Hi Girls! Have been away for a night sorting out my new cycle with my new clinic ( which is an hour away, so I stayed the night and did a few things)

Mindhugs- thank you for sharing your story, I'm so glad things worked out for you. I have decided to change my doctor, I was scared at first but now I am so glad i did.It would have been easier to just keep going but like you I don't know how much more i can take! My new doctor says they overtreat with progesterone which has been my biggest worry, so I feel confident already. Good luck for the rest of your pregnancy, and will be waiting to hear your good news!!!

matthewsmum- how is the tww going?? I am waiing still for AF so will start fet cycle when she chooses to arrive!!

tilygirl- how is your tww going?? I had sore ovaries after O I think, and was bloated for a while, I think its normal but don't quote me, it should have settled by now anyway??

sunbeam- have you started any meds yet?? I am doing a different fet cycle now with something called letrozole ( its like clomid apparently), I will do some reading up on it, but its not HRT. I cannot wait for my cycle ot start, still a way off for me, so hopefully you will have your bfp by then!!!

minniemouse- how are you? Has AF arrived - I hope not xx

AFM- so as I said, went to new clinic today and saw the nurse for cycle explaination, left with armfuls of prescriptions, pathology slips, medications, info, etc, so I am happy with everything. Only problem is AF STILL hasn't arrived. SO now, I am hoping she stays away just long enough for my embryos and paperwork to all be sorted between the 2 clinics, which will be a few weeks. If she arrives before that is done I will have to wait another month. If AF never arrives and the embies get there, I will take provera to sort it out. Finally some action! :D

afm: af arrived sunday, 62 day cycle ! im glad its over, next week, i have to have the ultrasound and dye test next monday and seeing the specialist next wednesday for the results

hi all,minniemouse-thinking of you,i've had the dye test,i didn't find the actually procedure too bad,take a pad as sometimes after some dye can leak out,before the procedure,i think about 1 hour before,i took 2 naprogesic(blue tablets)ones used for period pain...saffy-so good to hear you sounding positive about the change...afm-5 days post blasty transfer,3 blastys have been frozen,pick up the 12embryos that weren't frozen tomorrow,might get a little pot plant to bury them in...

First of all I want to say a huge hello to you all and I have missed you all enormously. As you all may know we suffered our 3rd MC a few months ago I was 9.5weeks PG when bubs heart stopped beating. I must thank you all for being so supportive to me while I was going through the most devastating time of my life. In saying that DH and I are now TTC yet again for our 3rd year of nothing successful as yet. Since our MC we have now relocated to a new area and with our move came the shock of my life, my cycle has remained at 28days and I usually O around day 20-21 so I have always had a very short LP. With in the month after moving to our new place and DH starting his new job this cycle I actually o'd on day 15-16 OMG I am still in total shock that Oing happened for me so early it has been going on 3 years now of TTC and FINALLY I o'd nearly in the middle of my cycle, assuming of course AF don't turn up 8 days after Oing, FX. When I fell PG with my last bub I was taking Clomid and yes it got me pregnant but it didnt end the way it should of. So anyhow with out boring you all to tears I am back yet again for another go at TTC and this time keep our bub hopefully. I have a GP appointment Wednesday to check my Progesterone levels and I also have my 1st FS appointment at the end of June with a new FS as the last guy left alot to be desired.
Anyways I look forward to catching up with you all again and getting to know any newbies since I was last on here.

How's everyone else going??

Well, only update for me is spotting yesterday ( after dtd, don't know if that caused it), now its a good sign that af might be loitering somewhere in the distant, but hopefully she will hold off until all my paperwork is sorted out, at least until next week. My old clinic have a holdup with DH's child protection check ( you girls outside of Victoria don't know how lucky you have it) so if AF comes before that is sorted I'm buggered for another month, but if she holds off :crossfingers: I could be good to go soon :happydance: Exciting!

afm: things still going wrong for me this cycle, yesterday i went off to have the dye test and ultrasound, my gosh i was in pain from the full bladder i had to have and of course they were running late, anyway had the ultrasound done and then went for dye test, i was a bit nervous and wanted it over with, so im laying their prepped on the table, had signed consent etc then they come in and say i can't have it done because they thought it was a different test when they booked me !!!!!!!!! they do the test they thought i was having (dye test under xray) but not the one i needed which is dye test under ultrasound. honestly i could have cried, my specialist appointment is tomorrow and this cycle has been so long everything is being done at the last minute. so then i madly rang around back and forth to the specialist and ultrasound places & ended up getting an appointment tomorrow morning and my specialist appointment is in the afternoon, nothing i can do but cross my fingers and hope the specialist can get a verbal report of the test results. now i have to psych myself up again

i have to say this latest setback really has me questioning whether i want to go on ttc, i think too many obstacles are being put in my way and i think the universe is telling me to stop, this cycle has just been a disaster

minniemouse-i'm sorry there was a mix-up with your test...possums-thanks for the update on t-hopes,been wondering about her..afm-officially a bfn,going to try naturally this month,clinic nurse said i should have a month break from hormones & also the bank balance isn't looking to healthy,a friend of mine approached me today about her doing donor eggs for me so that's given me something else to think about,bit worried how she'll go with egg collection as she doesn't seem to have a very high pain threshold,she said she'd want a general anesthetic,not sure if my clinic does that,i've only had sedation & local,have to look into it a bit more,i don't know...

