HI everyone,
mathewsmum- thats good, stim cycles aren't that bad ( am I delusional?), and you've get a great chance still, you must have got lots of frosties last time! Glad you are straight into it! I am having another BT next week then see FS the tuesday after. It will depend what he says as to whether I get a 2nd opinion or not. xx
minniemouse- that is ridiculous, so hard to work out if opks aren't reliable, hugs xx
Luna- hope you aren't too petrified and can spend some time celebrating xx
Sunbeam- I would love to not think about ttc for a while!! See you soon xx
afm- seeing fs in 1 1/2 wks, also got the guts to ring another clinic and have an appt booked in w that dr for about 3 wks time. If my FS won't do any further tesing I will go and talk to the other guy. Otherwise I am a bit lost, a few preg announcements IRL and feeling flat. Wondering if my eggs are jus cr@p, always had a thought in the back of my mind that if this was the case I would use my siser's eggs ( she's offered to donate) but just did some investigating and realised one of hte criteria is the donor has to have finished their family (my sister is gay and single, no kids) so maybe it wouldn't even be allowed- feeling a bit scared that my last resort is gone- I know i am jumping the gun big time!!
babydust everyone x

Hi everyone
Firstly big congrats LUNA ! well done girl fx for a long and healthy preg.
Saffy so sorry it was a BFN for you but keep going girl you will get there and as for your eggs well I am sure they are ok ( not like mine 46yrs old nearly )
Matthews mum so glad your still giving it all you have you really deserve a BFP sooner rather than later you are about the only girl I know whos been on here as long as me ( not that some haven't been on here that long just that I remember you being here when I first joined thats all )
Sunbeam nice to see your name again !
minniemouse when you don't ovulate on time its so anoying but keep trying you never know you might just catch that sneaky egg when you didn't realize it !
afm well getting ready to do some serious Bdancing and pray I am still in with a chance as my birthday looms nearer oh well can't stop the clock but I can give it all I can to try !
-
Hi Ladies, thank you so much for your congratulations and encouragement, but I am too petrified... Part of me does not want to even accept that I am pregnant, not until we see this bub in its right place. I think I have to wait about a week for that. Then on the other hand, I just want to be happy and celebrate every minute. It may be the hormones, but pregnancy makes me really, really happy. If I discovered this any earlier, I think I would have about 12 kids now, LOL. I am going to wait a bit with the ticker and going to pregnant thread thought. Last time I was posting "goodbye" message almost the same day as "let me introduce myself".
minniemouse - are you checking for O any other way than the sticks? They are not accurate for everybody.
Saffy - they can do the genetic testing on the eggs, have you thought about it? At least you would know if they are c***p or not. It is very strange about the donor criteria. Here, in the states, college girls do the egg donation. They have this restriction for surrogates, but not for egg donors. For egg donors, they just have to be under 35 I think. But your laws may be different, so probably that is why. Or maybe it is a precaution in case something goes wrong with the donor during the donation? But anyway, how are they going to say whether somebody finished their family or not? I mean, if your sister says "I do not want to have kids, ever", they are just not going to accept it? And even if somebody has 6 kids and is done, how can they be sure they do not change their mind in 2 years? A bit odd restriction IMHO.
matthew's mum, Sunbeam, craftymummy - I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.
-
saffy:  it really isnt fair. what does your clinic say about egg quality ? it must be ok if you get good embies ? interesting about your sister offering her eggs, is she planning on kids one day herself ?
Luna:  for you too, i can understand the fear, sending positive thoughts & sticky vibes and looking forward to hearing about your scan. will you have blood tests in the meantime ?
for the last 4 cycles the opt's have been accurate for ovulation so who knows what is happening this cycle
crafty: good luck for you, fingers crossed. we would be covered if i have ovulated but i have been using the progesterone so there isn't any hope of success
matthewsmum: good to hear you are moving forward with a plan
afm: day 29 still no clear sign of ovulation, the last few cycles have been very predictable, positive opt around day 22 & ovulate the next day and i have had no positive and no ovulation pain. to add insult to injury i now have the flu and am ssoo sick, im almost hoping i don't get a positive now cause i just can't dtd
-
Saffy: very sad for you that this cycle was a chem pregnancy. I hope you and Sunbeam will have lovely snowbabies at the same time!
