( hope I get one too )
afm well AF due today and had light spotting last night so I guess she is nearing my building oh well no suprise there then !
Taking horney goat weed as suposed to increase desire and boy do I need that as well as regulate cycles and even out any hormone inbalance so FX is works for me been taking 1 tab a day last month and nothing so have increased to 2 tabs a day now ( but at my age may take a bucket full to get me in the mood ) LOL

Loops - Really sorry to hear about DH but thank God he will be alright.
Saffy - My AF has been different since the last D&C 6 months ago. A flood the first day then hardly anything and then gone by end of day 3.
Crafty - Know what you mean about having to get in the mood. I used to be all for it any day of the week and now I dread it and sadly so does DH which isn't really good for us.
AFM - I think the looming 45th birthday is really beginning to hit me. It feels like its all over, thanks for playing. I really don't see us ever able to have another child. I don't think I will even get pregnant again. I'm kicking myself for not getting more expert help after the first miscarriage because I was still only 43 then. DH is not keen but I want to talk to the FS about the possibility of having IVF where they test for chromosomal abnormality. The OB told me it was immensely expensive last year so I didn't enquire further but does anyone know just how expensive that it?