AFM - Sorry if there is other news I've missed not thinking very clearly tonight as my cold has now gone to my head. Okay so, I have been on the HRT, had a scan on tuesday that showed nice sleepy ovaries and a lining of 8.5mm. Started prog. pesseries (yay no crinone whoo :clap:) 400mg morning and night from yesterday. I'm also on the modified colorado protocol. FET is booked for 12.50pm on monday. I'll be going to acupuncture before and after transfer and then I'm doing 3 days bed rest (you'll hear from me a lot then, I'll be sooo bored). I was worried it would get cancelled because rather stupidly I managed to get sick and had a fever on monday night but my cough is improving just all sniffy tonight.
I had my last day at my job and was sooo ****ty because my boss of 9 years was not there that day but did not bother to say goodbye before she left or call or even email me goodbye, what a b%#ch! I had an nice leaving lunch at work but then planned a proper leaving dinner with all my gorgeous collegues and freinds for the saturday night. It turned into rather a big night, didn't get home till 3am hence why I got sick! Oh well figured if I get UTD I won't be having any other big nights for a while.:D
Still have not heard anything from the job I interviewed for but don't care right now as my private practise is going fine and I have almost finished setting up my nice new office.
I have heard more about how cut donor daddy is about me having another donor lined up and it has helped restore my faith a bit in his committment to this, sad that that is what it took though.

Sorry for my big ramble just lots been going on.

Thank you all for your lovely kind words and support in here once again, it never truly stops amazing me how much support you all are so willing to give to me, all you ladies are just wonderful and I have everything crossed that we all have long awaited BFPs and sticky bubs real soon.

AFM~ Nothing to report really, today I am 9-10DPO not 100% sure if I O'd day 15 or 16 this cycle had my + OPT on day 15 in the morning and bad cramping in the evening. Whether I am 9 or 10DPO it's been along time since I have gone this far into my LP with no sign of AF yet. I had a BT on Wednesday which would of been 7-8DPO GP was doing a full hormone check and I get the results from that on Monday Morning. I now have 4.5weeks until I see my new OB/GYN getting nervous already but also a little excited. Well that's enough about me for now, hope you are all having a wonderful Friday and not freezing like I am.

AFM well day 2 as AF arrived yesterday but I guess I should be greatful for a regular 28day cycle and ready to try again and again for as long as it takes to get my BFP. I have a friend on another thread who is 47 and got a BFP this week so its given me a big boost she also revealed the vitamins and vitex she took so I am giving it a go and DH is fully ready taking zinc and spermax and he says we will get it right soon and I beleive him so watch this space !!!! :pray: ;)

AFM~ Well today is CD1 for me, had an LP of a whole 9 days woohoo for me.......not...lol..... Not really that upset by it I have come to expect AF every month now but this cycle was only 25days instead of 28 like normal guess AF arrived early as I O'd early this cycle but my LP has not changes at all. Oh well TTC is now on hold until after I see our new OB/GYN at the end of June. Good luck to everyone else I will be stalking you all, ;)

matthewsmum- your DH sounds sweet. As for the donor, I would seriously consider it if I were you, everyone else can be negative but they are not in your situation and have understanding about it. I'm glad you have some embies in the freezer as you don't have to decide right now but its good to know someone has offered if you decide to go down that path. Hugs to you xx

afm- went to acupuncturist today to try and bring AF on, can't beleive it actually works- I have been having cramps ever since, hopefully I will get my timing right with af and be able to start my fet soon. Had a big weekend with a few parties, and still recovering!

matthewsmum: big decision for you, i agree with saffy though, its your life, i would ignore other peoples opinions and go with what you and dh want

afm: saw the specialist last wednesday, all test results came back fine and dh sperm test got him a gold star. my prolactin level is now 33 (from 1857 !) & is classed as low now. yesterday i started getting lots of ewcm and sore nipples which i get a few days before ovulation but as i was day 14 didn't believe what my body was showing me, today i did an opt and it is positive, i nearly fell over when i saw it, last cycle was day 45 !! and this looks like day 16 or 17. the annoying thing is i have been so sick we haven't been dtd but will start tonight and hope we get a few goes in.

i am so relieved it looks like it will happen early this cycle, the wait to ovulate really does my head in. this is a natural cycle so will see what happens, after this i have 3 more goes of clomid, the specialist decided the time i was on it didn't really count because my high prolactin would have been interfering with it working well. im happy to try that for a few more goes

Mathew'smum - I'm sorry all this has hit right around Mathews' due date, sometimes it is just too much to bear. I'm with the girls though it is your life and your family and no ones opinion matters except you and DH. My bestie offered her eggs if I needed them and i would have had no hesitation at all, it would have been a sweet blessing.