Minnie mouse: Get well, get well! Sending you healthy vibes. Sorry to hear you are sick : ( Sooo frustrating about waiting for ovulation. Doesn't the clomid trigger it?
Crafty: hope you are going well
Mathewsmum: Hope this next cycle is a winner for you too.
Luna: Good news! I hope this baby is snuggled in just the right spot for you!
-
I had the BT, the hcg levels were 897, so for 4w3d, I take this as a very good sign. I have a repeat on Thursday, but I am already getting a bit excited.
-
thas a great number Luna!! Hope you feel reassured from that (?? twins !!??), try and relax you have a strong little one there xx
minnie- can you call your dr and get a blood test to check to see if you have o yet? I think they can check progesterone levels to tell, annoying for you when you have the progesterone supps waiting xx
possummagic- hi mate, hope you are well have you had your 20wk scan yet?
crafty- good luck for a birthday bub xx
hi matthewsmum, sunbeam, thopes, loops, indiasmum, who else??
afm- blood test today, was in limbo for a while as I was still getting faint 2nd lines on hpt until yesterday but almost gone now, so hopefully its dropped to nothing so I can move on with my next cycle. Seeing FS next tuesday.
-
Luna: they are great numbers, congrats !:stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:
possum magic: i know i say it all the time but thanks for checking on us :-) im with saffy, have you had your scan ?
saffy:so sorry to hear your line is disappearing even though you knew it would, its still sad you get so close. i hope the numbers are good so you can get onto the next cycle
afm: im now thinking i will get af soon, i could go get a blood test but honestly im so sick its all i can do to get up and have a shower at the moment ! by the time im well enough i will probably know either way
-
Saffy you have been so close the last 2 trys I just know it will be 3rd time lucky for you try to be positive your so close !
possum wow 20wks already !
minnie get well soon and FX your BFP is just around the corner.
Matthewsmum getting ready to go again ?
Luna fantastic numbers great stuff !
sunbeam not long now and maybe you will be on here a bit more hey !
afm day 13 and lots of cm so FX this is my month after waiting and waiting 18mnths now since my mc come on body just one more time please give me a good egg and a BFP !!!!:pray::pray::pray:
-
crafty: get busy ! good luck
im getting backache now so think i'll see af by tomorrow, at least that will bring an end to this confusing frustrating cycle
-
I had my first scan today, and there is a sac in my uterus!!! That is all they can see right now, I am not even 5 weeks yet, but at least this bub has a shot.
I feel it is time for me to move to PAML thread. Of course I feel very scared and nervous and not confident at all, but I am not trying anymore... I will be stalking you all here, because I really really want to see you in the PAML thread soon too. You ladies are great, it is so good to be able to talk to somebody about the "baby stuff".
-
luna: thats fantastic news on your scan, go little bubba ! im sad to see you go but im so happy for you for the circumstances under which you are leaving ! :happyforyou::stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy: i hope you will pop back in and update us from time to time and hopefully we are all in the PAML thread with you soon
afm: day 33, still have no idea what is going on
-
Luna - I am thrilled for you!
-
:confetti: thats great news Luna, sounds like is a sticky one, hope we see you soon in paml thread! xx
minniemouse- come on af (or O, anything really, whichever you want) stop keeping us waiting!! Do you still have backache? xx
crafty- :crossfingers: for you this month, go eggy xx
hi everyone else, indiasmum- hopeyou are going well, matthewsmum- when do your injections start? xx
AFM- my blood test confirmed what I thought- still some hcg, my level was 10 so they want another test next week, seeing FS tues anyway. Although I think I had some EWCM today so might have to go and buy some more opks, I wouldn't have thought I would start o'ing if theres hcg in my system but maybe its low enough to not count.
-
hi girls,
saffy: how did you go with the specialist today ? did you go buy some opt's ?
matthewsmum: where are you up to in your cycle ?
crafty: how are you going ? you must be in the 2ww now ?
luna: are you still reading here ? hope all is well
afm: nothing new to report, day 37 today, still negative opt and negative hpt, have no idea what is going on, i had some blood tests done yesterday and will hopefully get the results tomorrow, if progesterone is low i will know i haven't ovulated yet but how long do i have to wait ??? i need to get af to get the dye test and ultrasound done before i see the specialist again, so annoying !
-
minnie- big , what a saga babe. Soooo frustrating for you, hope you get some answers xx
I saw FS today, it was ok, I am having a dilemma though. He thinks everything is fine and its just bad luck I haven't gotton preggers, his thinks my eggs are fine quality cos they fertilise and grow to blasty and cos I get reasonable numbers, which makes sense.
He wants me to do a HRT FET now and try my forsties and if they don't work he will look at further testing then.
I have made an appt for another FS in another clinic for a few wks time, I'm not sure whether to just go ahead with the FET ( would be easier and quicker ) or to get another opinion and maybe change clinics ( a hassle but maybe my FS is missing something that another FS would pick up on, and I am just wasting time and embryos by continuing)
I'm so confused! I am also sure i missed my O, I have had sporadic EWCM every few days, did a few OPK which were neg, but no CM now and thinking O slipped past when I wasn't expecting it. Oh well, we DTD twice last week, just for fun :loveshower: so maybe a miracle will happen. Looking forward to not obsessing over my tww if I am in it, will just have a month off and drink alcohol and enjoy myself.
Sunbeam, when are you back??
sticky vibes everyone xxx
-
Saffy: I think another opinion is always a good idea, can u go ahead with the fet while waiting for the new appointment ? Although if you are in the 2ww I guess you wouldn't be doing the fet until after the other appointment ?
Afm: well I'm annoyed & a tad scared, I found out this morning my prolactin levels are through the roof (& mine are usually high), that will be why I haven't ovulated but it's so high it may also mean I have another pituitary tumour *sigh*. I'm waiting at the gp now to work out what to do now, I'm hoping it will just be medication but I may need an MRI :-(
-
:hug: minniemouse, thats terrible, hope the gp appt goes ok xxx
-
Thanks saffy, I'm off to a ct scan now
-
minnie- how did the scan go?? Do you find out results straight away or do you have to wait? I hope its ok xx
-
saffy: the ct scan showed no tumour or bleeding, i wish it was an mri though, much better for pituitary problems, so while im relieved im cautious about the result. i have increased the medication i take to try and decrease the levels of prolactin, will probably have another blood test in about a month to see if the levels have dropped again. its so frustrating, its one thing after another and i was pretty stressed last night about everything, it all just seems so hard at times and i have a lot of (health) issues to contend with. thanks for asking
-
Hi ladies I am still luking in my TWW
Minniemouse how terrible you have so many things to worry about hope all goes well and you get some answers soon.
My birthday is looming and well I will be saying goodbye I think as I know my time is up ! will just wait out my TWW but not much hope really.
saffy hope you did catch that egg and get a suprise BFP !
Keep well everyone and follow your dreams !
-
crafty: i will keep my fingers crossed extra tight for you for this cycle. it must be very difficult to decide to stop trying  for you
-
hi girls,
just a quick update from me, i woke with stitch like pain this morning so did a opt test and it was positive, so dark, i was shocked and rather annoyed because we hadn't been bding because of the dramas last week it didn't look like it was going to happen, im day 45 for heavens sake, anyway we gave it a go this morning and will do it again tonight and then start the progesterone tomorrow
saffy: how are you ? did you decide about moving to another clinic ?
matthewsmum: you have been really quiet, what are you up to ?
crafty: how is the 2ww going ?
luna: hi to you, i know you are reading :-)
-
hi girls sorry i have been mia, went away for a few days r&r!
minnie- thats absolutely ridiculous!! Hope you catch the egg but for gods sake its not making it easy for you!
crAFTY- i'm sad to hear you sad this but I understand. I hope you can still enjoy your birthday, you are a lovely lady xxxx
sunbeam-will pm you soon xx
AFM- going to see new doctor next friday, when I have told people this everyone says he is really good and much better than my old one ( could they have told me this before lol) so I think I will definately change ( unless I am utd now haha) AF due next week I think.
-
Hi girls
Good luck with your new Dr saffy might just be the right move and soon a BFP its always good to get a 2nd opinion !
AF arrived yesterday so still regular as clockwork 28 to 29days but obviously egg and sperm quality is not upto scratch but anyway won't be telling DH no more Bdancing but keeping an open mind and telling myself it will now be a miracle to get UTD at 46 but hey miracles do happen just not to me !;)

Hello
Hi Ladies
I was hoping to join this thread. I often read this thread and think of joining. :wall: I really need some support, I feel like I am living month to month, taking medications, temps, testing while everyone falls pregnant around me, including my little sister accidently.