Minniemouse - Your cycles are so like mine! Some go on for ever and a good cycles sees me O'ing cd17. Looks like we'll be TTW buddies :p I hope the cold eases up.

AFM - Thank you for all the good wishes. I am PUPO with one little embie. The first one they defrosted didn't make it but the second was good. I had acupuncture before and right after. Bit freaky, I arrived at the acupuncturist and there in the waiting room was the psychic I saw about 2 months ago and a woman going for transfer at the same clinic as me just an hour earlier! I have been in bed for the rest of the day and plan on staying here for most of tues and wed. I still have one little day 6 embie left in the freezer feels a bit sad he's all alone now! I kind of wish I'd got to use them all up as I don't think I will have another go after this which ever way it goes.

Please stick little bub.

just a quick update, i ovulated last night, day 15 !! talk about taking a girl by surprise ! we dtd last night then i felt ovulation in the hours following that, i had hoped to have a few goes before ovulation by wasn't meant to be it seems, i hope we are in with a chance, will dtd tonight then start progesterone tomorrow

Sunbeam~ I haven't been on any progesterone support as yet not sure if my new FS will put me on it to try or not. The only thing my last FS gave me was Clomid and a few ultra sounds that was it no BT nothing.

AFM~ Finally got my BT results only cause I had to ring them and get them after travelling the 40 minutes into town yesterday to pick them as per GPs request they couldn't give them to me yesterday as there was no Nurse on, I was not happy so they took my ph number and was meant to ring me this morning with results and still nothing so I rang them this afternoon and here are my results. BT was a mid cycle test. Progesterone- 50
Estrogen- 230
Luteinizing Hormone- under 2
Prolactin - 4.
These tests were taken 7 days after ovulation and AF turned up 2.5 days later giving me a LP of 9 days.
Any advice good or bad will be appreciated as I have no idea what the results should be but one thing I do know for sure is that I can't ever seem to fall pregnant with out Clomid and even when I did fall pregnant on Clomid I still had a MC.

Sunbeam - Thinking of you and your little embie. I am praying this one works out for you and donor Dad.

Claire's Mummy - Are they going to put you on low dose aspirin when you conceive this time? I lost 4 babies before this one (I'm currently 21 weeks) and the difference this time was progesterone for the first 6 weeks and low dose aspirin for 36 weeks. I don't know about the progesterone but my FS was amendment he wanted me to stick with the aspirin.

India's Mum ~ I have no idea what they are going to do with me this time darl, I am going to see a new OB/GYN at the end of June as my last one was very vague and didn't do much at all with me. If you don't mind me asking what is the Low dose Asprin for? I guess I'm feeling like a total lost cause at the moment, every time I seem to have any type of testing for my TTC and MC problems everything keeps coming back that there is nothing wrong with me, it's all starting to drive me insane. I have no idea really what my levels should be so Im about to go and google it. Good luck with your pregnancy darl I hope it all goes well for you and you are holding your beautiful little bundle in another 19 weeks if I have my sums right on the timing for you. ;)

Claire's Mummy - My tests all came back normal too. The theory behind low dose aspirin is that if your blood is a tiny bit too thick then your baby is unable to absorb the correct nutrients at the early stages before the placenta takes over. The aspirin thins the blood. I know of a couple of other people who also had unexplained losses that had success after the aspirin. Ask your FS about it. If he doesn't feel you need it, ask if it would be alright if you took it for the first 12 weeks anyway (that's the usual length of time people are advised to take it). good luck sweetie.

minniemouse and clairesmummy FX your BFPs willl be sooner than later and yay for a normal cycle minnie mouse it sucks to have a long one I used to be like that but seem to have settled back into my 28days but it sure did take ages after my mc in sept 09 but at least its back now and at 46 I guess I should be happy to be so regular !!!!

AFM well day 7 been taking 2 vitex a day as well as Evening primrose oil and natural vit E once a day and pre preg supplements and wash it all down with Berocca ! and you know what I feel fantastic really bright eyed and bushy tailed and now just waiting another 7 days to ovulate and getr lots of Bdancing in well not too much don't want to weaken the old sperm count lol I don't know too much or too little we never seem to get that one right LOL anyhow full of postitive attitude ( maybe this will be my lucky month )

Crafty - I started taking it the moment I found out I was pregnant but I do know of people advised to take it while they are TTC. Make sure you take the coated one (I use CARTIA) as I started with uncoated and had a lot of stomach pain as I am prone to ulcers. Good Luck.