My husband and I have been trying for baby #1 for just over 2 and half years now. We started seeing a FS in Jan and after a lap that showed no endo I was started on clomid even though I ovulate. We were successful first round of clomid but lost the preg at 5w and we are now on our 3rd cycle with clomid.
-
Welcome Tilygirl!
please join us, sorry you have to but I hope we can give you some support. Its so hard, no one should have to go through it alone, we are really lucky in this day and age that we can share experience and support over the internet. Sounds like you have been through the wringer like a lot of us, its hard to keep your chin above water sometimes, but i hope the clomid does the trick for you and you get a bfp soon. That must have been hard having you sister fall pregnant like that xxxxx
-
Hello Lovely Ladies,
I'm back whoooooo!:leap:
I have missed being here but it has also been great to have a 4 month break from thinking about TTC so much.
I saw FS today and we have planned my FET for this upcoming cycle. I can't say exactly when that will be as I am currently cd49!!!! Yes 49, (minniemouse I can sympathise) never been past day 46 before so this is a record. Anyway, he scanned me and it showed I had O'ed but goodness knows when. He said if AF is not here in a week we will do bloods and kick start her but I don't think that will be necessary, she's been feeling just around the corner for days. Also told FS about my new donor waiting in the wings and we discussed how we will proceed with this if my frosties don't make it. I have not yet told donor daddy about all this, part of me feels bad for him but part of me feels if he'd done more to get his sperm up to scratch we might already have a bub by now.
I am really hoping that all the stuff I have done and am doing (weight loss 8kg :D, acupuncture, hypnosis, therapy, reiki, yoga) will do the trick. Also the eating chicken! Still not really comfortable with that but doing it anyway.
Saffy - we will be FET buddies
Crafty - Miracles do happen and they can happen to anyone, even you. Chin up babe
Tilygirl - Welcome to our thread. There is not very many of us now so I think it must be quite a lucky thread as many have left to pregnancy threads. I hope this is the case for you too soon but while you are here we will support you all we can.
Minniemouse - I saw on fertility friend once about a lady who had a successful pg after O'ing on day 65. I asked FS about it today actually and he said there is no problem with it (I thought maybe the lining would get too thick or the eggie would be over done but no he said it all just kind of goes on hold till the hormones catch up)
-
Just realising how many ladies have left our thread since it started on 19th May last year I thought I'd have a look how they are all going. I'm sure I'll have missed a few (sorry if I missed you) so feel free to add or let me know if you know about those I don't have info on.
Murrycod - Had a baby girl (as far as I know).
Porsche - UTD 39w 4 d
Me - Still trying.
Crafty - Still trying.
Alice - Left BB.
Ferrals - Baby Ella is 6w old.
Mildez - Had a baby girl.
Trea - Had a baby girl.
Sevie - No info.
T-Hopes - UTD 33w 4d.
Possums - UTD 22w 4d.
Mathew's mum - Still trying I think.
Saffy - My FET buddie.
Minniemouse - Still trying.
Possum Magic - UTD 22w 6d.
Luna - UTD.
India'smum - UTD 17w 2d.
Damprye - UTD 22w 3d.
Intheslowlane - Not sure.
Claire'smummy - Taking a break.
Loops - Still trying.
That means of the 21 I counted 11 have had bubs or are UTD. Ladies that's 50% so far in a year. I don't know about you but that is a statistic I can be happy about and it gives me hope.
-
woohoo :leap: welcome back sunbeam!!
great list, thats good sats. ( I think claresmummy got UTD but unfortunately had a miscarriage poor darling, Luna is definately UTD!)
I think I will join the Ridiculously Long Cycles Club too soon, although I am only CD28 now, I'm not sure that I ever O'd, and keep getting blobs of EWCM randomly every few days, no sign of AF, not UTD ( did a test just incase), so no idea when AF will come, as I had lingering hcg for a few weeks. Aren't we a bit young to have cycles going all over the place or is it the ivf/clomid meds? Or am I delusional about my age?
Sunbeam are you doing a natural or HRT FET? You probably told me but I forget.
Crafty-sorry AF came babe
Tilygirl- how much clomid are you on?
Minniemouse- hope you are going ok x
-
hi everyone, been thinking about you all...crafty-sorry af came..tilygirl-welcome to the thread, sorry for your losses..minniemouse-sorry to read you've come up against another challenge to get through...afm-doing another stim cycle,i'm on day3 of injections, sniffing synarel, scan on friday to check follicles
-
hi girls,
welcome to tilygirl, sorry you have had to join us here but we are all lovely girls (lol) who will help and support you
sunbeam: good to see you back, thankyou for that info on that women getting pregnant when she ovulated so late in her cycle, it doesn't seem right does it ! i asked my specialist about me ovulating day 24 and was that bad and they said no too. thanks also for doing that list, it really does make me more hopeful. oh and clairesmummy is having a bit of a break for now
gosh you poor thing having such a long cycle, doesn't it frustrate you so much, especially now you want to get going with things !
oh yeah and loops pops in here sometimes, she comes under still trying also
saffy: fingers crossed for you this cycle, you didn't have a progesterone level done to see if you ovulated did you ?
matthewsmum: good to see you posting again, i have missed you. are you on increased medication this time or do you stay on the same dose ? fingers crossed for your scan friday
crafty: so sorry to hear af arrived but don't forget 2 of our more mature girls :-) are now pregnant so there is still hope for you
afm: well what a whirlwind of a week for me, so after the stitch pain of wednesday we have dtd a few times, i also had blood tests done wednesday which showed i had just ovulated or was about to so hopefully we are in with a chance even though we didn't get dtd until late, im using the progesterone for the first time this cycle so will see how that goes. i was thinking i will be happy if i can get past 10dpo without bleeding but then a friend told me i wont bleed while im on the progesterone, im glad she told me because i would have got my hopes up if i got past that point. those of you that have been on progesterone did you find it kept af away until you stopped the pessaries ?
i also got another prolactin done and my level dropped from over 1800 to 80 in one week !!! its now abnormal because it is low, can't win ! but it shouldn't matter
-
hi minnie,i was told the prog pessaries usually hold af back, but i have still got her while on the pessaries,i'm on the same dose of gonal f & synarel as last stim...
-
minnie- I got af while on progesterone but i was on crinone, it might be different w pessaries.
-
Sunbeam-WELCOME BACK HUN!!!!! ready and rareing to go i see lets hope for a speedy BFP.
And no one has heard from murrycod she last replied to my emails 2 weeks before she was due to have her bub and she was going to send me pic's of her bub when born and so far i havent heard a peep she has not even replied to my last email pleading to know she was ok so i am worried about her.
-
Hi Ladies
Welcome back Sunbeam! Missed seeng your name pop up lol.
I'm still floating around. 2 days to go but I "know" I'll be overdue. I've been reading along with all your replys with the ups and downs but haven't felt that I can contribute much.
-
Hi gals,
Just popping my head in because, while stalking (sorry!!) I saw your question Minnie. I just thought I would add that while on crinone gel I bled but the pessaries held back AF 100%. I think I was day 37-8 when I had my BT and I had not even spotted. That was a BFN cycle. As soon as I stopped the pessaries, I bled.
wishing everyone in here the best-est of luck x

Hi Ladies,
Saffy - I have always had squiffy cycles, never been a 28 day girl in my life but I think IVF definitely makes it worse. As for EWCM, what's with that stuff, I got some yesterday, cd51 and well past O day!!!! Super confusing! Yes I am doing a HRT cycle. I can't believe it is so much easier than a stym cycle, no injections only one scan, no bloods.....way easier! Are you doing HRT?
Minniemouse - Just for an extra bit of hope for you, I got pg on a cycle where I O'ed on cd25 and a friend of mine has a daughter from cd24 O so it totally can happen. Thanks for the updates I added them to the list. With Luna UTD that actually takes it to over 50% :)
Ferrals - I am very worried about Murrycod too she seemed to just disappear. I really hope there is not bad news and she's just super busy with bub.
Porsche - I am excitedly awaiting your PA. I still lurk on PAML it has been so good to see so many bubs born recently.
AFM - I went to see a spiritual healer yesterday, she had been recommended by a friend and she was sooooo awesome. I was there for 3 hours! I feel like I got to work through so much of my sorrow about my babies and also so much of my worry about my mum, just beautiful, totally recommend it. Going to have a big chat with my Donor in the wings today and explain to him the process of getting some of his goodies on ice in case we need to do IUI. Hope it doesn't freak him out
-
Sunbeam! Welcome back :D So glad that everything is starting up again for you!!! My fingers are crossed for a strong BFP very soon! xx
